damn, this is something he's been doing but i keep taking it the wrong way and thinking that he doesnt care about me or love me just because he isnt always texting about his day regularly (which my friends deem as a "red flag"). we do chat like here and there throughout the day but sometimes it can go up to about 3 hours and ill feel anxious not being able to talk to him which causes all the overthinking...

Gotta throw this out there, I’ve also been in a couple of LDRs where my partner checked all of these boxes over a year + long distance, and guess what? He was seeing other women and not being honest with me. This happened in 2 different LDRs, one being very serious (discussing marriage and future plans, traveled to see each other regularly). Always pay attention. 👀 Sometimes these same men who are perpetually drawn to LDRs are living a double lives, and perhaps you are drawn to LDRs because you are drawn to unavailability in men or this fantasy life you’ve created through virtual experiences (our brains like to fill in the “gaps” about people we don’t know in person). The success rate for LDRs is not great (check the data), however, the best point in this video is to look for your partner making plans to end the long distance status. Meaning, LDRs should be temporary and dating should be intentional, for the purpose of determining you want to be together in person. Look for planning, clear & consistent communication, does he include you on social media, does he introduce you to his social circles and family?If you determine you want to be together, are you both moving towards making that a reality (in a reasonable amount of time, not overnight obviously). Ladies, please be careful out there. There are a lot of lovebombers and scammers who leverage long distance and our sad online dating culture as a way to lure in lonely women. I met a very decent and honest looking man on dating app.. I talked how I don't want a married man or someone hiding a woman in his life as my last 2 exes were hiding their long distance wives and I lost tremendous amount of time in my 30's. Now this guy says his last gf said she's going somewhere and she dumped him. However, by the 3rd date, I felt odd he may have a woman.. but I kept seeing him and now I'm seeing him about 20 times in 5 months, he cooks for me, he's very very affectionate, we have sex, stay over every weekend, but he never asks me to travel with him (found out he was traveling with someone else 2 months ago.. I won't say how I found out here, no, I didn't see his phone), never talks about a future plan with me though I know it's been only 5 months since we met. Most guys I meet, they ask me on the 1st or even by the 2nd date if I wanna travel with them soon, this guy I'm seeing now never asks after 5 months. I know for sure he's traveling with a long distance gf (potentially the woman who dumped him is back with him) or fiance, who knows... He says he likes Arizona and says "oh I need to go to (LA, Vegas) soon, I wanna spend more time there," but he never asks me to go with him.. when he was traveling with the woman he constantly texted me every single day, sending pics, how he misses me, how he has no interest in other woman... It's terrible.. now I like him so much and find out clearly that he has someone else.. I'm scared to further waste my time, but I have no courage to say bye to him..
LDRs don't actually make sense and are simply relationships of convenience. Everyone eventually wants someone local, and if that isn't convenient with the LDR then eventually they're going to go for the local person. Expecting anything less is naive. They stick with the LDR because it's somebody to go to and it's working when the local things aren't. For whatever reason, it's far more difficult trying to make things work locally than with an LDR. There's just more space and flexibility and tolerance with an LDR. Locally people are more afraid of drama being tied to friends and family or their home, so they reject more often. It's tragic that we're in that reality now, but it's not like it used to be. People are far more afraid to take a risk or deal with the consequences when the reward doesn't happen as expected or if there's contention. We've just become weak as a culture.

Most of these signs, my bf has already done. First he started to texted and then video calls me everyday, even when he was at work. Even if he had 5 minutes of free time from work he video calls me. He works in the military so it’s abit difficult for him. He then includes me in all his activities like when he goes fishing, he’ll also video calls me and shows me where he is and who he’s with and what’s he is doing which is really sweet and cute. Then when I wasn’t feeling well he calls me to ask me if I was doing okay, he never stopped even when I was feeling better. He shows all his friends and tells them that I’m his gf etc. Lastly he eventually wanted to meet me and planned out a day to see me and take me out on a date. He traveled 8 ours to see me, even when it was only 1 day we got to spend with each other, it was one of the best days ever for me.

