Because of his first performance I now have at least 15 downloads of various singers singing Pie Jesu and have now heard of Aled Jones and his incredible duo with his younger self. I don’t listen to this type of music but Malakai has opened that world for me with his angelic voice although his voice will change in the next couple of years but we will all have been blessed with the beautiful soprano voice God has given him. Wishing him the best in his career as a singer as Aled Jones has.
Same for me, I had never given opera a chance until I heard Charlotte Church, Jackie Evancho and others. I just never can remember the names of my favorites but this one (Pie Jesu?) is one of my favorites. It is so peaceful, relaxing and emotional.

Please don't misunderstand me but I think this guy's too good for the show. He sang with Aled Jones as well as getting tips from famous people so he's already well known. I get the feeling he was asked by the producers to go on the show. Having said that, he is spectacular 👍
A lot of known acts are asked to come on the show. It’s quite common. Olivia’s mother wrote to the show, and Amanda Holden told her she was going to audition.

This is an entertainment show, not a “most talented wins” show. They’re not actually trying to ensure things are fair and the best person wins. Having said that, I know Malakai personally and I’ll tell you honestly that, compared to some of the other people on the show this year, he doesn’t have nearly as much experience. He just got lucky they booed him at the opera once.

Malakai is amazing. But you should know he is at a very good school in London, where the music tradition has been developed over many years. In charge is Scott Price who has nurtured the music tradition there for 20 years or more. Malakai's school is the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School near Holland Park.

Spectacular performance. He is now nearing the end of his career as a boy soprano. The voice is changing. No one can say what will happen next, but he is very talented and mature for his age. If he keeps studying hard he has the potential to become as great an adult singer as he is as a boy soprano.
I dont know about that,i used to sing along him but now i sing as a bass due to my voice drop but he...its been 3 or 2 years since i went from soprano to bass and broskis still sing soprano,i still see him staying as soprano,(but maybe in some years he may become a tenor),but he will definitely become a great singer.
I still sing male soprano and I am 22. He will be fine 😊

Seine Auftritte mit Aled Jones, seine Auftritte in der Oper und sein 1. Auftritt bei BGT waren sensationell. Heute klang er ein wenig heiser. Der Junge kommt in den Stimmbruch oder war wahrscheinlich sehr nervös. Er ist 13 - wie sollte er da nicht nervös sein? Er ist ein wunderbares Talent. Ich hoffe, ihn auch nach dem Stimmbruch weiter hören zu können. Alles Gute, lieber Malakai.

Every so many shows on BGT and AGT... We get to watch an already STAR as they move into there next level of life (Malakai Bayoh) is one of those people. I hope his team is making sure his future wealth is protected. I agree with Simon he is still young like a lot of the young people that make the show(still has his school studies). But I'm sure Malakai Bayoh will be a world performer like Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Susan Boyle etc... The UK, I believe has another National Treasure on the Rise CHEERS!!! And great performance!!!!
