Raw's draft was way better than Smackdown draft to be honest
Both were trash and SmackDown mostly got jobbers and lower mid card in main draft except few like Owens, naomi, Tiffany etc. While raw not only get great pics but better NXT stars like ilja, Lyra and dijak then bron breaker into the mix

Don't say aj styles he is just there in wwe to lose against top guys and future talent to elevate them, la knight is big name but currently at mid card scene, logan Paul is huge attraction, Bobby is in the same boat as aj to elevate others, so what stacked roster you're talking about. Except randy or la knight there is no legitimate threat for Cody Rhodes on SmackDown
I didn't mind the draft. Nothing too exciting, but if there was too much moving around and you basically end up with Raw on Friday nights and SmackDown on Monday nights.i do think some interesting things could happen with the "new" rosters.
It’s simple…draft selections SHOULD NOT be used on talent that’s not on the move.
They should make the draft more realistic. GMs should sign superstars to 1, 2, or 3 years and after that is up, then they go into the draft. They draft should only draft free agents or NXT superstars. This makes it even cooler if a world champion becomes a free agent and gets drafted to a new brand.
I like this idea, you could even get some people threatening the GMs if they don’t let them off their contract

Don't write off kross feuds as nothing man all of his feuds have caused change in the characters he's feuded against afterwards it's really interesting when you think about it

SmackDown got more trash picks on Monday lol most of them were jobbers and lower mid card. Even raw took better top NXT talent than SmackDown
Idk why, but I can't convince myself to buy into Karrion and his crew.
Does anyone else think it’s weird that they do 4 picks back to back with no time in between? Theres no illusion of shoot Raw picked the guy Smackdown wanted when they do 4 picks in the span of a minute.
This is one thing about the draft that I ask often.
I like raw picks
There were defo some highlights from the draft with picks from NXT but I honestly feel like they didn’t even need a draft because like you were saying in the video a lot of people didn’t change brands… there were a couple of picks here & there that changed but it could’ve easily been etched into a storyline of superstars being given new contracts…
Drafts in the past were fun because lots of people would change brands & there would be an element of surprise to it… this draft just felt almost pointless
I thought the draft really boring
A draft where 90% of people don't- get drafted(???)- seems counter intuitive.
They also had an after hours draft online on both nights. That’s where most got “drafted.”

They need more NXT guys to be draft on SmackDown as well after SummerSlam atleast
Personally Piper & Chelsea and Candice & Indi should stayed on RAW. I agree with the women having a midcard title, The Kabuki Warriors and The Witches moving over to RAW was what I wanted. But they did refer to them as floating champions on RAW, and that's disappointing. Because what I would liked to see was the Women's Tag titles become exclusive to RAW, there you go RAW midcard women's titles already done. Then on SD you could introduce a Women's United States Championship (since the US is SD's midcard belt, makes sense that title is the same as Logan's).
You could had a lot more singles women on SD since they have aWWE and US title, meanwhile RAW could have a bit of a smaller singles division since it only has a World title but you could really loaded up RAW with women's tag teams.
The reason I had it this way and not the tag titles going to SD, I'll be honest I like the IC title more than the US title, I rather have a Women's IC then a Women's US. BUT it'd be more practical to make the tag titles exclusive to RAW because of 3 hours, RAW got more time to feature more teams and grow that division. SD is only 2 hours and is better suited to having a Women's US title rather than the tag titles in my opinion. So that's the reason why I vote Tag for RAW only, and US for SD.
But seeing as WWE shipped a few teams over to SD I guess the Women's Tag are going to remain floating titles which, meh. More of the same basically, barely featured and used on any show needed to fill excess time. So, yaaaaaay 😪
I thank monday's draft was better then friday's draft because monday was 3 hours long . more then smackdown because is 2 hours long
Cm punk / Drew chasing him was funny but overall it was pointless , I definitely feel he’s loved by the locker room overall and definitely by fans even with the afterwards with the cm poop sign and he probably made fans for life
I thought night 2 was a bit better. Some factions and teams moved like LWO, Final Testament, #DIY, New Catch Republic. I was extremely happy that IIja, Lyra and Dijak got called up. BTW Punk trolling Drew was so good 👏👏
WWE has done a terrible job making anything believable in the past 15 years

Now if they had just used the " from this brand to the same brand" changing it to actual changes even if like mid card people.
Just to freshen things up instead of it feeling pretty much the same.
Liv for example ship her to smackdown. But she still has the story with rhea, Becky etc. As she's the " crazy revenge" person. You have her invade raw to always menace them while also having a story on smackdown. Specifically cause it goes with her gimmick.

