Ok, I just gotta put this out there, those horses back legs should NOT be bowing out like they are, that is AWFUL confirmation and tells me this horse had someone on his back WAY too young. This is not ok at all, racking horses are suppose to have strong, sturdy, well held and well supported conformation and a well supported frame and this poor horse looks like his back legs are gonna do the fucking splits at any second cause he's literally bowed from his hips down!

The most abusive thing in the video is the bit and even then I think it looks worse than it is. Trotters/saddlebreds/hackneys/walkers have a higher head carriage than most so when trying to hold a horse back their head is going to go up more than your average non gaited horse. Do I think he should've used softer hands and a more gentle bit? Yeah, but I don't know the horse, I don't know how high strung he is or how he goes in different bits.
He's a sharp horse but need to change bits & put a softer bit on him & he probably bring his nose out of the air & he may need his teeth worked. Once do that id say he can fly

This horse had someone on him way too young, it damaged him from an early age, racking horses are supposed to have a strong and sturdy conformation and an A-frame gait and this poor horse is literally swaying and bowing out like he's about to do the splits. This isn't ok in any way. In order to own gaited horses you have to know what you're doing so as not to damage them or their gate in any way and maintain their conformation, stability and strength.
