Good on you. Atleast you're on the road to better days. One thing I've learned is that if people think they can try you they will. But also it's up to you if they do. You teach people how to treat you.

If you are certain you can outwit your opponent, let them win the first battle. The arrogance and overconfidence of winning blinds them to the real strike to come. They never see it coming. Thinking ahead several steps is key. I love Robert Greene’s work.

Robert, I am reading The Laws of Human Nature and I thank you for all the learnings that I have been getting. Each chapter is more and more relatable and I am glad I picked it up. This is my third one after The 48 Laws of Power and Mastery. Thank you for writing such masterpieces, Robert.

Question, do you recommend reading Mastery first or Law's of Power? I've been trying to find a good reading routine so I can understand all his books but haven't started yet.

@@pa32779 for me this order i follow
      1. "Mastery" i reread it for 3 months so i can understand, the point is you can't go to next book if you did not understand first the Mastery
      2. The 18 law of human nature - this is the hard one, i spend almost 13 months to fully understand
      3. 48 law of Power - i reread it for 6 months so i can familiar all law
      4. The 33 strategies of war - i reread it for 6 months
      5. The Art of seduction - i reread it for 3 months
The key is you need to be have a big patience in order to familiarize, and after you read all books , repeat again until it part already in your life... That's all

What surprised me about this book is how much application it has to the real world. The chapter on Grand Strategy, I can focus all of my attention on my purpose and cut out the extra fat. Organizational, Team-Warfare - I can better understand what motivates people or what leads to a successful organization. Great book, Robert.

Have the book, read it, and enjoyed it! Only thing I would want to hear more about in this video is passion, that intangible quality that propels you forward toward your goal. With passion, the mind shifts into an automatic problem-solving machine. It is constantly inspired to connect with or be drawn toward the opportunities that guide you to your primary objective in life, and it keeps you from quitting along the way. We must find our passion in life, ideally between say five and 12 years old. Knowing this early on is beneficial because people tend to be more willing to help a minor child than a full-grown man or woman. But in truth it’s never too late. What is that one amazing and wholesome gift you have that's waiting to be developed? That thing would be your professional craving. Remember that in one way or another, it helps to be an extrovert or to find a supporter to do your promoting. Hard work is inevitable.

I can summarize my own understanding of reading the book:
Goals don’t need time to be achieved. As long as you are working at it at the present moment, you are creating it already and it does exist.
Allocating time to goals gives you the illusion that it will materialize with time. Time is nothing. Efforts in the moment is the only creator of whatever you want.
Create the big goals that will change you and challenge your mental and physical strength and you will be surprised that what you will become is far more important than what you seek.

I do and say things i know i shouldn’t, just when i think i have mastered in controlling my self, i slip up and make a really shitty decision, despite knowing better! Is there no hope of making true change? I hate were i’m at right now, it hurts really badly.

If you have time I want you to take a look on a fictional character named Kiyotaka Ayanokoji from an Anime named Class Room Of the Elites. It's been rumored that this character uses some laws from 48 laws of Power.
