Brings back so many memories of when I was in Durango and Telluride with my husband, Steve K. Doyle. He was doing Fiber Optic Inspection and we spent a lot of time there. He died of leukemia in 2012. Love this song but it makes me cry..
Jimmy Stewart! There’s a pro that Shawn Camp needs on all his songs. His harmony & dobro add so much depth to this tune - & to others like “pina colada.” Recording top-notch, sounds great with your ears on.
I have listened to this when he has done it live here on UA-cam at different times and although he is always great and the band is flawless this is the best I have heard. Each one of the guys in the band was just exactly in the pocket and when their part came along I didn't hear a mistake or anyone stepping on anyone else. I guess it is just the music business but why this wasn't a great big hit for Shawn Camp is beyond me.

I believe that is the great Guthrie Trapp on lead guitar. He has never missed a note......ever!
