I can't believe they even make it in white. Like all Peteomax stuff it looks like an awesome bit of kit but a bit on the heavy side for my liking. Nice vid mate and looks like you found an awesome location to film it in.

Hey my friend...do you know it's not actually that heavy..its enamled stainless steel mate so weight wise not bad ...obviously their pans and ovens are cast iron and much heavier...i was wondering why they make it in white too...but it cleans up real easy actually...its a lovely spot this and I like using it ...thanks for watching atb jj

These work well on electric hobs, wood fired kitchen stoves, wood stoves and other heat sources that won't stain, I suppose the white ones are a nice option then.

NO NO NO. Please stop this madness now. Putting sugar in with the coffee what’s this all about. But seriously as the sugar mixes with the water it will become syrupy and as it cools will begin sticking to the tube that the water travels up and into the coffee thus creating blockages over time.
Go steal sugar sachets from Mc Ds and add to your cup. I like the pot though it’s kinda like a fancy Mokka pot. Oh and what coffee did you brew give the roasters a shout out.
Beautiful place for a brew for sure.

@MichaelDavid7777 Although the percolator innards look a bit like a Mokka Pot, the mechanics are quite different. The water in a Mokka is forced upwards through the grounds, like a low pressure espresso - which is what the coffee resembles, even though it doesn't have a crema. With a percolator, the water travels up the pipe and then settles on the top of the grounds and seeps (percolates) back down through. Also, the percolator will circulate the liquid until it is removed from the heat. With the Mokka, the water is (almost) all ejected into the top chamber in one shot.
BTW - although I have never used a percolator - which is why I am looking at the video, I want one - I would tend to agree that adding sugar directly to the pot is not a good idea. The whole thing relies on a free circulation of water/brewing coffee.

@@charleshayes2528 Hey Charles, So @jj_outdoors Is a good friend of mine I used the Moka Pot description as when I'm out with Justin I've always got my own pot on the fire. I also know that he now has amended his ways & adds the sugar later once he's poured his coffee.
