Paused at 4:42 its a great yaris thats my guess
At 6:34 wasn't expecting that
What about the focus?
Yes lads 👌🤙💯☘
Guess it's a bit my fault i mentioned this bike in the comments lol.
They are neat little bikes though.
Perfect for doing small errands or just scoot around places, cheaper on gas as well then any car you could buy for the same price used or new i bet.
Guessing you'll source a dual channel abs too sort out the bike ?
I was getting excited thinking he bought a new Toyota GR Yaris! 😂😂😂 We got Bamboozled! 😂😂
Damn that was my guess too. Haven't even watched the video yet but I guess I'm wrong :/
I always told myself that I won't ever buy brand new car, but then GR Yaris showed up 😁 It looks nice next to MKIV Supra in my garage 😁
Yay grenade the gearbox
@@DziadekMroz6666 for me it just looks like a square with a weird back end.
Got me good.
I thought the Focus RS qualified as a new car they helped make in Germany.
I'm sure there's a technicality in there somewhere, such as perhaps the RS was some sort of sponsorship deal (or at least lots of setup behind the scenes, so definitely not a traditional purchase) and was probably owned by MCM the business, not Moog or Marty personally. Whereas with the postie, Moog just went out and bought it with his own money in a traditional dealer purchase experience
Pretty sure ford gave them the rs. I dont think they bought that.
@@dvldrvr420 yea I doubt they own it otherwise there would have been more videos with it in
@@SpartanFore They also had a Ford transporter iirc
I own their new book with all the cars. Moog wrote "We had previously worked with Ford on a film for their ranger so I floated the idea of doing something with the RS" ... "There was quite a lot to organise logistically but Ford pulled it all the way together and allowed us into their factory in Germany to film working on what would become our own car." Im pretty sure this means they got the car from Ford. Although the cost price says $50.990 AUD
" Neither of us has ever had a new vehicle have we?"
The RS: "am i a joke to you?"
This is what I came to say. Not as witty as your comment though.
@@coreymiller2207 same
I went to the comment section thinking the same thing after double-checking the release date of this video thinking it might be an old video about the RS.
I was like, they went to the factory and signed the inside of bumper! What happened? Lol
@@fishua5564 they didn't buy the RS afaik, they were given it.
"I've never owned a new vehicle" but I literally went to the factory and installed the front bar on a new vehicle and put my channel's sticker on the inside and had it shipped directly to my house.
Loaned to me by Ford and given back shortly after. That or the RS was 'MCM's' car rather than his personally.
Yeah exactly
"I was oiling my mustache and playing one of my monophonic analogue synthesizers while having an acai bowl, and then thought, 'why don't I commission an abstract artist to do like an oils painting of my moped?' And that's exactly what I did" - Blair Joscelyne 13:05