I think they should do periodic trades, some announced, some surprises.
Make “The Draft” an NXT pool only - each brand pick 3-5 to call up.
SmackDown needs more NXT top guys in call up this year after SummerSlam atleast
Thought the presentation was good but it could be better
Start the Draft in Raw Round 1, Round two should be held on NXT round 3 smackdown, has to who picks first , they should bring back Bragging Rghts if not a PLE and least have it as a Mach type at Survivor Series . Winning brand gets 1st pick at the draft the following year. Who ever don't get drafted goes to NXT
And Champions and Championship stay on that brand. Don't draft anybody that isn't a wrestler.
Also draft new superstars , returning, factions , and NxT call ups , make more like the NFL, NhL, NBA draft .
And if you want shake things up make trades and announce them at the draft . Also have separate rounds for Faction and teg Teams , and if want new or different members of the FACTIONS brake them up before hand.
Also side nor don't do War Games every year only when the story needs it.
Best thing about the draft was the NXT call ups and seeing the kings of hardcore Dudley Boyz
Don't really know what all the crying is about. That was a relatively fun episode of RAW. Draft was pretty mid but there were some great picks.

A tremendous athletically stacked team with Hayes as the leader/brains, Alexander/Adonis as the overconfident cocky tag team, and Crews as the big man enforcer... 😎
I really enjoy night 2 of Raw, a lot of NXT superstars came up and the matches on the show were great.
The draft itself was boring as hell. I wasn't expecting much but it was bland.
Whole thing felt pretty uneventful, but I think Trips sneakily booked those call ups and they’re going to mean a lot more than people currently realize.
For me on RAW Punk was hilarious & I am EXCITED to see Lyra, Ilja and Blair get called up!! Huge fan of all 3!!! 😁 Oh & Howdy is on his way ...in some form... 🤷🏻✊🏻😏
I wish NXT could make draft picks. Especially if they partner with TNA or something.
It was better than Smackdown. But... I believe the draft style should be like NFL/MLB/NBA etc. Only draft NXT superstars during night 1 & 2 of the draft. And have off-season trades amongst main roster talent between brands on the same night 1 & 2 of the draft. 6 rounds NXT draft picks (3 per night) and the rest of night 1 & 2 can be trades displayed.
We didn't get Perc Gable to Smackdown but we got The Creeds to RAW , and after Alpha Academy losing back to back last night we might just get our Team Gable , especially with Kurt wanting to be Gable's manager
What i'm really hope with Apollo is they get him joining The Pride. MVP tried to recruit Apollo with the Hurt Business but it never worked out. Maybe Lashley could do it here. He'd be a good fit and they need that midcarder. Of course they can always recruit Carmelo instead. Lashley and Street Profits did have background segments with him in NXT.
DIY going to Smackdown works better. They are more likely to win the titles there.

I thought it was really a big letdown. Nothing exciting about it at all. A lot of the roster stayed where they were.

