I loved the Xbox retrospective videos my friend! Just started collecting Original Xbox games last week and you showed some games that I had forgotten about! Trying to re-live my childhood a little.
I watched part 1 & 2 of your video and just want to say thank you! This was great to watch. A friend is visiting next month for a week and we plan on revisiting lots of these old Xbox titles on our gamecation.
I really regret not keeping my xbox games. I had a huge collection and all of them are in the trash now. Most of these i played and i would like to play them once more try out how entertaining i find them now.
You are awesome for doing this man. I owned an Xbox around 2004-2006 but only got to play a handful of titles. I always wanted to play some more titles. Now that they are cheap it seems like a good time to finally explore.
This is the 6th video series on the original Xbox I’ve watched that doesn’t mention any of the Max Payne games. Being my favorite games on the console I thought they would get more love. So weird.
Not sure if different in other regions. In North America Max Payne 1 and 2 are also available on PS2. That's what I have them for. They'll definitely get some love when I get around to my multi-platform videos on that generation!
I've been thinking on getting one back because there are so many games that I still wanted to play since the 360 and then the Xbox One, I was hopping that eventually every game was going to be fully backward compatible and now the Series X that it look like no new games are being added, at least at launch. I don't want to be another gen disappointed, waiting for those games from the original Xbox that I want to play since the day I sold it. Thanks for the videos!
When Sony first launched the PlayStation it's marketing was all about rebellious teen not wanting the little kid games, then Microsoft does the same thing when Xbox comes out. I was that counter culture rebel nerd who was lucky enough to own a launch Xbox along with Halo, Dead or Alive 3, Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, and the Wrestling game of the time; which I thought sucked compared to the N64 games I had got bored of prior. Fast forward to co-op halo 2 legendary campaign run when the whole system locks up with glitched audio and a noticeable click coming from the Xbox, my HDD failed and so my Xbox went into my closet and my games sat on the shelf. So many of these games I never go to play, most notably for me was Ninja Gaiden Black. I loved Ninja Gaiden but it froze up during a boss battle and I never finished it, and with the HDD failure never got NGB. I'm looking forward to revisiting some of these. Thanks for the videos!
The Free 2 Play Phantom Dust game that Microsoft released on Xbone and Win10 is actually just a "remastered" Phanton Dust 1. Means it the original game with same graphics, just runs better and in higher resolution, with a working Multiplayer and the Original PD campagne
You can play with the regular controller, you aim, and zoom in with the scope, and shoot in either view. It doesn't quite have the novelty of the arcade experience, but still a cool game.
I can guess why you never finished Halo 2 despite finishing all of the others. Halo 2 was basically the genesis of online multiplayer and many people who bought Halo 2 never looked back on the campaign once they got wrapped up in the multiplayer. In fact, it was even hard to go back...because nothing matched playing human players.
I’m really struggling to find this game I used to play... We had to like scare people off their houses as monsters and I think it’s made or published by blizzard games... if anyone knows what game it is comment it’s name I would be very grateful 🥺
Was it an original Xbox game, and what region are you in? I can't think of any off hand like that. The Haunting for Genesis comes to mind, that was published by EA. There's a subreddit called tipofmyjoystick that's whole purpose is to name games based on vague descriptions (and they are really good at it there) so that's worth a try. Sounds interesting, let me know if you find it.
Lost Without Translation I don’t really know if it was an original game but I remenber on the cover of the cd there was the blizzard thingy haha, and I’m in Europe
@@scamazine4377 From a quick look at og Xbox games that came out in Europe but not North America I came across Ghost Master en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Master Seems like that could be it. PS2/Xbox in Pal regions only, but available on PC worldwide. I'll need to check it out!
@@scamazine4377 No worries, sounds cool and always great to learn about games that never got console releases over here. I'm definitely going to check it out.
One of the most comprehensive videos about games on the original Xbox. Lots of great ones showed.

Dude what a great video along with part 1. I’m discovering xbox for the first time and this is just great.

Your retrospective videos are great. Whenever I watch one I have a stack of games that I want to track down. My wallet hates me for it

**shows Sudeki cover** "Five out of Five Stars" - Maxim. Yeah, I'll bet.
Dead or Alive 1 Ultimate was a Saturn port not PsOne. DOA 2 Ultimate was built from the ground up using DOA 3 engine and not Dreamcast or PS2 port.
Great content

20:22 "Advent Rising was supposed to be a trilogy but it bombed." ..... well we did get Jupiter Rising!!..... oh wait.... that was Jupiter Ascending.
OutRun 2006 Coast to Coast came out for the Xbox and I was about to order a copy until I saw the price - so I will stick with my PS2 copy.
When will you be doing your Saturn retrospective? Looking forward to it. These videos are fantastic.
Thanks! Should have Saturn posted by end of next week.
Nice collection bro.

Thanks! I didn't know the updated one was a remake. I really play make some time to play that through.
Great presentation, thanks!
The only complaint i have about this video is that its (CUH-THOO-LOO) lol
What did you not like about the half life ps2 port?
Red dead revolver or manhunt
Lost Without Translation, does Silent Scope require the light gun, or can I play using my Xbox S controller? Please advise.
