the hype for creamy man's return was higher then for starfield itself, i was jumping up and down in my chair when i saw him running at you with that goofy ass grin
Been genuinely enjoying these. I like how you get excited about every detail of the world and scour every piece of lore with such profound appreciation.
Starfield has returned to the system of Oblivion when it comes to stealing items, so holding an item by pressing the interact button on it is also considered theft by the game, which is why the UC security officers attack you when you picked up the football. It is the compromise they had to make to prevent people from pulling the stuff they usually did in Skyrim and New Vegas.
Yeah and just because it isn't realistic doesn't mean it's a bad design choice. Honestly I kind of prefer it that way, even though in skyrim I do the same thing constantly
@monadolifesaver5613 in fallout 3 and oblivion, if you tried to grab an object and move it, the npcs would think you were stealing it an attack you on sight. In new vegas and skyrim you can grab items and move them to a location where npcs can't see you steal them without being caught, that's the main difference with the stealing systems
@@NoMaloneUnturned2 I found that out the hard way when I replayed Oblivion after more than two decades of having last played it and I tried picking something up because I had forgotten everything, only for the NPC and the guard to try and murder my Dunmer for the crime of touching a scroll. And then in Starfield when I picked something up to put it back where it was supposed to be, only for all of Akila City to come gunning for my bounty hunter.
I think Adoring Fan has weightlifting just to be a better mule... but it is nice to think that perhaps he felt reverberations from a different plane's Adoring Fan being small and wimpy, and decided to roid up to compensate.
Someone did a meme between the two versions. It brings back a lot of nostalgia to see the Adoring Fan again. I had a lot of fun with him on my Crimson Pirate run. He responds to your different faction choices and landings.
I can’t stress this enough but I prefer when you skip the main story for all the side content it makes it feel like I’m watching someone play a Bethesda game
no worries, i intend to do absolutely everything in this game before i stop making videos for this playlist. idk if you're a newer viewer or not, but the skyrim playthrough i wrapped up just a month before starfield came out lasted for almost 3 years irl and just over 500 videos lol
@@LyleShnubYea I can’t lie, that is mad. I love the way you play these games, though sadly I tend to slightly metagame on my own playthroughs cause of lack of patience/imagination (Gotta love ADHD). Keep up the good content though, guy.
Oo, Hard Times... I'm glad to see that in the future, Dusty Rhodes' promo is treated with the leatherbound tome respect it deserves. I vote for shirtless cowboy. I've never heard of the spoon thing but I have see collectible shot glasses and t shirts. Spoons are frickin weird. Sara reminds me of Piper for Likes and Dislikes. Lockpicking, sneaking = fine. Murder, stealing = NG. I wonder if the Adoring Fan can be offended. I think the 1 thing he was good for in Oblivion was carrying a torch. Wonder if he has similar options now.
Newman and Dodgson! Both characters portrayed by Wayne Knight and Cameron Thor, being the second the guy that bribes Knight's carachter in Jurassic Park to get sensitive info about the dinosaur DNA. Don't know if it was intentional, but rang a bell for me
Holy cow... I can't believe you called it so precisely with the Adoring Fan when you were in character creation... You're a wizard Lyle! Keep up the great content!
I've got to say you freaking hilarious, 😂 you decided to hook up with the adoring fan and taken for a ride, I played Oblivion so far I think only one person I've seen do a playthrough has chosen the adoring fan as one of their traits or whatever... A lot of people choose the wanted trait... I can tell this is going to be a long and epic adventurous wild funny playthrough of starfield...I'm in!
i looked up and read about Vasco's namesake, the portugese explorer, since Livingstone called the historical figure "flawed" in his journal... damn bro but flawed is an understatement that guy burnt a whole ship of muslim pilgrims (including children) to death even when offered ransom
I'm not sure if it's just me but starfield is completely unentertaining to watch. Yet I come back for the classic Shnubbing. You're doing wonders for my anxiety Lyle, thank you for being the awesome content creator you are
@@Snippyyy Vasco doesn't care either I believe, since in the previous episode where Lyle accidentally threw a grenade in New Atlantis and the guard started to attack him Vasco helped him instead of abandoning him. Pretty sure Vasco and Adoring Fan are like the Dogmeat of this game, in that no matter what type of person you are you always have them to follow you unconditionally, though I haven't played the game THAT much yet so forgive me if im wrong.
Huan would have made a great companion for a grey or black hat character. The Adoring Fan is fun but he's living in his own pocket universe when it comes to your villainy.
Lyle, if you want to do everything in this game, then you should wait until the final episode of this series... and then you have to kill the creamy man.
he's from the hero worshipped trait you can pick at chargen. they showed him off during the starfield direct, which i may have watched a few dozen times before launch.

the Adoring Fan's voice reminds me of Cicero from Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood 😂

The Adoring Fan as a hunky shirtless cowboy is a pretty incredible evolution of his character.
hahahahaha i died of laughter over the reuniting of the adoring fan. the voice actor really gave it his all, too.
