It is a 0.17% chance, but if you are doing this over many many nights it is bound to happen sometime.
I maxed out HP and SpAtk and my streak broke while I was sleeping. I woke up, restarted the tourney, and then lost again within an hour, because I got OHKO'd by the Tera Hariyama. Definitely unlucky for that to happen twice in a few hours. Prior to this I went 16Hrs straight without dying.

There are other Pokemon you could use for this if they're EV trained and at level 100. I've been clearing the tournament with a Moonblasting Gardevoir with its main stats being special attack and special defense.
I did this and it worked wonderfully for the most part! Made over 3 million with the help of this video. The only loss I have gotten was from Geeta. I have no clue how she damaged Chi-Yu to where her Veluza just finishes them off with Aqua Jet. As I've seen others comment, HP investment over speed may be better.

@@martintakeheart9903 if you can get chi-you maxed in HP, you won’t have the problem. I’ve been able to leave my game running all day and have A ton of pokedollars.
This is really good, I've bee using a slightly less passive method: I used Gholdengo with Nasty Plot and Make it Rain. It requires a few turns of setup based on who you're facing, but using Make it Rain 6 times in a fight nets a bonus $6,000 each battle(as long as you're lvl 100). That paired with amulet coin meant I was making about $150,000 per tourney.
I lost in first tournament trying this. Chi-Yu is exactly the same stats as in the vid. Hypertrained, EV trained, Nature correct. Level 100. Geeta's Kingambit didn't die to Dark Pulse and then got me to 60 health. Then her Veluza came in and killed me

when doing ev training manually does the pokemon you want the evs on have to be the one that knocks the pokemon out? or does it just need to be in the team?
If you dont have it yet, you can also train up a sylveon with hypervoice but it requires you to use a abilitypatch on it, maxed out special attack and speed, some pokemon might take 2 hits, but it pretty much gets the job done, haven't had any misses with it
Zangoose can learn Belly Drum and Baton Pass this generation! So Technician Persian with Pay Day and Amulet Coin is the best option. You can one shot everything with Normal Tera Pay Day and get $1000 for every Pokémon you kill!
The point of this video is so that you can afk and not do anything, if you are having to Terastallize, then that means you have to actually be playing the game and select that function. Edit: Also you are switching pokemon and using other moves, so that's more paying attention you have to do
For those who want to get extra cash, i am using Gholdengo with his signature move "Make it rain" and the item Amulet Coin, HP and Sp. Attack at max EV, with this u get ~26k + ~8k. U can also use pp up for his signature, so it can attack 8 times.
You said if we had a power controller we can run it all night? So I bought a power controller and I can’t seem to map buttons correctly. Is there a video out there that can help with the specific mapping of the button so I can run it all night?
This is a good guide for the preparation (especially the amulet coin location and crash course on EV training), but I've found that a level 100 Gholdengo with Nasty Plot, Make it Rain, and the amulet coin will sweep through the tournament just as well and also give you bonus money in exchange for the few turns you spend recovering from the stat drops of Make it Rain.
You can use Krookodile with its hidden ability for the same effect and it lets you skip a few steps here since it's a lot quicker to capture than Chi Yu
I've been using krookadile for a bit but there's a problem against Dendra. You dont OHKO falinks, it can then hit you with close combat. Even with the moxie boost, you dont OHKO the flame tauros, it's gonna use close combat and put you in Aqua-jet range from the aqua Tauros
This is the only way: 25 EV boosting items 2 Feathers Max Attack= 25 Proteins, 2 Muscle Feathers Max Speed= 25 Carbos, 2 Swift Feathers Max HP= 25 HP Ups, 2 Health Feathers etc. you’ll always have 6 EV’s leftover, meaning you can put 4 EV’s (feathers) into another single stat of your choice. You know you’ve done it correctly when you use the last feathers and it lets you only use 6, but use 4 as the last 2 don’t do anything
Note is that from what I can tell is that from what I can tell there is only 3 types that can possibly run this being dark, fairy and steel most other moves have immunities and there are 3 others but are resisted quite heavily penny by herself take out a lot of types being dragon, fire, water and psychic at the top of my head
Tbh, I've been using the duplication glitch that wasn't patch yet and duplicated the ability patch from the charizard raid, it's a 125,000 I believe and after about 7 dupes later I already hit a million in under 20 minutes I believe Edit: forgot to say that you still need a duplicated miraidon/koraidon, give the item to dupe on the duplicate in your party, hit return to ride form on the duplicated pokemon then after that go to the box, hit x twice to get to the battle box section, then there should be a box with miraidon/koraidon as the box name. Click on that pokemon and select put away item from the one in the box and rinse and repeat as many times as needed
Hariyama from instructor Dendra can stop you! In best circumstances it does over 100% dmg. To prevent this do the following Evs: 252 SPA / 104 DEF / 152 SPD. You are still easily out speeding everything. In this case only Crits can stop you, and there is no way to stop this anyways! Pls thumbs up so @PhillyBeatzU notice this!
But there is still a problem sadly… if Tauros Water Style uses Aqua Jet you’re done for, if it uses Close Combat…and there is nothing you could change this
The best EV split is 244 SPA / 132 HP / 132 DEF. It is very unlikely that Hariyama has 31 ATK IV and the highest dmg output on Close Combat. So the chances to lose against instructor Dendra is lowered a lot. Also it can withstand first impression, aqua yet and close combat(the worst case scenario) in most situations
Be careful, as you can lose to geeta in this. Kingambit survives everything but a crit, and stone edge does half. So if you low roll glimora, it can finish you.
Props for mentioning Power items, which a lot of UA-camrs forget about. Tbh, seeing as you can buy 5 of each item for less than the cost of using vitamins for one Pokemon, and you can then EV train 5 mons at once, it is actually the better method, imo. More affordable and once-off cost, unlike the costly vitamin method. Plus, with sandwiches or just knowing where to go, the training can be so fast. I use the Chanseys xp farm in the north for HP EVs (10ea with a Power item) and then just destroy the nearby Golducks for Sp Atk or Flamigos for Attack.
My chi-yu died to something Geeta had but I wasn't paying attention so I don't know what. All I heard was the "you ran away with your Pokemon cause you lost" sounds and ended up at the Pokemon center. If it happens again I'll probably move the speed EVs to HP
Just a general question, I guess even self explaining, but mints just work one time on a Pokemon right ? I’m always confused cause you can give ‘em multiple ones

