Hello Andrew, I’ve just finished binge watching all you videos! I’ve been off work following hand surgery and your time lapse video of the abandoned house renovation landed just in time to keep me entertained. I just had to subscribe and see what other adventures you had to share and you have kept me well entertained over the last two weeks with great content. It looks like you have gained about 20,000 more subscribers in that time and I not surprised. Keep it up, I’m so looking forward to following the renovations on your house. Regards Andy T
I agree Andy. Pause and reminisce about Burt! A beautiful dog & great companion, full of love. I even miss seeing him in your videos. See you on the next one.. ❤❤❤
Holy Cow, what rain you had. I laughed out loud watching Will and Chris leaping through the air like springer spaniels. That was so much fun. I miss Burt too. He was a wonderful companion to you and then to Will. With that said, I look forward to the re-build of your own home. I won't miss an episode that is for sure Andy. Stay strong as you move forward and hopefully no mishaps, no broken anything, not now, not ever. Good weather all around too.
Your dogs are quite funny in the way they jump around . You produce very interesting videos and the before and afters are great to watch . Portugal looks beautiful .
Can't wait to see what is to come. Some how, I got the impression the section of roof along the wall was staying. Outdoor kitchen upgrade in the future plans. In any case, I'm sure it will be wonderful when finished. Thanks for your time and be safe!
@@rusticcrow I’m sure keeping busy helps a great deal, I have a mini sausage dog 🐶 and the thought of something happening to her made it more real seeing you lose your Burt , I know it’s no consolation but he had the best life with you and you have beautiful memories and lots of shots on camera of you together 🐶🥰
Always looking forward to a new video. The sky over you is incredibly beautiful, just stunning. I love how you love Will and Chris. You have an amazing bond with them. Watching them hopping in the tall grass was very funny. They must be a great source of joy for you. I’m sorry for the loss of your sweet Bertie. Our animals are truly our family members. Have a productive week.
Must be a bit traumatizing to abandon the neat little living space you had created around the bus. Excited for the future….but exposed for now to the weather. Looking forward to seeing your plans for the new build.
Tie an old trouser leg onto the endof your rain pipe to feed into the bulky. Like your thoughts on changes. Most of the time we don't like changes. Keep up the great work.
Could you throw a couple ropes over the top of the tent, stake on either side to both reinforce the hold down and reduce the flapping of the sides? With maybe some foam pads between the rope and tent at the pressure points to avoid wear on the tent.
You can also use rope inside the tent, tied in an X, corner to corner, along each side. I've found it really helps brace the tarp from buffeting by spreading the load in high winds. It especially works across doorways helping the strain on zips and fittings
I had a polyhouse here in India where it was windy too. I used black drip lines as rope to tie down to the ground and really helped. With that you don't need any padding under it and it's robust than a rope.
Aww, Burt, I bet it was hard to edit that section for the video. Being a dog lover and having many losses of my beloved fur babies, it never gets any easier. But they bring such joy and wondermemories.. as Burt did to you. I do hope you are ok after this video.
Wendy...such a wonderful thought. Yes the little ones do bring such joy to us. As for being ok...like you and I...Andy will be ok...never quite the same after the loss of a loved one but ok...and just maybe a little bit better. God bless!
Change always seems to come with feelings and memories. But when you sort through that you can look forward. I am excited to see what you do with the house. It's great to see the doggos living so joyfully. 🙂👍👍🇨🇦
It was beautiful to see the old photos. How quick the time passes🤔 We all getting older, and from my point of view - we need more helping hands. You too, my friend. You're working too hard 😢. You have so many and so fantastic ideas, but you should fokus on planing and creating. For the really hard work - you should ask for more helping hands. Your health is much more important 🤗🤗🤗 All the best for the next projects.
Judging from all the rebuilds you’ve done and how you and James rebuilt the village house this new journey on your own home is gonna be amazing. Always thanks Andy for sharing. Stay well stay dry mate.
