I'm glad I found this but I am STILL looking for a pac man game I had in 99 along with this, pac man had this super sqeaky voice and would say Yay I win! When you won. My internet sluething had told me nothing other than it never existed
Strange how i remember so many things about this game but they're all blurred from the reality of what the game actually was. Thank you, this brought some memories.
I played this game faithfully as a little kid. Looking back, my memories of this game feel like a fever dream. Like, it's how I remembered for the most part, but there's so many parts my little brain didn't save. I vaguely remember being annoyed out of my mind by the sliding level, the squirrels and birds that would kill me in the forest level, jumping from log to log in the pond level. This game remained as a dreamscape of sorts in my mind for nearly 15 years, and seeing it now as an adult brings me a comforting sense of nostalgia. Thank you.
I hear this game got bad reviews, but for me it was a super awesome game, played it a lot with my sisters, we found it quite fascinating. And it was one of the coolest things to use my then fresh 3fx Voodoo Rush video card.
To put things into perspective, Final Fantasy 7 came out in 1997 and was one of the most expensive games to produce. The graphics nowadays aged bad for FF7. The Legand of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, didn’t come out until 1998, which showed a significant improvement
I remember playing this game as a kid and just being mesmerized at how vibrant and colorful the frogs were edit: the gold/yellow frog was always my favorite
Words can't even describe the level of nostalgia that's flooding me right now. This was one of my favorite games growing up, and I'm reminded of so many great memories. Thank you so much. :'D
12 years ago. It has been 12 years since i played this game, and i have never fogotten its existence. The amount of nostalgia that is hitting me right now is astounding. I still remember those feelings in daycare, getting back from the local pool, the rush of cold air that hit me as soon as i walked through the door, the feeling of the chair as i played for what seemed like hours on end. I could go on forever about why this game is so good.
So actually, there's something a bit interesting about that. This game was developed in Europe (Sony Computer Entertainment Cambridge), which means it was originally designed with the PAL speed in mind...and it happens that the American PS1 version runs way faster because they didn't bother adjusting any of the timing. So yeah, it's not just your imagination; the bees move faster, but only because EVERYTHING moves faster. And it's really not difficult once you get the hang of it. Once you get the bees behind a log, they'll eventually just give up and go back to their hive.
this was literally the first game i ever played on my ps1 and it's still a big favorite. omg the memories, this is the game that started me on my love of gaming!
Same with me. The very first game system and very first game. I was never able to beat it because I never had a memory card. I wish I could get the game again just so I can beat it after all these years.
@@93King that\s pretty cool! I believe I was 4 when I first had the game but I remember not fully beating till I was about 8 or 9. I actually still have my disk but it's prettyyyyy scratched up
I remember my grandma used to have this for the PlayStation at her house, me and my sister could sit there and play the multiplayer for hours just doing stupid stuff. I also remember asking for my brother's help when I couldn't beat a level because he was like a pro at this game. So many memories!
God i freakin loved this game, even if it was freakin hard as fuck. I remember times when i played this game while eating Dominos Pizza. God those were magical times.
Wow! The fact that you didn't lose a life on Uncanny Crushers is unfathomable to me! That is the hardest level in my opinion (besides Frogger Goes Skiing)
I, like many others in this comment section, played the absolute hell out of this game as a kid. If this game were to ever get a decent Steam port, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
I haven't played this in about 13 years. I found the old CD when moving and wondered if it still worked. It did. Spent the entire day completing every level. I wondered if certain levels were as hard as I remembered, they were. I needed a refresher to find some of the frogs. Uncanny Crusher can suck a fat one. Still my most hated level. But thanks for keeping your deaths in the footage. Sometimes there's a benefit to seeing a seamless run, but sometimes it's nice to know that other people are having the same difficulties as you. Looking at you Boom Boom Barrel.
This is one of those games that you forgot existed, but when you pull up the memories, they are extremely vivid and feel like yesterday, even though it must have been around 2001 when I played this.
I had a dream about this game like a year ago that was so specific and bizarre. It made me realize it must've been a real thing I experienced, even though my dream was literally in 3D as if I was seeing through the frogs eyes (weird ik). I couldn't just shrug it off so I looked it up and once I saw youtube videos showing EXACTLY what I dreamed about it gave me goosebumps. Here I am again because the thought of old games deep in my memory popped up again, and here we are.
I remember this game! I lost the disc now but remembered some of the levels. The caverns level freaked me out and the sky one was so confusing to me (I was like five or six when I first played this). Thanks for finding my childhood!
Over 15 years ago I first played this game. PS1 was when I first played Frogger (3D of course). Preciate the walkthrough mate. I relived the most important part of my childhood.
Incredible--I never got past the final air level so definitely never saw the end levels. Ended up ripping the soundtrack though. Such a great time playing this game and multi-player with my cousins.
Oh, how I wish I could somehow find out how many hours I put into this game! Alas, that would require access to my Windows 95 desktop 😅 The last level set I remember is the sewer/toxic waste one. I never finished this game, sadly. I'm so glad to have found this upload!
@@MrEightThreeOne A lot of projects from people I met on Twitch. Regarding the questions I asked you 2 years ago, here are the answers: 1. It is possible to hop on a cliff ledge on Mower Mania short of the start target; go left of the mowers then when in the safe spot down, Super Hop 2. You can jump onto the Logs on Bow Wow Falls and Bow Wow Revenge on the Waterfall without losing a life, but it is very hard to pull off 3. When you jump off the Ducks on Time Flies after the platform to the frogs, you don't lose a life; Instead you wrap straight to the blue Frog 4. It is the black crows on Time Flies that have a unique SFX 5. The 2 levels NOT played during attraction/demo mode are Tropical Trouble and Frogger goes Skiing 6. The last part of Canopy Capers was cut off on PSX , in which the "RIBBET" is removed at the end before the song loops 7. You can ride the Crushers on Uncanny Crushers

This is the game that sees people say Dark Souls is hard than asks someone else to hold its bear.
I remember when I was young and I was at a social group and one of the staff tought me how to play frogger, then I expressed my love with this game and mom bought it for me :) and I played it endless hours enjoying the levals. Then I remember growing out of the game. Then mom got me Frogger 2 and I played that instead until I got bored of the game a few years later. Now at 16 years old I long for that childhood
ur still a kid come on now hell enjoy ur childhood as ur still a child
I loved playing this as a kid, but I had no idea it was released in 97. I was born in 2004 and I just remember always asking my mom if I could play the "frog game" when she was done doing whatever. God the nostalgia
I was super good at this game! Plus the soundtrack is amazing 👏
When I saw the logo i had a huge blast from the past and I almost paralyzed myself in nostalgia
Nostalgia is addicting
honestly this makes me a genius compared to what i am now. i did this so easily as a kid yet it looks so hard now
I loved this game so much!!!
Played the demo of this game at about 10fps on my 486 back in the day. Thanks for uploading!
This brings back memories, nice dude! :)
As an American who now lives in Bangalore India, this was excellent training for learning to cross the street here.
found a frog on my balcony tonight...made me think of frogger
Wow this reminds me of when me and my late brother used to play (I was like 6 at the time). Brining back memories I’ve forgotten about :) ❤️
We literally use to have battles on here to see who got the mission done faster . Damn these was some good days
