- Hi Guys, welcome back! In this #c4d tutorial I’m revisiting a project I created fouryears ago, but this time, we're stepping up our game with the latest version of Cinema 4D 2024.4. Unlike the previous video, where I used the standard c4d renderer and After Effects for 3D camera tracking, we'll be diving into the powerful new features of Cinema 4D's native camera tracker and rendering with Redshift.
🔹 What You’ll Learn:
Cinema 4D 2024.4 Overview: Explore the new tools and enhancements that make this version a game-changer for 3D artists and motion designers.
Native Camera Tracking: Step-by-step guide on using Cinema 4D’s native camera tracker to integrate 3D objects into real-world footage seamlessly.
Redshift Renderer: Discover the advantages of using Redshift for rendering, including improved performance and stunning visual quality.

Thank you Jamie for your video, it's a great idea to update previous video. As a small suggestion, for people who doesn't have After Effects to create the sequence, a great free software to do that is Shutter Encoder.
Hey alberchigo, thanks for the comment and that's a great tip for anyone who doesn't have AE so thanks for that also!
Great stuff Jamie!
Thanks Derek!
🎉
Thanks for sharing:)
Thanks for watching!
Hi again! I've working with your video and I've learned a lot. I'd like, as a suggestion for the future, if possible, to know how to make the integration of a object in a video but in a static camera (no need to track camera). You did it time time ago using standar render--background--standar material, etc... but i don't know how to do it with redshift. Would be a great idea for a new video, using last version os Cinema and RS. Thanks!!
Hey Alber, that is a great idea, I will certainly consider this for my next tutorial
03:20 - My god! Thank you so much for that! I've been looking how to fix that everywhere, it has been 1,5 month, and finally I found an answer! I was so desperate that I started to do tracking in blender and I hated it!🥲
Glad I could help!
Thank you very much for VFX tutorial
please make more videos on cgi ads
Great tutorial. I just had one question when I put another object like a plane, it does not stick to the pivot point it moves, plus can you make some tutorial for octane too, thank you.
Hi Vikram, thanks. I wouldn't be able to offer a solution to the issue you're having without taking a look at the project file. As for Octane, I don't have it so I wouldn't be doing any Octane tuts any time soon.
❤❤❤
Amazing
Thanks for the detailed tutorial!
But I encountered a problem when I place the rs camera inside the main camera and make settings, add an image to the background section, turn on animation, do frame detection, in general, all the same settings as yours, when playing back I still have the background static, only objects move
That's strange... Have you set the renderer to Redshift?
@@jbmocean399 yes of course, I tried different files, both png and mp4, it doesn’t help, my version is cinema 2024.4.1, redshift 3.6. I noticed that the problem begins exactly when I start adding a redshift path for the background to the camera, if I don’t add it, then I see that the camera follows correctly like a standard camera, but as soon as I add the background and click detect frame, the track points shift to space, and the image is simply static, but the 3D figures are moving
@@chestermaxlp I can't imagine what it could be I'm afraid. I have never experienced that issue before so it's hard to say. Best thing would be to send Maxon a query about it, they always help me out whenever I have a strange issue.
@@jbmocean399 I want to update my comment, maybe it will be useful to someone.
I was waiting for the release of the new version 2024.5, which contained tracking fixes. But I had the same problems described above. BUT, it turns out the solution was simply on the surface. I simply did not create a new camera and put it inside the solved camera created with the tracker, but simply configured this solved camera in the same way as in the lesson, background/animation, and it works in redshift and standard view)
@@chestermaxlp Im having the same issue. How did you end up on using the Solved camera in RS? thanks
Hello my friend, I made a motion track inside the Cinema program, and after finishing the project and making the render, all the elements changed their position, and I started working again, and then the same error was repeated, and I do not know what the problem is.
Hi, have you made sure your frame rates are the saeme in both 'Project Settings' and 'Render Settings' Have you matched up frame rates if you are using a different software for post editing of the render?
iRender uses 8 GPUs??? 3090??? 8 pieces?
Can we do this with corona 12 and c4d 2024.1 ???
I dont think it should be a problem... Can't speak for Corona though, never used it
