350hp Toyota GT86 with GReddy Turbo Kit - Drifting & Lovely Flutter Sound

Yesterday I filmed this beautiful Toyota GT86 owned and driven by the Italian and D1 GP drifter Federico Sceriffo. The engine has been fitted with a GReddy turbo kit and other changes were made by the Italian tuner ACME pushing the power of the little 4-cylinder boxer engine up to around 350hp with a 1,4 bar of turbo pressure.
This GT86 is also fitted with a Rocket Bunny V1 wide body kit.
Watch it in action on track drifting and making some lovely turbo sounds!

I LOL’ed quite hard. I know the description said drifting but it looked like he was setting up to run the corner and looked like he totally lost control. Just wasn’t expecting that, really talented.

Toyota should make the next sports car or GT86 variant come with a turbo and 350 HP factory, clearly there's demand.

+KiwiPowerNZ; Toyota/Subaru knew exactly what they were doing when they produced their respective standard model GT86/BRZ. They created an instant classic base car on which it was obvious that performance tuners would immediately want to perpetrate all sorts of engineering exquisitudes. They've successfully created an affordable cult classic which in the modern automotive world is verging on genius!

+sebaale91 Ho tralasciato le virgolette su "finti". Il motore ha 200 cv ma se vai a misurare i cavalli alla ruota sono circa il 10-15% di meno. Non è una difetto o un'inculata della GT86/BRZ. É tipico di tutte le macchine. Però non so perchè questa differenza non l'ho mai digerita molto, specialmente perchè sul libretto c'è per forza scritta la potenza "maggiore" delle due... :|
Comunque sono un altro possibile acquirente ;)

good looking car. i can imagine that's a pretty easy car to drift, the camber causes those skinny tires to only have about 90% contact patch. surprising to see narrow tires with a rocketbunny kit.

did you pair the kit with a greddy exhaust? i plan on going turbo in the future but want to do a full greddy build, im kind of stuck and dont know if the evo gt or the evo 3 is the better sounding with the kit?

What if we threw in an anti-lag with that brz?
Can a mechanic or a person with experience with anti-lag tell me the key differences the BRZ would've had as it was exiting the corner attacks. I understand that the RPM would still be higher and that the vehicle would've received higher speed as he was exiting oversteer.

@@sanderk95 if theres turbo flutter, theres no blow off valve, the pressure is forcing itself back through the blades making that sound.

I have a few questions about the gt86/brz. I know they are slow because it doesn't come with a turbo. Some people say that you should put a turbo on it, some people says don't. Is it bad to put a turbo kit on a STOCK gt86/brz? It has a 200hp. What hp should it get when you put a turbo kit on it?

i have around ten gran to spend to either turbo or supercharge it? Which is better and which will strain the motor more?
It does 0-100 in about 7.5 seconds what kind of times could i expect with a turbo or super? Im hoping it will get under 5.5 if possible..

i think if setting is right it would be good on grip race too .
this car is designed for auto cross, drift, and road racing. you can drift these stock but is alot harder. i went ot tx2k this year and there way a 400whp brz running low 11s with drag radials. these cars dont need more than 400whp. 300whp is enough to get our tires roasting and smoking mustangs and camaros. these cars are about 160whp stock. with twice the power i can do alot and 400whp is over kill. im going to spend about 6000 boosting mine. but i cant wait
Alex G My buddy and I just finished his FRS with a stage 2 fa20 motor and a turbo kit. It makes 310whp on a base break in tune. Daily tune is at 470hp at 12-13psi n is extremely manageable. Once you make 450+ you never want to go back.
Not sure if you guys noticed, but at the beginning it had stock tails, then they were red. Then stock, then red. Why?
+AMBush Drift Nice question. The event was the same, during the morning was with the stock tails and in the afternoon they magically become red..

over saturation/contrast of camera settings would do that...
I think the clips are mixed up and they sprayed them in the middle of the session.

All the comments that this is what Toyota/Subaru should produce. I hope you all know that the car would probably sell for around 40-50k.
All the car needs is one turbo. Can't raise the price by more than 10%.