Except with Berries. Don't max out the Berries to reduce a stat unless you're less than 200 EVs. If the EV is maxed (sparkly) then use 11 (the first berry will reduce by 100), but if it's below 200 you will have to use more up to 19 berries.
Btw, using the feathers instead of extra vitamins saves you like 30k, which adds up as you train more pokemon.
Tbf
Once you have this set up money won't be much of an issue anymore
You can lose to the Hariyama if it gets a critical. The best way to counter this is to invest in Defense instead of speed. HP works, too, but 2 criticals have you in range. You don't need speed investment at all. With zero EVs, you outspeed everything.

Chi-Yu will outspeed everything without any speed investment. I recommend doing 252 HP so you do not lose to a few double crit scenarios. Also the only IV you do not need is speed. However, defense and sp defense will certain help with the before mentioned double crit scenarios.
@@KingTode it's an issue sure.

I'm thinking Choice Specs might be better for stable runs

If you’re doing this while AFK and worried you’re gonna get knocked out you can switch the amulet coin with choice specs, losing a little money but you’re doing more damage. If you’re asleep it might be better
choice specs boosts sp atk. which isn't really all that helpful chi-yu basically already one shots everything, the only scenario i can see you fainting is if you miss repeatedly, so a better choice would actually be wide lens if you're willing to sacrifice the extra cash.

Unfortunate that quite a few of the explainers in this video are incomplete, inaccurate or just unnecessary. Man took someone elses idea and not only didnt improve on it, but actually made a worse tutorial in my opinion. It'll get you there, but not in the most optimal way at all.

