This channel gave me the confidence to take on a car restoration myself. I pulled a junkyard mk1 miata and ive already pulled the engine on it. Right now im trying to get the right equipment for sandblasting. Thanks for putting out content that shows how attainable this kind of thing is.

As soon as the panels arrive from E30GarageNorway and are welded on. The body work will then get done and painting will be next. Not too long in the grand scheme of things.

At 10:22, are they brand new headlights or are they the originals? been trying to find a decent set of new headlights for my e30. Love these build series! they inspire me to go outside and fix bits on my 320i haha.

My E30 M3 used to puke oil out the oil pressure sending switch. It would happen about every 20k miles. Replace the switch and it’s oil tight. I put 100k miles on her and never dropped any oil other than the sending switch.
The workshop manual you use, on your video it looks very comprehensive and gives you the ability to look through different sections , almost like a portal. When i go onto emanual online, it just gives a pdf option? What access do you have to give you the information as per this video at 4:00 inot this video?

He cut corners everywhere. Didn’t mask off the wheel wells and didn’t remove the hood and trunk lid and paint them separately and do the engine compartment and trunk. If you’re going to strip the car as far as you did why not have them do it right?
Hi, fw 1421, in reality the bodywork shop disassembled the hood and trunk lid when the interior of the trunk and engine bay was painted then put back on when the outside got painted, I think the shop thought it would be the best way to paint it. all this is not shown in the video, but I think they are a good bodywork shop.

All the parts were good but the frame had some problems so I'm getting another to transplant the engine into
top tip, when pulling off tape/vynil wrap, never exceed a 90 degree angle when pulling and stretch it a bit to help loosen it.

Be careful with headlight tints from ebay, I tried a few sorts. They are so thick that if you're unlucky, the heat from the bulbs might crack the lamp