The time difference between me and my partner is 7 hours. We both have busy work schedules but we make time to talk and text almost everyday. He always makes sure that he calls either before midnight or at dawn my time so I can get enough rest before work the next day. In return, I send him love notes and voice recordings or me singing love songs for him because he loves them to bits. Brian Hardwick no offense but I think this is really toxic, I wouldn’t do that to my husband even if I had insecurities. You should deal with your trust issues by having a conversation with your wife and not hack into her phone, this is invades her privacy. It’s my honest opinion no offense.
I developed an LDR with a much younger man on a FB film page nearly 3 yrs ago. He's in Cape Town and I'm in NYC. I'm not a cougar and never cared for younger men (he's an old 48, and I'm a young 71). We just clicked. We spent 7 months yakking away about books, films, music before we became intimate. I flew to meet him in person last Nov and we were shy but had a great time touring his beautiful city. When I returned to NYC it hurt to be apart so he had a flight to me in June, canceled due to Covid. We're in daily contact, waiting. His lockdown was particularly rough and he's been quite miserable but somehow we manage to keep it light. This is a test of patience like no other for me.

I am in a LDR. I am so happy you posted this video. I am mature enough to look for good qualities and effort in another person. But as a woman I have been hurt in past. Currently in LDR for more than a year (yes, because of Corona). Haven't met him yet in person but there are things he said and done that I can prove his love. 1) Family - he share things about his family. For me information about your family is very private. Yet he was able to share important facts about his family. 2) Personal Comfort - he goes way beyond his personal comfort just to make me feel that he appreciate and love me. I do hope that Corona will end soon. Once boarders are open then we can see each other. And I do hope that he is THE ONE.
I'm in an LDR for about a half year now and already I can see the difficulties that comes along with communicating and sharing experiences which are not being lived through together but seperately. The most important thing so far I've learned is to open up yourself and to be honest about your mood, your situation, your desires, your plans, your actions, your feelings and thoughts. Wether it feels positive or negative, together there is always a way to work it out because you are supposed to be a team after all. Sometimes its hard to move on when there is more dead air in the conversations or when its not really the right moment to try to make eachother laugh/feel happy. But let the mood be what it is and respect eachothers situation Also the sad moments where you want to hold eachother tight are hard because there is the distance in between. But keep telling the other that youre there for her/him in any way you could. Write a little poem, send some chocolates, or a funky letter with some silly jokes. Hold on to positive memories you have created together and re-live them together in chat. Keep naming up the things you like about the other and try to be very tactfull and considerate when talking about the doubts or issues that you have with or about the other. Open up your gate towards self-awareness in order to know what your attitude, facial expression, behavior, tone of voice, subject of conversation and even your appearance might have for an effect on the other. Try to do some out of the box thinking and get out of your comfort zone and do a crazy little silly dance or make a date to dress up with a glass of wine and candlelight on the webcam, do naughty stuff when both of you are in the mood for it and make eachother feel sexy and excited about eachother. Try to read the other a little/ or longer story before going to sleep or just during the day when he/she can actively listen to you. Try to look forward to exciting events/happenings or experiences or life goals together or at least try to live positively towards the happy moments of celebration or satisfaction that you can share. Try to sync-watch a movie/video together and pause it together when having a break so that you actually kind off see the movie together. If you go out into the nature, take a little noteblock with you and write down every single thing or moment that makes you think of the other deeply and share it and tell her/him why it made you think of the other. Share pictures, video's of yourself or your daily 'whatever you can think of' stuff. Play any type of online game together that you both like. Talk about the future together and imagine how that would be/look/feel like and let your creativity flow. And so there are many many more things to actually think of to share/do to make your relationship last and feel better for the long distance. Think of romantic ways to share your time together: youtube can actually help you ;) But most important: Keep telling that you LOVE the other and explain why! Be creative on that part and think of different ways to tell him/her that you feel love for and appreciate the little things that you both try to do or put effort into. For those in an LDR, I wish you goodluck and lots of love because thats what we are all looking for even though it might feel like going up and down a little from time to time. But thats fine. Let it be and celebrate the fact that you have found eachother and live forwards to the exciting moment of meeting again and again untill you finally find the solution/key/way to live together! GO FOR IT!!