So I had an issue with dendra with this strat. Her Falinks used first impression and her Taurus used aqua jet putting my low enough that Hariyama finished me with close combat, no crit. Was this just luck as everyone else keeps saying that could only die to crit?

Fluttermane is a Good Alternative for this, or you can do what the Japanese players are doing and use a Sylveon
Hey, Philly!! I love the videos. I just think if you made your face cam a little bigger it create more of a personal connection ❤️
I had already gotten a 252 sp. atk and 252 speed chi-yu. I have a turbo controller. Did it like this but woke up to healing myself over and over at the Pokémon center. lol. Not sure what KO’d me but something did only after 600,000 poke dollars
Update: ev trained my second chi-yu with hp and sp. attack and working flawlessly
Update again: left the max Hp and max sp. atk chi-yu battling while I was at work today. After about 5 million dollars I got knocked out and came home to healing myself at the Pokémon center.
i've been getting knocked out by tera hariyama
@@martintakeheart9903 if you can get chi-you maxed in HP, you won’t have the problem. I’ve been able to leave my game running all day and have A ton of pokedollars.
What turbo controller are you using? Does it work well or would you have another recommendation?
This is really good, I've bee using a slightly less passive method: I used Gholdengo with Nasty Plot and Make it Rain. It requires a few turns of setup based on who you're facing, but using Make it Rain 6 times in a fight nets a bonus $6,000 each battle(as long as you're lvl 100). That paired with amulet coin meant I was making about $150,000 per tourney.
Chi Yu is better because you don’t need setup, meaning you can do this with a turbo controller (no need to manually press buttons at all)
I lost in first tournament trying this. Chi-Yu is exactly the same stats as in the vid. Hypertrained, EV trained, Nature correct. Level 100.
Geeta's Kingambit didn't die to Dark Pulse and then got me to 60 health. Then her Veluza came in and killed me

Fluttermane LvL.100, 252 in special attack and 252 in special defense, leftover 4 ev's wherever, set moonblast to first move (learns at level 84 or something), remove all other party pokemon to fix not being able to change to set battle style and keep hitting A-button, hold amulet coin for max money rewards, done.
Also tip that you missed it has to be the only Pokemon in your party for this to work as well.

when doing ev training manually does the pokemon you want the evs on have to be the one that knocks the pokemon out? or does it just need to be in the team?

