    I like to say all foods are allowed, but not all foods are beneficial. Very similar to what you are saying and it removes the self-judgement when we do eat something less nutritional. I also don't say I'm going to treat myself when I reach for less nutritional food because I associate "treat" with deserving, self-esteem, and reward. I've had issues with food for years and have had to work on it and look at the mental and emotional components of eating.

    Now i know why i'm not able to complete my diet plans, I always used to eat outside my diet plan after like a week or so. I have been researching on how to take diet plans from 1% to 100% slowly and been reading Atomic Habits book as well.
