With all due respect to all other contestants that has made it through to this stage, I think this kid is a million miles ahead of others. What he's doing is not ordinary. This is classical music for crying out and he does it effortlessly.

Did I just see on an entertainment site that he was beat out by a comedian?! A dime a dozen but it's a rarity for a young man such as Malaki to have sing like an angel and singing such complicated beautiful music. Malaki should have won.

This is one of the most difficult songs any singer can ever wish to sing! The entire song is sung in head voice, the song itself in high octave and words in the verses are spoken rapidly. Very few people can be able to finish only one verse of this song and transit to the chorus without stubbling. The tendancy will be to suffocate after finishing one line of the verse and singing the other; making the four lines of the verse almost impossible to controle ones breathing. With such struggle in the verse, to amagazine enough breath to sing the chorus in a very high head voice can almost feel impossible. But this boy does it so perfectly; maintaining the controle of his breathing is a super professional way!

He's funny (at times) but, imo, if you're talking about TALENT, there are few who can sing like Malakai Byoh.
I mean, I'm considered by most I know to be naturally funny and yet I don't think it's a talent that should win a completion vs. a young teen singing with the voice of an angel.
Lost to a comedian? What a travesty, honestly. Lot’s of folks can easily become comedians, and are, but THIS GIFT that Malaki has, is a golden golden rarity and was deserving of the win.

I'm 35 and I'm in tears. I can't contain the tears everytime I listen to this.
First, he gives me goosebumps over and over and over. His voice is incredible. Second, the thing that stuns me most about his performances is the reverence he has with the audience. They want to cheer, but they realize that when they cheer, they miss him hitting those incredible power notes, so they stop. They hold their applause and cheers so they can hear every second. They know they'll miss it if they cheer for him, so they wait. Very few performers can bring an audience to reverent silence.
It's like eating a good meal nobody talks they just savor the flavor.

I’m an American that mostly listened to Oldies (50-60’s), Mariachi, Gospel and Blues for over 65 years but this Malakai has really gotten a hold of me with his other worldly voice! I’ve become obsessed looking for his music online/youtube and now listening to others in the same genre. He is fantastic and because of him I’ve listened to many of Aled Jones songs and who was unknown to me until I saw his duet of “Walking in the Air" with Malakai. Whether he wins or loses on BGT he has a very bright future ahead of him because of his talent and endearing personality! Fingers crossed for him from Las Vegas!

My goodness. Seeing that one judge, he just cant handle it. Im with him. Some music, just hits straight to your soul. Some things are so beautiful, anyone with an open heart, cant help but be incredibly moved by it. Simply amazing performance.

All i can say Malakai is you have been ANOINTED by the lord with the gift he gave you. I heard ALL your songs on the voice. And being a singer myself i just knew after the first few notes you have been touched like i was vocally. You keep doing what god gave you and NEVER lose sight of that. He gave it to us for a reason.