When your post arrived this morning, I couldn’t help but to watch it, even though I’m still binge watching your previous videos & I’m on episode 82. Your content are interesting and I love the various dog scenes of them skipping along.😊
I was so happy to see a friend show up to help you out. This new chapter will be a super satisfying one, Andy. Keep your chin up, love. You'll always miss Dear Bertie, sorry that you are feeling this pain so deeply right now, hopefully you have friends (and will and chris) to help you through. Lovely sunrise in the beginning! Thank you! Xx
I love to see Chris and Will having such a good time although I was a bit sad to see Burt. He was so loving and cuddly 😔 Wishing you much success on your new journey and looking forward to being part of it. 🥰 it's going to be amazing.
Morning, I hope the weather has settled down, do you think throwing guide ropes over the top of the storage ‘tent’ would help, we used to do that when we had extreme weather on our camping trips 🫤🤣😂
I´m a new subscriber, because I was captivated by the work you and James did on the village house; simply stunning! I can´t wait to see what you do with this home. Love the dogs, too! Best wishes.
Hello Andy, I subscribed to your channel this week, started watching your vids from the beginning and the more I watch the process of your journey the more something is stirring in my heart. I thought my life is the one I have right now, a good life but kind of a routine that could be dangerous for the adventurous soul that I once was. Thank you for sharing your life journey in a fascinating way and motivating me to still want to follow my dreams. You are an inspiration. With regards, Marcela
You never feel alone when you have dogs.. they really are man’s/woman’s best friend.. this house is going to be stunning I can see it.. if the expertise you all put into the village house is anything to go by.. 😊
i came across one of your videos a couple of weeks ago , which I find truly inspiring. You can see and hear the vision you have for your home, can't wait to see how it evolves. Congrats on everything you have achieved so far, it's amazing. I also love your dogs and how Will pretends to be a gazelle/dog/deer :D and how laid back Chris is😊 PS btw great artwork.
Earlier today I was thinking I hadn't seen one of your videos on my feed & then here it was & the sky in the intro looked just like the sky in Oklahoma City this evening. Those chopped up looking clouds remind me of poodle fur! Haha I just think you have a knack for editing! These videos are just so cool!
Nice to look back and reflect. But the future is bright and your house will be the start of new beginnings. Best of luck with the work and I look forward to sharing the journey 👍🍀🙏
I really enjoy seeing footage of Bert, I can't even begin to imagine how painful it is for you to edit his footage. ❤ Do you still have that TV dish/dome you found forever ago? I wonder if you turn that upside down and put on top of the water tank it would catch the water to funnel down better? Great episode Andy, I really enjoyed it today, it's nice to see you moving forward.
I'm always amazed at how nice and comfortable you made your temporary setting. Don't think I would have gone through that much trouble personally. But I agree, a good amount of comfort (not luxury, never cared for it) is needed if you're going to be spending months and months in there. Loved watching the boys hopping and jumping lol So cute :-)
Lovely to see the boys bounding around the land without a care in the world! Precious memories for you seeing footage of Burt too. I came across photos of our old spaniel, Tilly, with the then young pup, Monty cuddling with her, and it brought me to tears as she was such a nurturing old girl, not only with the puppy but with our girls too, waiting until they were safely home at night before she’d settle herself! Pets become such an amazing part of our lives❤❤❤ have a good week, Laura 🐶🐶🐶
There is so much potential with your house rebuild. Some quite simple projects could make such a difference in your quality of life. Good luck with it all. I'm sure its going to be great. Best wishes from Cheshire.
I am so glad that I came across your channel. New subscriber here from Georgia, USA. I am encouraged to see how much you can accomplish working all by yourself. Focus, positivity, patience and pacing. Thanks for sharing and keep it coming! ❤
Here in La Mancha, Spain, where rain is also scarce, I've seen people use a layflat hose attached to the end of the gutter and going inside tanks to take in as much water as possible. Guess it works.
I hope you survived the weekend storm unscathed. I live in Parragil and we got a little flooded. I know we are desperate for rain but that was a little crazy.
Go at a speed that makes the journey enjoyable and sustainable! You don’t have to answer to anyone. Ask for help when needed.. you can repay them with your help when they need it! You have soooo much experience!
Secure your tent with some storm straps including springs and heavy duty pegs ( preferably the ones you can drill in) Enjoy the new journey and keep up the good work 👌🏼👍🏻
Andy, you made me cry with that Burt clip, with that music in the background. Your editing skills are getting pretty powerful. I like the theme of this episode - change and moving forward.
