Nice mods to the "Transporter." A very inexpensive shower "miser" is simply to place the shower head in a plastic juice container and run the water until it warms to an appropriate temp. I use this water to flush the toilet while boondocking over several days. No water is wasted boondocking in the desert. I had a Truma Combi Plus to heat the water and be the furnace. Very quiet. Alas, I now have a travel trailer, no more Class B. Cheers, Steve
Great advice…the new model Zions/SRTs have the Truma Combi Plus which would be nice. Steve and Darlene refer to the furnace as ‘ The Dragon’. Same as ours…works well, but loud until you somewhat get used to it! Hope you are enjoying the new trailer!
Very smart upgrades, I especially liked the shower and sink modifications and the live edge lagoon tables, and Darlene those window covers are amazing! Really enjoyed this video 😁
Thanks so much, the coffee table is attached to the dash with two small hinges and supported with an aluminum dowel. The Truma AquaGo is electric/propane, identical to the Girard, just better. No UA-cam channel but we are on Vancouver Island Roadtrek community FB page.
What a great video! Thank you. I searched for the DIY youtube video you mentioned about adding the Lagun table mount behind the driver's seat but couldn't find it. Any chance you could post a link or provide more detailed instructions? Thanks and keep up the great work!
Great video! We too have a Zion SRT and loving all your mods. We changed the radon, much better. Love your front cup holder, how did you secure these into place and second question is the Truma hot water heater also electric? Tempted in changing this because so muter in fresh but also so much gets wasted with the Girard's hot/cold cycles. Also will look into to the blue light water system. We use something like this at home and never worry about drinking Water. Tired pf hauling extra water in bottles when we have such a big watertank!
Glad you enjoyed! Some nice work from these guys…and like the Girard the Truma uses (heats) off propane, but hopefully S&D can answer the other question and add some details as needed!
Wow, Steve & Darlene sure have done a lot of upgrades/changes to their Roadtrek. Excellent ideas and execution. Safe travels to all!
Agree!
Steve and Darlene, our 'go-to' couple for all things Roadtrek. Fabulous upgrades and fabulous people. Great video.
🙏 Agreed! 🚐

@@mitsygaynor not that we know.
Great tour - Thank you for sharing! Are you able to inquire what brand of faucet for the bathroom?
We literally just asked the same…www.scandvik.com/index.cfm?method=products_detail&productID=103
Per Steve there is also a similar model #16218
@@hikenrv Perfect! 👍

Do you know the name of the shower head Steve installed?
Not off hand, but have reached out…and actually here you go (thanks Steve!):