As someone who doesn't see the purpose ind the "brand split" or "brand extension" or whatever you like to call it, the draft is nonsense to me, to begin with.
There was a time the weekly shows had the names "Superstars" and "Challenge" and eventualy there was a show by the name "Monday Night RAW" starting.
WWF/E didn't do such a thing till the time Vince has bought WcW. And why? To give the fans some sort of "Monday Night Wars". In fact the first version of that brand split was former WcW wrestlers against WWF wrestlers. And that is now what is the "brand split" or "brand extension" today. I know some people like it. I don't as I don't get the purpose. That fake competition serves nothing plus it limits the show as they can't just use a wrestler from the other brand.
But if you think that more wrestlers get injured, which I don't hope, they would have to shift some over to the other show, anyways!
And for what I know the wrestlers don't habe a strict RAW or SD contract. They have a WWE-contract and work at the show they get told to.
Just stop that split, unify/get ridd of som championsips and let the champions float between the shows! I think that would do much more for the product!
They really need to go back to the old draft format and only announce picks that are moving brands. And explain the logic behind it. Since they introduced this format back in 2019 it's never made sense to me. I don't think they have ever actually explained how it works in kayfabe. We're led to believe it's all done by trades by the GM's. But if that's the case it makes the GM's look stupid. Even Pat McAffee had to point that out. Raw got 2 picks and smackdown got 6 picks in one round. That makes Adam Pearce look like an idiot. And if it's just the GM's trading then why have a draft? They can trade any time so what's even the point?
I thought it sucked. Might be the worst draft WWE has done. I liked the match outcomes that determined who went to what brand. They need to get rid of announcing the talent staying on the same brand.

Ding Ding Ding... you hit it on th head..I been saying this since before Friday's draft.. what were people expecting? It didn't have any choice but to be dull and I could tell you that once they announced you could only draft from half the roster. Then they doubled down on the non excitement issues when they announced that the champions were protected.. typically your champions are your most exciting and entertaining names.. that's about 10-12 people.. taking all that into consideration.. what were you expecting

I'm not having high expectations for the draft no more.
I just wish during the Draft people actually moved shows. Most of the picks stayed where they were. The Drafts should be treated like "steals".

I think people jump the gun yes it’s predictable but it gives triple h the chance to build his stories and his version of wwe .. Give it time and I bet this new era is the best one yet or at least in awhile plus injuries don’t help ..
I think they need to drop the whole roster "draft thing". Only a few teams and superstars actually switched. So just go back to the superstar shakeup format or the "random pick" format. Where they only show the ones that are moving. When 90% of the draft is people staying on the same show it takes a lot out of it. But if you only show the people moving as picks it would be more interesting.
WWE'S draft is a major joke the only reason I watch is because it's great to see the Legends and maybe just maybe one day the New talent from NXT will dethrone a main roster spot that has been there long over due aka needs to reinvent themselves aka New Day, Randy Orton , The Miz, Brock Lesner. From years past it seems that the Draft only lasts until Summer Slam if that until trades are made or they just do put talent where ever they want year after year.
I think the street profits are now called the pride. Stereotypical, yes but normally being black I wouldn’t care(would kinda be cool tbh i like how the do the power fists) if hadn’t also watched triple h abuse booker for months and then take 40 seconds to pin him when I was a kid or the clips of what he did to mark Henry. I just hope lashely, Ford, and dawks made that decision on their own and it was HHH channeling his inner Vince

If a draft doesn't include a change, then you don't even need to put people in the draft. I find that completely pointless. You don't say the player is now moving from team a to team a, that doesn't make any sense. Then say we're extending the contract with...

Why do a draft if youre just spending the time drafting people to the show they're already on. There were no surprises and no major stars moved, just a few tag teams swapped and NXT call ups.
I don't think it was boring but I do like what bubba ray had to say about how it should be a "WWE Shakeup" night one and an actual NXT Draft on night 2. That would be cool
Overall, it was okay. I'm interested in rather or not they'll commit to the draft this year. I don't wanna see Raw stars on Smackdown & vice versa. We in a new era so I'm optimistic for the future

They should include trades for superstars throughout the night in addition to the Draft. That could make the show a lot more unpredictable.
They would have been better off drawing up a trade storyline, they were obviously happy with the rosters in the main, but the way they did the draft with the pick orders and rounds was just nonsensical and actually comical over both nights.

Raw night 2 sraft started out bite sloe but though picked up and though draft on raw last night was better then draft they did Friday on smackdown as nxt call ups daring nigh 2 made me happy with nigh 2 draft on raw.

Bring back the old drafts where teams got split and it was shocking were some went like triple H to smackdown
