In Great Britain this is called a cottage pie, a shepherd's pie is mad with minced lamb and potatoes. Vegetables of your choice can be added. 😋

I saw this on another channel, made it and it was lovely and held together. I used the mushroom soup as one layer with veg rather than mix it with the meat.

This is what I'm making right now. Thanks for the super easy recipe. It made my life so much easier. I'm handicapped and I still like to cook from time to time. I especially prefer home cooked meals. My husband usually helps me in the kitchen although he's not always good at it. So the more simple a dish is to make, 'I'm there' . Thanks and I'll keep watching. Please bring more slow cooker easy recipes.😊❤

Hate to be picky, but the mashed potatoes have too much liquid in them. Your Shepherd's Pie should have enough consistency hold the dish together. Also, in my opinion, everything does not necessarily need cheese on the top.The Shepherd's should be without the cheese, as traditionally fixed. It's your recipe, so do as you please. How about putting French fried onions on the top with green onions mixed into the French fried onions for color and taste?❤❤😊😊
