Great video, just bought a set myself, not used yet but really useful to get your informative overview.. I agree seemed a no brainier good build quality and a upgrade for me from some old NGT buzzers.. hopefully fishing again soon... cheers
I know this is an old blog Steve but just to say Sonik have the best ever customer service I've ever dealt with mate. They are so helpful and honest. Any problems with them mate just get straight onto Sonik themselves. Nice alarms, mate of mine got them.👍
pukka alarms a couple of my mates used them before lockdown .And two of them had txi delks for a couple of years and swapped over to these.the only snag one of them said was that the battery life only lasted three days in france before he had to get new ones .However he bought duracell industrial and didnt change them over three 48hr sessions so far before lockdown.
Yes mate i know, but unfortunately i can't afford them, gonna give the soniks a good go, they look really good, but time on the bank will tell, think i may miss my delks for a while though!
Hi Darren, personally I dont use the night light feature so I dont know of top of my head I would need to check instructions (i like everything dark in the swim).
If you press the M button, the lights flash indicating it is on and this lasts for 30 seconds, you do this when you are setting the bobbins so the alarm does not keep beeping and stops annoying anglers nearby.
Hi Tim, its a bit fiddly, hopefully you still have instructions, i found i had to reset the light a few times before i got the synchronisation of colours I wanted. Sorry cant help more than that, good luck!
Hi mate, really like them,i used cheap batteries first time out, they lasted a three or four days, changed to top of range ever ready and done about 8 nights so far and still hoing strong. Great alarms, and really like the bivvy light too, perfect for reading, rig tying etc, and on low setting will not upset the neighbours!
Carp Bites oh that’s ideal!! Yeah Iv gone a brought the Durecell 900mah rechargeables so il be seing how long they last I never do anything more than 2 day session anyways 😊
Really pleased with them, always carry spare batteries though - I have found them to last about 3-4 nights before needing to be replaced. Obviously this could add up depending how often you get out, and if your fishing every week may be worth looking at delks or fox as the batteries last for ages in them (my old delks batteries lasted at least a season!). But battery use aside they are a fantastic bit of kit.
I’ve just purchased some which arrived today and first impressions I’m very impressed with them. I’ve never used alarms before so for a first set I think these will be more than acceptable! I couldn’t afford delks but I’m glad I’ve chose these. Your video helped so thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Has anyone got a review after long term usage of these alarms. I’m thinking of getting some and really want to know if there any good. I bought the nash s5r and in my opinion I think there crap as they don’t last
@@oliverclarkson1403 Nonsense mate, I used some cheap batteries when I first got them and the battery life was really bad, since changing to Duracell - like the advert says - they keep going - think I have only changed the Duracells once since last year! but I am not out doing 48hrs every weekend - and I do always make sure I have spares on me just in case. All in all I am really pleased with them check out my vids to see them in action.
Well I'm still using them and unlike the delkims I have, they have never let me down, just make sure you use good quality (duracell) batteries and they last a decent amount if time.

They do look really good, I know there not the cheapest, but by no means the most expensive, good luck when you get back out. 👍

Hi Paul, hopefully i won't need their services, buzzers working well for me so far, but good to know, cheers mate.

RX+ are superb mate

Morning fella. Could you possibly show how to activate the night light feature
Hi Darren, personally I dont use the night light feature so I dont know of top of my head I would need to check instructions (i like everything dark in the swim).
What does it mean wen they flash for a few seconds with no sound
If you press the M button, the lights flash indicating it is on and this lasts for 30 seconds, you do this when you are setting the bobbins so the alarm does not keep beeping and stops annoying anglers nearby.
Iv just got these and can't seem to sync to the light.. can get one to sync but when I try the others they won't sync
Hi Tim, its a bit fiddly, hopefully you still have instructions, i found i had to reset the light a few times before i got the synchronisation of colours I wanted. Sorry cant help more than that, good luck!
@@CarpBites Yeah it's fiddly alright!! Lol... finally worked it out. 🤣🤣

Still really pleased with them, going strong in all weather's!
@@CarpBites what about batteries life because apparently it only last 3days
@@CarpBites also what's the difference between them and sks is it worth extra 60?