I've never been in an LDR before, and neither does he. I never thought this relationship can be the most fulfilling experience in my entire dating life. Gotta throw this out there, I’ve also been in a couple of LDRs where my partner checked all of these boxes over a year + long distance, and guess what? He was seeing other women and not being honest with me. This happened in 2 different LDRs, one being very serious (discussing marriage and future plans, traveled to see each other regularly). Always pay attention. 👀
Sometimes these same men who are perpetually drawn to LDRs are living a double lives, and perhaps you are drawn to LDRs because you are drawn to unavailability in men or this fantasy life you’ve created through virtual experiences (our brains like to fill in the “gaps” about people we don’t know in person).
The success rate for LDRs is not great (check the data), however, the best point in this video is to look for your partner making plans to end the long distance status. Meaning, LDRs should be temporary and dating should be intentional, for the purpose of determining you want to be together in person. Look for planning, clear & consistent communication, does he include you on social media, does he introduce you to his social circles and family?If you determine you want to be together, are you both moving towards making that a reality (in a reasonable amount of time, not overnight obviously).
Ladies, please be careful out there. There are a lot of lovebombers and scammers who leverage long distance and our sad online dating culture as a way to lure in lonely women.

I met a very decent and honest looking man on dating app.. I talked how I don't want a married man or someone hiding a woman in his life as my last 2 exes were hiding their long distance wives and I lost tremendous amount of time in my 30's. Now this guy says his last gf said she's going somewhere and she dumped him. However, by the 3rd date, I felt odd he may have a woman.. but I kept seeing him and now I'm seeing him about 20 times in 5 months, he cooks for me, he's very very affectionate, we have sex, stay over every weekend, but he never asks me to travel with him (found out he was traveling with someone else 2 months ago.. I won't say how I found out here, no, I didn't see his phone), never talks about a future plan with me though I know it's been only 5 months since we met. Most guys I meet, they ask me on the 1st or even by the 2nd date if I wanna travel with them soon, this guy I'm seeing now never asks after 5 months. I know for sure he's traveling with a long distance gf (potentially the woman who dumped him is back with him) or fiance, who knows... He says he likes Arizona and says "oh I need to go to (LA, Vegas) soon, I wanna spend more time there," but he never asks me to go with him.. when he was traveling with the woman he constantly texted me every single day, sending pics, how he misses me, how he has no interest in other woman... It's terrible.. now I like him so much and find out clearly that he has someone else.. I'm scared to further waste my time, but I have no courage to say bye to him..

LDRs don't actually make sense and are simply relationships of convenience. Everyone eventually wants someone local, and if that isn't convenient with the LDR then eventually they're going to go for the local person. Expecting anything less is naive. They stick with the LDR because it's somebody to go to and it's working when the local things aren't. For whatever reason, it's far more difficult trying to make things work locally than with an LDR. There's just more space and flexibility and tolerance with an LDR. Locally people are more afraid of drama being tied to friends and family or their home, so they reject more often. It's tragic that we're in that reality now, but it's not like it used to be. People are far more afraid to take a risk or deal with the consequences when the reward doesn't happen as expected or if there's contention. We've just become weak as a culture.

Most of these signs, my bf has already done. First he started to texted and then video calls me everyday, even when he was at work. Even if he had 5 minutes of free time from work he video calls me. He works in the military so it’s abit difficult for him. He then includes me in all his activities like when he goes fishing, he’ll also video calls me and shows me where he is and who he’s with and what’s he is doing which is really sweet and cute. Then when I wasn’t feeling well he calls me to ask me if I was doing okay, he never stopped even when I was feeling better. He shows all his friends and tells them that I’m his gf etc. Lastly he eventually wanted to meet me and planned out a day to see me and take me out on a date. He traveled 8 ours to see me, even when it was only 1 day we got to spend with each other, it was one of the best days ever for me.

The time difference between me and my partner is 7 hours. We both have busy work schedules but we make time to talk and text almost everyday. He always makes sure that he calls either before midnight or at dawn my time so I can get enough rest before work the next day. Brian Hardwick no offense but I think this is really toxic, I wouldn’t do that to my husband even if I had insecurities. You should deal with your trust issues by having a conversation with your wife and not hack into her phone, this is invades her privacy. It’s my honest opinion no offense.

