  • Exploring Calbourne Water Mill, Isle of Wight
Calbourne Water Mill has existed for around 1,000 years and was first mentioned in the doomsday book A.D 1086. The mill is still working and has supplied flour and animal feeds to the people of the Isle of Wight for many years.
You will find museums on site, including Grandma's kitchen containing kitchen equipment through the ages. Granfers shed with tools from the past. The old bakery. The vintage television and camera room. The war museum full of memorabilia and the old fire station.
Also, feed the ducks, geese, peacocks and many other birds on the green (feed on
    sale at the entrance).
