    The android app DriveSync will sync Samsung Notes PDFs to drive, and a bunch of other cloud services. Either one way or two way sync. I use it every day. Sync A tablet to Drive with An icon push, then do the same on another tablet or phone. Everything is updated.

    Hi, thx for video! I just wanted to add that I was able to get the Windows app version of Samsung Notes. Its not as straight forward as downloading from Microsoft Store on PC but the method is out there and its easily found under a search... I found it to be the MISSING LINK in my note syncing, as One Note is good (I especially like the sticky note syncing) but I just prefer to have all notes in one location!!!

    I am going to research that paper writing screen. I want to see if the screen is backward compatible. I started using Samsung Notes with your software. I instead use OneNote as it syncs to my PC. When using the Windows Surface PC, I love that it will sync to all my devices. Using the software is excellent. I want to go totally paperless by Oct. I am doing my best. Thanks for your hard work.

      @@roscoe007 I mean a tablet is always going to be better for intense note-taking its more like a sheet of paper and the screen size is meant for large spaces. Now we can take our notes at our desk on our tablet and on our phone when on the go and they will sync.

      Overall the biggest difference is screen size. with a larger device also comes additional advantages like a larger battery, but that is mostly use to make up for the larger screen. 1:00 Note of clarification, the tablet you're using to demo in the video is the S9+ or S9?

    • @bodendorfer
      @bodendorfer  11 місяців тому +2

      The Tab S9 comes in three sizes. In this video I am using the middle size which is the S9 plus. For note-taking I think this is a great size. The Ultra does allow for an awesome productivity experience with side by size apps, but for me I like to have a tablet that is similar to a sheet of paper.

    • @reverend_wintondupree
      @reverend_wintondupree 11 місяців тому +3

      @@bodendorfer Thanks for confirming. The spacing on the S9+ looks great even on camera.
      Have you used the S9+ at all as a handheld? If so, is the size too uncomfortable for its general form factor or even after long usage?

    • @bodendorfer
      @bodendorfer  11 місяців тому +1

      @@reverend_wintondupree Yes, I have used it one handed. I think for my hands it's great. If my wife was holding it she might think its a little to big and hard to balance one-handed. The only reason I would consider the larger one is if it was primarily for media use, second monitor when on the go and for dual app use.

    • @reverend_wintondupree
      @reverend_wintondupree 11 місяців тому +3

      @@bodendorfer Greatly appreciate the feedback. Your video showcased the note taking experience on a flat surface is perfect for the space and size. I plan to do the same but spend almost as much time in my commutes taking notes on my lap or holding the tablet in one hand and writing with the S pen in the other. Great to hear its not too cumbersome when handling the plus version in those situations.

    • @bodendorfer

    Branden, I'm really confused. I just bought a A9+ to enter to the world of paperless note taking and implementing an app for my work. I have two problems. Apologies if these are Noob issues, I'm really stuck. First, the S-Pen I bought from Amazon doesn't work. It's branded as Samsung. I looked in the settings menu to pair it and could not find the right commands. The only stylus that works are the cheap rubber tipped pens found by a number of vendors. Secondly, I bought a MOBDIK screen protector to "make it feel more like paper" as advertised. Now, even the rubber stylus does not work, even my finger is intermittent. I'm sure these are all very basic questions. I'm really stuck. Thank you for the informative videos, will be following. Thank you very much!

    • @bodendorfer
      @bodendorfer  4 місяці тому

      Jeff - No worries here. A couple of things the A series tablets don't support the S Pen. You would need to get the S Tabs to work with the S pens. You can find some pens that work with the A series but it's not the same as the S Pen. As for a paper like feeling, you will most likely want a hard tip on your stylus with a screen cover. The soft tips don't work well with the matte finished covers.
