I think cause it appears to be a smaller PPV and the matches are pretty easy to predict.

Damage control loses by dq ,then they go on tv n say the champs only hold the titles via dq. Then for the next ple you do jade Bianca vs asuka n sane in a no dq hardcore title esk thing n then have them have a crazy match ,then slowly build the team up ,have them end up with a super powers esk implosion then have them main event a big show.

@@stevenjoseph6048 because Cody is the part of the script he is agreeing to use his dad name in storyline just because his opponent are telling that doesn't mean Cody didn't agree on using dusty name so yeah there is criticism. Cody is already top face and bigger name he can easily avoid his dad name to run his every feud but he technically never did that's why his dad name is mentioned everytime.

I think Jey should win because how many times is he going to get titles shots just for him to keep losing and if he loses then what’s the point of having Jey going after titles and Jey is a bigger star than Damian in my opinion and Jey deserves it

I mean we less than a month off mania most of those cards usually are predictable, but as long as the matches are fun and its a good time i wont trip

Sometimes predictable us neccessary in order to get to the next step. As long as the show is great I'm fine with it. We might get Jacob at the ppv.🤷🏿♂️
Just rewatched this video and like always you did great discussing each match. My main question for you is, if you are getting tired of Dusty getting brought into every Cody feud are you getting tired of the Bloodline storyline? Do you think they should have started a new faction or even just be a tag team? With Tanga Loa added now do you think this was the best way of debuting him?
i was getting tired of the bloodline for a while. even last year it felt like at times spinning their wheels. Now with Tanga Loa we can and paul heymans reaction to everything now its starting to come together.

Belair/Jade go over even though I agree that its too quick. I'd love to see them lose, jade get frustrated and start the Jade/Bianca feud.
Bloodline goes over and I agree that bringing Fatu in would be the way to do it. KO probably eats the pin.
Bayley wins and Naomi eats the pin fall. That protects Tiffany and lets her say Bayley never beat her.
Priest wins for sure and maybe because of Bloodline 2.0 interference.
Cody definitely wins clean. Not sure what's next for AJ though. I like his heel work but he seems like a placeholder for everyone he gets into an angle with.
I wanna see either Jacob or zilla or both debut in backlash to complete the new bloodline causing them to win the match
I was skeptical on Bianca and Jade winning, but then I thought about something. We know after their stories, neither Bayley nor Cody is losing their belt and Priest will keep his till Clash at the Castle when he drops it to Drew. If Jade and Bianca lose, no belts change hands. That is what makes me believe they win
Cody vs AJ Should be a lot of fun. I hope they build to another match and have it be really vicious. Love Cody, he's my favorite wrestler right now but he needs to have a bit of an edge and a mean streak. Nice guys finish last. Jey vs Damian Priest? tell me your a consolation title without saying you're a consolation title lol.

@Assemble my friend when it comes to backlash it dose feel pretty filler but a lot of is because there isn’t really a good hook or a reason to watch backlash unless you got free time to kill

They are working priest out of Judgment day, especially by bringing rey and LWO to raw and Dom talking to Liv….i expect Priest to have a good feud with Finn Balor to bring Balor back up where he belongs, and because it is already fueled by their history in the Judgment Day. It will lead to Priest and Rhea having runs as faces, and after parting from Judgment Day, perhaps you get Priest into a program with Gunther.
I also don't want to watch four matches within a 4-Hour time.

Honestly this backlash seems underwhelming. I get it, it's not one of the bigger ple or ppv whatever you like to call them. But still most if not all the backlash after wrestlemania were pretty good.

I think the fact every youtube thinks everything is predictable and everyone thinks everythin is obvious means... theres gon be ONE surprise. My pick for the surprise if Tiffany winnin by pinnin Naomi. You can have her lose the title to Bayley soon after. Oh btw Backlash is in my city (so they better not be 100% predictable !)

Personally, I have always found the show right after Wrestlemania to be predictable. If someone just won the belt at Mania, they likely won't lose, otherwise why give them the win at Mania? It could happen, but not likely. Champions will likely retain. As for rivalry matches, those are a toss up, but many rivalries going into this show either feel like a quick one off or haven't gotten enough build yet to be super interesting.
It's hard to book right after Mania. It's like starting a new season of a TV show. It takes time for them to build and grow the new storylines and champions, so the early shows are a bit predictable/smaller in scale. Just my two cents. Doesn't mean I'm not excited for the show tho lol.

I also think calling Cody 'boring' is stupid after a MONTH (yes please stop referencing Dusty) also Damien needs the opponents to make his reign credible (no JD interference the first match unless it's leading to JD breaking up/Priest leaving)

I'm not going to bother to watch this video, but I stopped in to tell you that it's only predictable because you pay attention to all of the news. I have found myself enjoying wrestling quite a bit more now that I do not keep up on wrestling gossip. So when something happens on tv, it's actually a surprise and actually interesting. There is such a thing as knowing too much. I would advise you all, if you want to truly enjoy wrestling like you did when you were a kid, stop paying attention to wrestling journalists

@AssembleShow I figured I might be able to solve your problem of backlash being predictable. If you weren't paying such close attention to everything outside of wrestling that goes along with wrestling, (backstage politics and such) it might be more of a surprise what would happen. I mean stuff like contract negotiations have effects on who will win and who will lose. But if you have no knowledge of those contracts, you won't really have anything spoiled for you. You see what I'm saying?
