At times people don't notice issues with shoes because they have several pairs to choose from their collection. Those who notice things are those with like less than 10 pairs...😊 if you can afford hv shoes for different occasions.
Yep, I have about 6 pairs of casual shoes, so I feel like I wear them often enough to see wear over multiple years! But not so much trust in beating them out quickly. Do you have pairs of these Premiers?
I wear my heel boots from Thursday Boots for the last year and they hold up very well. i do take care of the them and believe its why they have lasted so long
Im subbed to your channel for the bag reviews and randomly saw this video suggested to me after watching rose anvils thursday sneaker review. Thank you so much for the tip to take out the insoles. I've had greats royales that were made in italy for years and i always found them uncomfortable or "it still needs time to break in" so I just never wore them. After taking out the insole theyre extremely comfortable for me. I think the soles increase the heel by a few mm's and it felt like my feet were constantly slipping forward on the leather. Like putting on sandals with wet feet. Thanks again for the tip!
great to hear! Yea, their stuff fits small and I'm finally coming to terms with that. This Sunday I'm actually releasing a new Thursday boots videos for their new sneakers, where basically I decided to size up and it fits better.
Even though these are sneakers, the black and old english can work with a business suit. The colors are dark and the silhouette is clean that you can get away with passing these off for dress shoes.
I know I’m in the minority here but I wish my boots stayed looked brand new every day. When they first come in they’re so beautiful and perfect and I want them to stay that way lol some leather types I enjoy the patina but some I don’t.
@@EDGlove your Thursday book sneakers reviews, I think I’ve watched them all lol. The Natural Vachetta color way definitely looks more brownish than the pinking tone the website gives it. This video convinced me to buy them just now, along with the Rhone pants
lol I have the dark brown ones my soles worn out a lot in about 1 year (it's almost gone through the sole in some spots), I don't think mine can last for 3 years, the upper remains almost brand new though (I do polish and condition them all the time); on the other hand their boots sole looks almost brand new in one year
@@Jager11 I’d probably skip these because they don’t have much because you need to begin with. So they didn’t really lose any cushioning. Thursday boots, encore and court models have more padding
I also had plantar fasciitis and was in REI shopping for shoes with good cushion and the salesperson changed my mind saying that arch support is better than cushion and sold me green Superfeet insoles which I have worn in every shoe and work boot for the last 30 years and never had foot pain again. I do stretch my calf muscle which also helps the feet.
I have a pair for about 3 years now and I hate them. The back part is really high and digs into my Achilles. I always get blisters and they often wear through the back of my socks.
The biggest thing for me with this show is that little rubber logo on the back of the midsole. I’ve had chucks and when they get worn down their logo tears off putting a hole in the shoe making it useless. Maybe Thursdays sole is rock hard and won’t wear down that much
They can, it's not too difficult. Cut the sitches, pull off the sole, replace the foam, lightly glue the new sole on and stitch it. However I'm not sure if Thursday sells the outsole or if it is a standard size that could be ordered from a third party seller.

Dood, your shoes are pretty big. Your heel is not even at the back of the shoe. Interesting fit, I guess. I couldn't wear lace up shoes that loose personally.
No, they fit fine. They’re actually a tad small. My heel slide forward in the video because I took the insoles out(to make them fit better), so my socks are on straight leather and slide a little.
@@EDG thank you for replying. I don’t consider to have a wide feet . I tough about it because of the narrow part some people complain. Do they tend to get a bit wider when they brake in?
Great review! I have their boots but never really got into their sneakers. Now I will purchase a pair when I need a new pair of sneakers seeing that they last as long as their boots and age very well.
Tony, you’re killin it on the comment game. Thanks again, hopefully I have some other good videos to help. Really appreciate the comments, it’s what helps me make more videos
I understand that both sides of the shoe will get creased overtime, but on the toe box area as well? It looks hedious when the toe portion creased up, they should hardened the front of the sneakers or reinforce it.
Their shoes are garbage now. I bought a pair of penny loafers that came with a six in scratch. When I requested an exchange they were quick to act. The second pair arrived with mismatched color and in some places no color at all. I requested a refund and so far no action on their part at all except to tell me they received my email. This has been going on two weeks. It seems like they don’t like to refund your money. It costs less for them to send you another pair of shitty shoes that probably cost them pennies on the dollar than refund $200. I’ve been a customer since their inception but no more. I’ll spend my money on quality shoes like Allan Edmonds or Bruno Magli. Caveat Emptor!!
im thinking about all black sneaker to buy,i already have the cocoa premier im interested in black vachetta but i dont know looking at your vid i think they looked cheap - ish?
Hey, thanks for the comment. Black is kinda hard to see, and my camera wasn’t the best. But I actually really like the black vachetta….it has a more matte finish with the nicer laces so it’s pretty nice I’d say. Not cheap! How do you like your colorway? I been looking at that one.

Buy a shoe horn, use shoe trees, and use a simple leather conditioner.
I should!…. But definitely won’t end up doing so

Great video, out of interest how much walking are you doing in them? Assume not much commuting etc.. it's crazy how well the sole has lasted.
Some cedar shoe trees and leather polish can keep them looking way better for far longer time than just 3 years.
Cool! To clarify, I wasn’t saying they only last 3 years. But rather, the 3 year old pair I have is in great shape with plenty of years left in them
You clearly are not walking much at all, my sole is comolrtely gone with hikes ij the heel after 10 months of realistic wear.
nope, in the office most of the time. not much heavy walking. You hiking in these or what?