Farken gold right there 😂
Why do people use Moogs real name? It's weird
@@Nereosis16 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Moog wasn't putting on an act for this. He's genuinely loving it.
a full on beefy Honda moped, that now has ABS and semiauto and bigger engine than the old school ones, and that is as off-roadable as a Jeep, for 2 people. Were do I sign, I want one too.
I was this giddy when I bought my kids powerwheels. I wanted to be able to ride them like I was a kid again so bad.
He was also loving doing a "Sixth Sense" on us by constantly talking about his "new vehicle". It was a good put on!
@@emotionz3 thats why i got a couple power wheels for my son. I remember always wanting one so bad when i was young that i wanted him to have the fun of driving them
@@Equinox866 It was 1987, I was 5, and my grandma bought a red Jeep power wheels to put under the Christmas tree. It was undoubtedly the most significant gift I received throughout my entire childhood.
Love how Moog says "Nope" to receiving the vehicle rundown and the very next clip is the dealer giving him the rundown!😭🤣🤣 Luv it😂
These are honestly my favorite episodes, where it is all about the passion and experience with a vehicle that you love. Keep it up fellas!
Seeing Moog's genuine love for these bikes is awesome. Passion like this from both the guys is why I watch this channel. Amazing work as always lads 👍👍
I love the little deceptive "Audi dealership" throw away line!
I like the bike content TBH. We are here to laugh and learn.
My last car was bought as a demo that barely had the dealers stickers put on at 13 km. Including my own test drive, it had 46 km on the clock when I picked it up after signing the paperwork.
The one I have now was bought brand spanking new, directly from the factory. I had to wait 5½ months for it, and had it delivered in mid June.
Growing up riding a trail 90 my entire childhood once they announced they were making the trail 125 I have wanted one and at 4000 USD it’s the only bike within reach for the average person from new with cash in hand. I don’t have a motorcycle license but you bet I would get one if I buy this bike.
What about that Ford focus you put things on at the factory that was sent from Germany with your secret chopped sticker?
Wasn't the focus Marty's?
@@fl1ppy810 yeah but Marty says multiple times he has never had a new vehicle either.
Just a guess. Ford paid for the RS(?) so it doesn't count?
@@IAmTheStiv that's the only thing I could think as well. Also explains why they only had it for a few months maybe.
Must have been a dream.....
I just watched two guys on RevZilla take that exact model bike 1000+ miles to the most northern point in Alaska. It was impressive to see how well it did in the bush.
I watched the same video..
I was literally halfway through it when the notification for this video popped up.
Hope we see Marty and moog tour the bikes
Same.
You call that bush? that dirt highway was better maintained than normal paved roads overhere :D
That's what it's designed for its a trail bike lol
If you like that check out guys like ed march and similar on UA-cam who've been around the world on c90s
"it goes the same speed."
If this is the same engine as the grom with similar airbox system, throwing a Chimera intake on it will ABSOLUTELY make it go faster. Just by doing that I've made my grom hit its absolute max of 130km/h, that's when rev limiter kicks in.
That being said, I can't wait til my engine blows up years down the road just so I can justify swapping a 250cc engine onto it someday haha!
just saw a 450cc grom beat the shit out of corvettes
More 4x4 stuff lads please.
This is my favourite 4wd channel now
Moog has inspired me so much with his love for Honda supercubs that I've gone to the dealer and put down a deposit for my very own. Can't wait to rip around on it in the dead of winter when it arrives lol.
As soon as moog said he bought his new vehicle with his credit card I just KNEW it was going to be a bike!
@Martin I mean I don’t think their number of subs directly related to how famous they are and how crazy their cult following is. They’re still not mega millionaires and doubt they have 10s of thousands if not hundreds of thousands available on one credit card to purchase most of the cars the comments though they were buying. Martins comment about him being able to put it on the card was what set it over since if they had a $50-100k limit i doubt they’d be questioning the CC. We all knew they weren’t buying a new super car.
Yes I had this suspicion too. To be honest, I love getting a brand new motorcycle at the dealership.
saw this video. Pre-ordered. Pickup tomorrow. thank you for the heads up they released these! with disk brakes no less!
Cant wait to see the video putting all the mods! Congrats on your new bike.
The bike is awesome, but I am continually amazed with Australia and their nanny car b.s.
Not just on vehicle laws. From the outside looking in it seems to me that Austalia is on the steep slope towards Orwellianism.
It is a joke
Never been so early to these, it feels so......PURE.

You two make me feel old, I was driving Jeeps & tractors in the late 60s. Had a moped in 73 and a Honda 90 shortly after that. In fact I still own a Yamaha Majesty 400 now. Please continue to have fun and stay young at heart.
I restored a 1968 Trail 90 (first year with low/high range selector) and I loved it. I'll definitely be getting one of these newer models!
I love it how you can tell they both are genuinely loving this
I can't wait for the follow up with the mods
(or when marty pulls into the garage with one lol)
Hell yeah brand new, Moog continuing to do fun dumb things.
Great episode guys! I used a posty bike on the farm in the 70's - mud, water heat freezing cold never let me down and I felt safe!
It's a cool little Bike. Glad you were able to secure one before they are no more. Thanks guys!
I know the feeling. The only new vehicles I’ve owned have 2 wheels. You know your the first to twist off. It’s soul replenishing.
U think sex is good? Pfffttt
Mad unit!
Buying a new car was the worst car decision i,ve made a few years ago.
Sold it one year later with obviously a big loss.
In cars, you already lost the moment you drive it off the dealership. This is why unless you use for a business a car is a liability and not an asset

Awesome. I'm glad you guys like most of the stuff I do. Cars, Bikes, 4wding. I do much prefer v8 muscle car but I also appreciate all other forms. What about doing some boat stuff.
Australia: non ABS motorbikes are illegal.
Meanwhile in Philippines: still riding on brake drums, with no helmet
Yea, Australia’s got open motorways and speeds that goes 110km/h with no traffic and people follow rules and civilised whereas in the Philippines people cut and split lanes, poorly designed roads and lots of traffic.
Wasn’t the Focus RS brand new? 😂 anyway cool to see a brand new Hunter Cub. I wish these weren’t as expensive where I live.
It was but he didn’t pay for it.
This is the big question everybody's asking!

