The front axle experiences tremendous amounts of lateral force while turning and those effects increase exponentially during off-road driving. The TeraFlex JL/JLU: Alpine IR Front Track Bar withstands these abusive side loads to drastically improve steering response and handling. I have a mopar lift kit and thinking putting some adjustable control arms to correct my geometry and caster, pinion angle, center axle, and if i am on budget should i put front or rear?
We would do front lowers and rear uppers.
Put this on my 2020 jl diesel. Pops n clicks and makes all kinds of noise. Any fix for this??? Bout to put the stock one back on.
Hey Bradley! Have you tightened down the adjustment sleeve bolts to 60ft lbs lately?
I installed the track bar and I tightened very well but I’m still hearing too much noise !! And it’s moving a bit, is there any fix to this issue ?
@@AALHUWIDI if you haven’t already, contact them directly and they’ll send out a replacement bushing. I swapped mine out at the frame side and the noise stopped. I had front to back movement on the bar and it would make noise over every bump below 30mph.
Doetsch OffRoad didn’t install the bracket on my lift and it’s rattling a lot
Sorry to hear that, give my customer service techs a call and they can for sure help out. 801-713-3314
TeraFlexSuspensions already called :)
Can this be installed in a JK? I plan to swap out my LCG long arms for the Alpine IR long arms and would be great if this can be installed with the arms.
Unfortunately this will not work on a JK, but we may make a JK specific version in the future.
What about the axel bracket that you show at the beginning? I did not receive and axel bracket and the bushings have a lot of play? They were retightened to spec, but not real happy with the play in the bushings.. is this something necessary with the New IR?
Depends on what lift you have installed. We have them available in 2.5-3.5" and 4.5" heights.
TeraFlexSuspensions ... I have the Teraflex ST2 w/Falcon 3.3 shocks. Do I need the bracket for s 2.5” lift.
Will it help with the clanking at the bushing?
It is optional at the 2.5" mark, extremely lift vehicles will benefit more as they are probably more around 2.75". If you are having issues with the IR Trackbar, please contact our customer service team for help. 801-713-3314
52 ft.lbs + 155 degree? are you sure? this sounds irresponsible.
Believe it or not, that is what the factory service manual recommends. The JL/JT uses some interesting torque specs.
Hoping to hear Dennis Wood's voice, got this guy instead. Boooo.
