Personally, I prefer not to be the smartest person in the room. Means I get to learn. Generally I'll be the quickest to fine an efficient and effective solution, or identify a systematic problem and the ripple of its impact. My colleagues think I'm smart and I just feel like an ape picking bugs out of a log, lol. And yes I forgot to eat again and no I haven't checked the mail in a month.
I get why you think that way.
I have similar thoughts but added the point that when I'm the youngest in the room and in my hierarchical culture, more often than not even when I figured out the problems and solutions quickly, rarely anyone would listen to me and even took offense that i dare to point of their mistakes or just what needed to be fixed systematically, either at work or in familiar or closer social relationships. I wouldn't care that much had I been an outsider. Then whatever I expected to happen as the impending consequences eventually came. I wasn't the only one gave the warning, my ENTJ former headteacher and superior did, and it's frustrating that those I knew that asked her for advice didn't even try to test if her advice would work. They just ignore it and went with their ideas that later proved rather inefficient. Took years for one of them to begin to somewhat follow that piece of advice. They could have saved years following it at first. (I knew it because I live with that person and took me countless time giving the same suggestion for them to even think of trying.)
You forgot our incredibly sharp intuition that is only surpassed by INFJs, who also have dominant Ni

I find this very accurate. There's very serious pro's and con's to this. I have all the fun weird hobbies and try to get good at them. However, I get really bored at jobs. I change jobs every three years as I can't stand it anymore. I just want to something to be good and that I can grow in. I do like to socialise and be around people (the lockdown taught me that) but I do want people to leave me alone. I prefer to listen to people chat, unless it's a about mundane things like food. If I get started on a topic I love beware! I won't shut up about it. Thanks for making this video!

This was one of my favorites. Growing up an INTJ in the 70's-80s, I realized that I was different from everyone. Being now in my fifties and like you said, I can now find fellow INTJs on social media. I just now have to being a part of social media, which will probably never happen. So, I will enjoy your post isolated alone in the dark where I am the most comfortable and happy. Even though people, even my INFJ husband, do not understand that I am happy being alone and coming only when I am ready.

As an INFP new to MBTI, the description of the INTJ scares me. Part of that seems to be the insistence that INTJs are such inhuman badasses without clearly describing why. Thank you for your honest assessment. Nothing you've said has caused me to have an allergic reaction. However, I can see how we would be very different. I appreciate a lot of people who are quite different from me. They add depth and color to my life. I simply appreciate them in the measured doses I am able to tolerate while continuing to appreciate the value of my own life. It takes a lot of diverse people to make up a world.
I promise you that most of the INTJ community adores INFPs 🙂
Need time for isolation then can be the life of the party is true. Plus intjs think themselves of being smartest in the room I can relate to many things in this video. Pretty accurate bust many Intjs I have met online will say we r not life of the party but in reality we are different than those stereotypes. Thanks man keep it up.

@@imho2278 yeah happens. Well if I am at a party with people who are very close to me let's say 3 or 4 lol. I will enjoy but if it is some other party where most are strangers then yes I will isolate myself.

As an intj i dont feel lonely stating alone in class but than i think that everyone around me would think that i am lonely or something and to make them not to think that i am lonely i start talking to some people 😂 probably because my school is sorrounded by esfjs and esfps ( i really change myself alot in social situations thinking that what others would think)
I've been in many occassions where people would worry about me because I'd rather be alone. They see being alone as being lonely, which I don't a lot of the time, but I appreciate that they care enough to reach out to me out of a place of concern 🙂
Hey Jon, I had a theory that I had been playing with about INTJ's use of functions not in their stack.
If an INTJ uses Ti to internally reason something out, do you think they are genuinely using Ti, or rather are they kind of "synthesizing" Ti with other functions that they do using in their stack (using Ni to kind of pick apart Te into a logical framework).
Or another example, do you think INTJs use true Fe, or use a mix of Se (noticing the other person), Fi (using what they feel and what they know about their own feelings), and Ni (connecting it into a framework) to "approximate" Fe?
I'm curious to know what you think about this. Thanks!
Great question! I personally believe that humans utilize all 8 functions however, we only have control over the first four in our stack. The rest of the functions are like superpowers that come and goes as they please. To answer your question, I think the latter is more likely when an INTJ is consciously trying to empathize but I've been in situations where Fe instantly and subconsciously takes over control. I think that makes the most sense since people don't start controlling their fourth function until their 30s or even 40s so what time do we have to master the last four function 😅
As close to infj behaviour, I also don't prefer to stay around everyone being own company I learn myself how human physiology work to see things and behave, throw sensorys how we learn things, being analytical how much we learn better and do more better in life
I agree that life is great alone but I also learned how much better it can be with others in your life that you trust and love. Keep doing you brotha ✊

Yeah dude, we have Fi in our third stack and INTPs have Fe in their fourth stack.
Outwardly, we may initially come across as harder and more cold than INTPs due to our Te auxiliary being a sort of shield or buffer to our Fi, while INTPs openly engage with the world via their Ne and trying to connect with their Fe inferior. However, once someone gets past that Te armor (or the INTJ is generally more comfortable with letting their Fi “out”), the softer, sympathetic, personal side is then revealed. INTJs are honestly quite internally sensitive, it’s just not often directly outwardly emotionally expressed due to Fe Polr/trickster.

I am only important to you because you receive emotional supply from me. If I didn't have it I wouldn't exist to you. So me being important to you isn't your generosity, it's my payment for giving you supply.
I like how intelligent and manipulative you are, but don't confine yourself within the boxes of intj, learn about your emotions and be nice to yourself. Don't depend too much on others for emotional supply. It's okay to feel negative emotions and it's only humanely decent to consider others regardless of what you receive from them.
Seeing relationships as a transaction is something that all INTJs go through until we become more mature. It's a good call out and I hope the INTJs in your lives get out of that mindset soon.
I’ve never seen a relationship as a transaction… but that might be for some particular things that happened in my life… like seeing women do that and seeing the damage it causes.

Some part works for me, some parts dont. I have no problem with the spot light when its relevant to my areas of achievement, mostly to satisfy the enormity of my ego. Yes, id rather be admired , physically and intellectually, than in a relationship, but Fi god mode tantrum is also defn a thing. I withdraw more now and control it, but it used to be awfully undignified and destructive - but also glorious, so... yeah. Im considered very aloof and indifferent to people, am often spasmodically theatrical, but defn not the robotic stereotype that is propogated, at least as far as I am concerned. As a 20 year old, I used to take myself off to Opera and Symphonic performances and sob uncontrollably at the artistic / human beauty and profundity and insight into loss articulated by great artists. Like the rest of us, silence and solitude sends shivers of ecstasy across my skin. There is nothing in the world like returning home to the solace, calm and freedom of an empty home.

My INTJ said he isn’t cute . 😮😮 I guess that’s as honest as you can get . Smdh kind of hurt he’s the only one that said he’s not cute . but oh well . 😢 I think he was upset because we were going to go find a puppy together but we ran upon the poodle when he wasn’t with us . I think it was a form of passivity as he felt he wasn’t involved in the process. 🥲
INTJs don't sugarcoat things especially when we're younger. It's a lesson we have to learn to soften our thoughts so I suggest teaching your child now because it's going to hurt him in the long run. Good luck and even if he thinks the puppy is ugly, that won't stop him from loving it any less 🙂

Lol 😂 but then he will help me or ask what my plan is etc . He’s always supportive in his own way! I am teaching my son not to be upset by my guys blunt tone at times .he means well ! And I know he will love Sir Duke the same ! I’m an infp lol 😂
