  • I was approached by Elice UK to see if I would like to try and review an A3 light pad. The easy answer was YES PLEASE, as I already use A4 light pads when teaching portrait workshops and I had been eyeing up an A3 one. Just to prove I won't say yes to anything, I turned down lycra sportswear and dog outfits on Instagram (I don't do sport and don't have a dog - what were they thinking???). I was also intrigued, as it is rechargeable light pad and I hadn't seen one of those before.
This is an honest review. If I hated it, I would have returned it, but I think it will come in very handy. I take you through the features and show you how I might use it with watercolour paper and how it might also help with photography. I know lots of people use light pads for diamond painting, but I can't help with that. My only experience with diamond painting was trying to stop copyright infringement when some of my paintings were stolen and turned into kits - not a happy time!!

I am not sure if this exact light pad is available in other countries, but it is worth looking to see if you can get a battery /rechargeable one. That's really useful.