I developed an LDR with a much younger man on a FB film page nearly 3 yrs ago. He's in Cape Town and I'm in NYC. I'm not a cougar and never cared for younger men (he's an old 48, and I'm a young 71). We just clicked. We spent 7 months yakking away about books, films, music before we became intimate. I flew to meet him in person last Nov and we were shy but had a great time touring his beautiful city. When I returned to NYC it hurt to be apart so he had a flight to me in June, canceled due to Covid. We're in daily contact, waiting. His lockdown was particularly rough and he's been quite miserable but somehow we manage to keep it light. This is a test of patience like no other for me.

So second guessing myself out of protection is a given. But, I smiled ear to ear knowing my handsome man has been putting all of your 5 points to use since we started to fall in love. Currently in LDR for more than a year (yes, because of Corona). Haven't met him yet in person but there are things he said and done that I can prove his love.
1) Family - he share things about his family. For me information about your family is very private. Yet he was able to share important facts about his family.
2) Personal Comfort - he goes way beyond his personal comfort just to make me feel that he appreciate and love me.
I do hope that Corona will end soon. Once boarders are open then we can see each other. And I do hope that he is THE ONE.
He treats me as if i m the boss. He inspires me to follow my passion. He even let me make plans according to my wish whenever we travel together 😄

It's so helpful to know you were in a long distance relationship. Could you do a video on how to transition from long distance to living together?
I'm in an LDR for about a half year now and already I can see the difficulties that comes along with communicating and sharing experiences which are not being lived through together but seperately. The most important thing so far I've learned is to open up yourself and to be honest about your mood, your situation, your desires, your plans, your actions, your feelings and thoughts. Wether it feels positive or negative, together there is always a way to work it out because you are supposed to be a team after all. Sometimes its hard to move on when there is more dead air in the conversations or when its not really the right moment to try to make eachother laugh/feel happy. But let the mood be what it is and respect eachothers situation Also the sad moments where you want to hold eachother tight are hard because there is the distance in between. But keep telling the other that youre there for her/him in any way you could. Write a little poem, send some chocolates, or a funky letter with some silly jokes. Hold on to positive memories you have created together and re-live them together in chat. Keep naming up the things you like about the other and try to be very tactfull and considerate when talking about the doubts or issues that you have with or about the other.
Open up your gate towards self-awareness in order to know what your attitude, facial expression, behavior, tone of voice, subject of conversation and even your appearance might have for an effect on the other. Try to do some out of the box thinking and get out of your comfort zone and do a crazy little silly dance or make a date to dress up with a glass of wine and candlelight on the webcam, do naughty stuff when both of you are in the mood for it and make eachother feel sexy and excited about eachother. Try to read the other a little/ or longer story before going to sleep or just during the day when he/she can actively listen to you. Try to look forward to exciting events/happenings or experiences or life goals together or at least try to live positively towards the happy moments of celebration or satisfaction that you can share. Try to sync-watch a movie/video together and pause it together when having a break so that you actually kind off see the movie together. If you go out into the nature, take a little noteblock with you and write down every single thing or moment that makes you think of the other deeply and share it and tell her/him why it made you think of the other. Share pictures, video's of yourself or your daily 'whatever you can think of' stuff. Play any type of online game together that you both like. Talk about the future together and imagine how that would be/look/feel like and let your creativity flow. And so there are many many more things to actually think of to share/do to make your relationship last and feel better for the long distance. Think of romantic ways to share your time together: youtube can actually help you ;)
But most important: Keep telling that you LOVE the other and explain why! Be creative on that part and think of different ways to tell him/her that you feel love for and appreciate the little things that you both try to do or put effort into.
For those in an LDR, I wish you goodluck and lots of love because thats what we are all looking for even though it might feel like going up and down a little from time to time. But thats fine. Let it be and celebrate the fact that you have found eachother and live forwards to the exciting moment of meeting again and again untill you finally find the solution/key/way to live together! GO FOR IT!!

I've never been in an LDR before, and neither does he. I never thought this relationship can be the most fulfilling experience in my entire dating life. My boyfriend and I are totally in the same page, we were both betrayed before. We hate this hookup culture thing (we are so done with it). We fulfill each other's emotional needs, and we can't wait to be together.