I'm stoked for the mods on the way. Congratulations on the new posty
Very very cool Moog, I've got a 1968 Honda S90 that my dad taught me to ride on back when I was 7 yrs old and I'm now 54 and it's still my favourite ride out of my MV Agusta 1090RR Brutale and my gsx1400 and my 88 Gsx-r 1100 and my gsx650f . So congrats on the new purchase mate and may she serve you well! I'm looking forward to seeing the mods to come. 😁👍

Was the Focus RS you partially assembled in Germany brand new? Love your show and you guys are awesome. Cheers from Canada
I’ve been eyeing that bike for a couple years now. I think you’re really going to enjoy it. Cheers!!
13:00 that is one of my favourite hipster burn lines I have ever heard Moog, get into standup mate that was fantastic 😂
Awesome purchase, I love Honda Cubs. Here's to many great adventures on it! I was once lucky enough to drive through three countries on one of the original Super Cubs, what an amazing machine. Interestingly in Switzerland you get taught to slam on your rear brake first and then your front brake in an emergency stopping situation on a motorcycle, it's part of the examination.
In the UK and EU they brought in the same rules in 2016 regarding ABS under the euro 4 rules list. All bikes over 50cc must have ABS, however 125cc bikes can have a linked braking system. I am told from a trustworthy industry insider, the reason this was done had noting to do with crash statistics, but a lot more to do with how many people on that rule making board work or worked for BMW. There is more to it regarding a chummy relationship between BMW and Bosch. Bosch being the people who make 95% of the ABS modules as it happens...how odd! It also delt a blow to the cheaper Chinese made UK sold bikes as they could not add ABS without adding a large chunk to the price. In turn this killed a lot of models in the UK and led to the rest getting a linked system as it is a lot cheaper. Some may argue in doing so they are now not as safe as before. I have locked both wheels on one of these linked system machines with the rear brake alone. However I have also ridden others with linked systems that seem to work great. So it is not the end of the world in the UK, even more so as the linked system is only a manufacturers requirement , owners can remove the linked system and it will still pass our yearly MOT. clearly (for legal reasons) What I say above is just something I was told and I am not claiming to be true and I have no evidence of this. HAHA
When government says, "it's for your safety..." you can absolutely bet there's been a crooked business deal made and they're using the safety line to sell it to the public without people asking questions...
ABS is a huge upgrade in safety. When it is mandatory, they can't charge a premium for it.
@@383mazda Ahh yes, seatbelts and safety glass, the government sure was being particularly evil. Same with food safety protocols and regulations - if I want to be able to buy some wild-caught possum meat that's been collected and boiled in dog piss then left sitting on a table outside in the sun for a day as "food", I should be able to!
Yep, ABS is good, but its first implementations were quite rough.
@@Fekillix "When it is mandatory, they can't charge a premium for it."
Kinda.
Some companies realise that they can make a lot more money by price fixing than by competing.
Brilliant. Getting around town, short commute to office, or just running to grab lunch. Good mileage, and as mentioned, capable off-road and all weather. Good deal.
First motorized vehicle was a 70’s Honda 50 moped. It had no gears, no indicators and you started it by pedaling it up while on the stand. Yes it had a chain and pedals so you could ride it like a bicycle. Barely made it to 30 mph and a total death trap but it was my first wheels
Marty and moog could make an hour long video doing absolutely nothing and I would still enjoy watching lol …
Isn't that what mcmtv2 is?
So, basically The Unicorn Circuit
Bikes are the bomb. I love the CT custom community and the mad mods that get shown at bike and car shows. The Harley guys get pissed off when the crowd is gathered around CT110s with custom machined everything, and polished to the shiznit. Posties rule.
Love it! Wow, that little 125cc single 4 stroke sound takes me back.

My first bike was a 72 ct90, or trail 90. The thing loved to suddenly crash when things got muddy but it could haul stuff and go almost anywhere.
Great video fellas big fan of the little Honda CTs even after some 50 odd years of riding. Think it’s sad that these little bikes are now banned here. If anyone is interested Zack and Ari from Revzilla actually did a road trip on the current CT and on a 1975 CT from Anchorage Alaska to the North coast a distance of over 1000miles. The video is a pretty good watch and although there was a camera crew the boys had to carry everything they needed and couldn’t rely on the camera crew for anything including food or spares.
It is sad that these are going away. But our tyrant leaders know whats best for us. Dont worry, cars are next.

I've bought all 3 of my cars from a dealer. 2 of those 3 were garbage. When I bought my dream car however. It was so nice.
I went into like a receiving garage where it was waiting all shinny. We traded check for keys. We took pictures. More bikes!!! I still love the "First Ride" video!! ANYTHING two wheels reminds me of my late father. I grew up on the back of his BMW R1100. My mom had a Honda Rebel, I had JR50 as my first bike. Next I graduated to a KTX60, then later a Husky 125 Enduro. So yeah safe to say I grew up around two wheels. Love all y'all's videos! Cheers from a big fan from Winder Ga USA!!!!!!
So, I have a question on Aussie laws. I know here in the states, if you purchased a vehicle before the law takes effect, it is still legal to register. It is “grandfathered” in. Is it the same there or can you just not register it after November?
It sounds like it's similar to the US where it's grandfathered in
