Do you ever wish you could extend your PC's screen to another device besides a TV or monitor? With the One UI 3.1 update, your tablet has that capability! As long as your laptop or computer has Windows 10, you can mirror its screen to a Galaxy tablet. You can even control your computer from the tablet's screen.
Note: This feature is only on Galaxy tablets running One UI 3.1 and later, and PCs running the latest version of Windows 10.

Nah it's going to lag, the processor in the tablet is bad.
just found this video and it work for me! Btw just asking is there any option to adjust the aspect ratio for the tablet screen? So that it won't shows the 2 black bar up and down
You can choose Display Resolution for both of the Display as per need like different resolution for both display and check which seems good but windows does not have any settings for Aspect Ratio.
does the laptop HP Pavillion not connect? My computer can find my Galaxy A8 but it cannot work.

My problem is only my samsung tv is seen as another device.. I want it to be my pc monitor.. which I can't connect.. no amount of tapping on the smart view allows it to. Help!

After upgrading to One UI 5.1.1, currently Smart View can no longer be used on dual screen, do you have a new way to use dual screen on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8?
The method has actually changed, now it has to be done in another way.

I just bought an A9+ tablet precisely to use as an extended monitor of my PC for one to one presentations. But I just can not make it work. It may be that the Smart View version it displays its newer (vdersion 8.2.22.24) and they just locked that option

Yes, this has been patched in the latest update. Samsung has done this intentionally, but you may use any third party app to do the same. It works

I tried doing this, after tapping smartview severral times a message box prompts amd asks for a password. I think samsung put a password here 😢

Yes while gaming only but Normal videos and frames don't lag too much.

@@Loth-n1v The secondary display doesn't have to do anything with internet, it simply connect over your local wifi and work without internet.

its no longer working in the latest software update, it is now required to enter a password to get access to the deeper feature.

You may choose the audio from settings, while you are in settings you may choose audio source whether from laptop or tablet.

i figured it out... settings > about tablet > software information > click build number 7 times
well.. that did nothing.....:( no option for two screen.. help
