As someone who also has alopecia, I loved this episode. Love the representation -- especially being that my diagnosis was fairly recent. I went from having a full head of hair and eyebrows people were envious of to having my hair fall out in clumps and losing all my eyebrows and eyelashes in the span of a couple months. It's a crazy ordeal to go through, but seeing Chloe rock her bald head and hearing what she had to say about hair not defining a person -- and everyone's nice comments about her -- makes me feel less alone.
for sure, i follow her on tiktok and as someone who has recently begun losing their hair she really helps me find peace in my situation ❤ i’m really grateful for her presence in this video
just wanted to point out that "being young" does not mean that you can't experience hair loss, it is not just for people who are middle-aged (which is exemplified in the video)
Trichotillomania, alopecia, hypothyroidism, specific medications… so much can cause hair loss and thinning! One of my brother’s friends had alopecia and lost all his hair in high school.

My lips have been destroyed from years of picking at them, I still have scars from acne I picked at. It’s so hard to control, especially when it’s one of the few things bringing you peace (even alongside some destruction to your body). Edit: is dermotillomania the medical term for skin picking? Well if so just know that I totally understand you on that front 💕

Genetics. My natural hair texture is dry af, so I also only wash my hair once every two or three weeks and it never gets oily. In fact, I have to apply a heavy dose of Jamaican castor oil on it every five days for my curls to look defined and shiny, otherwise my hair becomes as dry as a haystack.

Yeah, for some people their hair is just oily. Mine is. The only thing that can keep it okay for a while longer is not touching it as much, but even then that only wins me one more day of not washing it :P
Up until 6th grade I could get away with only washing every 1-2 weeks. I started to wash everyday since then for years, so if I skip 1-2 days now it will become very oily. Just try not to use a lot of shampoo, cause it will make it become more oily if you use it.
Me personally I have a really dry scalp, but no matter how moisturizing my shampoo is I still get flakes and oil from my scalp overcompensating for the dryness after a day or two. If it goes more than a few days there's a lot of build up and it's horrible. I'm so tired of hearing about how it supposedly will work for anyone. I've experimented for probably a decade with no luck.
@@megancurtis9502have you tried castor oil? I have quite a dry, itchy (and sometimes flakey) scalp and I wash my hair twice a week and try to soak some oil on my scalp for a while before those washes. I reckon it helps with the dryness a bit.
Yeah i'm the same way - i can't go more than three days without washing my hair unless i want to look like i was dipped in an oil vat. I've done all kinds of things to decrease the oil but at this point it just comes down to genetics. My dad is the same way.

I don't know why I spent the first 5 minutes believing they were 6 bald people and 1 secret haired person and I just couldn't find the haired one because all of them seemed like they were wearing wigs xD
2 weeks without shampoo will not change anything about the oilyness of your hair. It's all genetics. My dermatologist told me the only thing I could do is Roaccutane which is used for people who have severe acne.
The voting part is really hard to understand who votes out who because sometimes you dont allways remember their names, so of you could make a cool graphic that would be cool
Jubilee should add a feature where viewers can interact at the end of each round, during the voting stage. They should be allowed to vote for the person they feel are the mole like and play along while watching the video. You could also try a live video where jubilee are live steaming an episode and the viewers from home can vote and whichever person has the most votes is eliminated at the end of the time say 1 minute to get all the votes in.
I wanted to say they should've found a less famous person for the mole role because when they put a clip of Chloe's interview without a mask I immediately recognised her, but people in the comments don't really seem to know her so ithe casting worked pretty good

My friend's boyfriend had long, soft locks, and he washed them once a month. So this is not rare. I wash my thick curly hair once a week, because it doesn't make much to wash it more frequent
Idk why everyone thought it was so weird that Sean didn’t have super oily hair. Everyone’s hair is different. My mother can go pretty long without washing her hair before it looks oily, but mine looks like a wet dog within a day or two. 💀
I only wash my hair once a month too, doesn't mean i don't take care of it throughout the time it's not washed, i just have extremely curly hair and as he said, my hair doesn't get oily either, i have dry scalp, and overwashing my hair makes it worse. I wish more people were educated in the fact that different hair types call for different routines.
Mine gets oily and I have huge flakes (I think it'd genetic my mom gets it too) Even not washing it hasn't solved my issue completely. But it might be a bit better. At least until I get a shampoo that works

My friend's boyfriend had long, soft locks, and he washed them once a month. So this is not rare. I wash my thick curly hair once a week, because it doesn't make much to wash it more frequent

if the hair gets oily you need a better shampoo with no silicone and no store bought products. the best things for the hair is to take care of it
There are times when I only wash my hair like once or twice a month….it’s called ✨depression✨
Idk why everyone thought it was so weird that Sean didn’t have super oily hair. Everyone’s hair is different. My mother can go pretty long without washing her hair before it looks oily, but mine looks like a wet dog within a day or two. 💀

I only wash my hair once a month too, doesn't mean i don't take care of it throughout the time it's not washed, i just have extremely curly hair and as he said, my hair doesn't get oily either, i have dry scalp, and overwashing my hair makes it worse. I wish more people were educated in the fact that different hair types call for different routines.
Mine gets oily and I have huge flakes (I think it'd genetic my mom gets it too)
Even not washing it hasn't solved my issue completely. But it might be a bit better. At least until I get a shampoo that works