25 vitamins, then 2 of the relevant feathers will get you the full 252 ev you need
The problem with what you said is that you missed the point of the video.
This is a way you can make money with just one button press.
The point of this video, is for AFK farming, not for setting up
Honestly been spamming Dragon Darts with Dragpult lmaoooo
I've died with amulet coin so I swapped to choice specs so he does slightly more damage. I'll take the small hit to my money for more consistency
You can do this with almost any lvl 100 pokemon with the right moves. I already did this with my Goodra didn't realize this was a special thing.
What's a "Power Controller"? How do I get a controller to spam A for me over and over?
You can use Krookodile with its hidden ability for the same effect and it lets you skip a few steps here since it's a lot quicker to capture than Chi Yu
I've been using krookadile for a bit but there's a problem against Dendra. You dont OHKO falinks, it can then hit you with close combat. Even with the moxie boost, you dont OHKO the flame tauros, it's gonna use close combat and put you in Aqua-jet range from the aqua Tauros
Don't buy the vitamins sell them you can now spend 30-hour ev training with the bracelets in fact you can do up to 6 at one time.
Can you turn off battle animations? I’m sure that would speed up the process too.
This is the only way:
25 EV boosting items
2 Feathers
Max Attack= 25 Proteins, 2 Muscle Feathers
Max Speed= 25 Carbos, 2 Swift Feathers
Max HP= 25 HP Ups, 2 Health Feathers
etc.
you’ll always have 6 EV’s leftover, meaning you can put 4 EV’s (feathers) into another single stat of your choice. You know you’ve done it correctly when you use the last feathers and it lets you only use 6, but use 4 as the last 2 don’t do anything
How do you get a power or pro controller to press A by itself over night?
Its 26 of the Hp or Zinc to max a stat. One of those items gives 10 EVs, 25 only gove 250. The max in the stat is 255.
Note is that from what I can tell is that from what I can tell there is only 3 types that can possibly run this being dark, fairy and steel most other moves have immunities and there are 3 others but are resisted quite heavily penny by herself take out a lot of types being dragon, fire, water and psychic at the top of my head
Isn't skeledirge+torch song+ metronome the same thing and cheaper to set up
Can't use amulet coin with that setup though.
Tbh, I've been using the duplication glitch that wasn't patch yet and duplicated the ability patch from the charizard raid, it's a 125,000 I believe and after about 7 dupes later I already hit a million in under 20 minutes I believe
Edit: forgot to say that you still need a duplicated miraidon/koraidon, give the item to dupe on the duplicate in your party, hit return to ride form on the duplicated pokemon then after that go to the box, hit x twice to get to the battle box section, then there should be a box with miraidon/koraidon as the box name. Click on that pokemon and select put away item from the one in the box and rinse and repeat as many times as needed
Thank you for you videos!
Training ev is pretty easy you guys, it’s not that hard and don’t cost to much time to max a status (using power bracer etc)
Yay I would rather spend my money for buying bottle cups
Hariyama from instructor Dendra can stop you! In best circumstances it does over 100% dmg. To prevent this do the following Evs:
252 SPA / 104 DEF / 152 SPD.
Does the game save automatically after each battle/tournament? What if your game crashes after hours of griding?
Not me watching the whole tutorial while already having a pokemon that one shots everything
My chi-yu died to something Geeta had but I wasn't paying attention so I don't know what. All I heard was the "you ran away with your Pokemon cause you lost" sounds and ended up at the Pokemon center. If it happens again I'll probably move the speed EVs to HP
Is this strategy viable with any pokemon other than chi yu or no
Terraformed Hariyama killed me with close combat.
Just a general question, I guess even self explaining, but mints just work one time on a Pokemon right ? I’m always confused cause you can give ‘em multiple ones

What a great guide 😅
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can you explain the power controller thing? I don't understand how can I be AFK without clicking the controller.
You need to buy a controller with the turbo function then you just hold or tape down the A button.
How do you make a power controller hit the same button over and over again? Been trying to figure this out before I buy a power contoller.
So that's why it's called a 'gold' fish.
Does it even need the speed EVs? If you put it to lv 100 it should still easily outpace the lv70s I’d think
Noob question but what's a power controller and how would I be able to farm this overnight?
You can do the same with Flutter Mane using moonlight , max Ev in hp and special. Set up your turbo function and go to sleep.
I think you mean Moonblast. Moonlight is a healing move, lol
Fluttermane with Choice Specs works perfectly if you want 99% consistency. Only bullet punch scizor beats it unless you're lucky and don't get crit, don't get the fight itself. also fluttermane is already unlocked (should be) once you get to this point of the game
What if you remove Choice Specs? Part of this build is having it hold an Amulet Coin for that extra $
@@sock. specs is needed for the extra damage. you can run amulet coin but st the same time it's also more likely to fail
Fluttermane runs at basically 100% win rate, and money maxes out at 9.9mil. So after a day or two you have max money anyway. :] It’s easier and loses less. But I like this fish strat for amulet coin spam.
What is a great controller for the switch that has a recording turbo autoclicker? Been looking for a while and completely stumped
8bitdo is an exceptional company that have programable turbo functions throughout the pro models. I have a pro2 modeled after a snes controller with grips. Check out Wulff Den on youtube for the different types if you are curious or their website. It's a seamless multiplatform controller. I use mine across my Switch, PC, Iphone, and Ipad. Great price to quality ratio.
Quick question what controller do you use to get the turbo button?
Really any controller from Power-A has a Turbo button as far as I've seen.
Does it matter what pokemon you take out with the power items? I thought it just meant anything you knock out with the power items increases that stat while the item is held. Have I been using it wrong and messed up my builds?
Yes, because the Pokemon gives base EVs too. So it's the base EVs of the wild Pokemon + the 8 EVs from your specific Power item.
@@costanzothefcb Oh okay. Thank you for clarifying that!
