I am watching this video 2 years after buying the motorcycle to understand how good are the initial reviews. Feedback after 2 years of owning the bike. 1- Suspension only works for good roads. Replaced mine with nitrox. 2-Light and Wind shield doesn’t works. But that is true with almost every bike. Using HJG Aux light and thing of buying a windshield extender. Might remove windshield altogether. 3-Cruiser posture puts so much strain on butts using fego air seat. 4- Thinking of buying touring handle bar from Royal Enfield. Engine is a gem,quality parts and no issues with service so far. After modifications this one I am going to retain for life.

I got caught in some village roads with loose gravel like in your video and was hoping to see if the new bike would handle it better. I got engaged with this machine on June 30th 2022. The only struggle I’m facing is the Seat comfort. Other than that, it’s a good and really nice guy to ride. Planning to go for Sahara seats(suggested by my friends). Will let you know after the modification.

Apart from the content of the video, your voice, your diction and command on the language is what I liked very much. These days many UA-camrs struggle to speak even Hindi and the content of videos most of the time is below par.
I’ve been toying with the idea of getting this bike since it was first announced and your review has certainly wet my appetite. It’s not available yet here in the UK but hopefully in the next few weeks some will be made available to test ride. I’m interested to know whether it can handle a pillion on long tours? Any feedback on this would be helpful. Once again thanks for the video 😊
Hi! Midsized (upto 5’10”) pillion riders can travel in comfort on the Meteor. The seat cushion is one of the best I have sat on. Like to hear from you post the test ride whenever that may be. Cheers!

Excellent review. I'm in Scotland and trying to decide between this or an interceptor. I love both bikes, i am leaning towards the meteor but I don't want to regret my pyrchase. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Please advice on proper sitting position on meteor, to sit right back on the curved surface or in the middle, to sit straight or lean forward especially in faster speed, to grip tank or not. All this to prevent neck and back , sometimes shoulder pain .i ride around 30 kms a day let me know if the touring seat is better thanks
Hi. To each their own riding posture. The cruiser is a relaxed position. Straight back, no need to grab tank, relaxed hands, leaning back a little. However when riding hard you'll need to lean forward a bit. Cheers!

Hi! The main differences are in riding posture, power and price. Ride both on the same route to get a direct back to back comparison. And ride at least 10 km each. Personally I prefer the power of the Inty. But the Meteor is super comfortable to ride. Cheers!

Hi! They are very different machines for the rider. The cost, the performance, the mileage are all different. So it’s your call on what you are looking for. When it comes to good highway comfort then the Meteor is better. For the pillion I suggest you take a test ride with your wife as pillion on both the motorcycles and let her be the one to choose the one that provides better pillion comfort. Cheers!

Hi sir i brought this vehicle a week back and enjoying this machine very much, but i have faced only 2 issues with this motorcycle 1. Rear suspension is very hard and it was hurting my spine like anything - Now i have upgraded the suspension with Classic 350 nitrox and the issue is solved 2. Today i got a chance to ride with a pillion in Bangalore haevy traffic and the engine heat is very much evident, After the engine heats up i could feel the power lag when i throttle - curious to know what would be the issue and how to fix it. good test ride ,- very brave to ride on loose surfaces, -- i hope you never had a dog on that piece of string or rope you were dragging along at the beginning, ,, bike seems good quality.
Hi! I had to ride on the loose surface road to get back home else it would have been a long way back if I had to turn around. 😊 And that was some piece of hay that the bike picked up and was dragged along, no dog fortunately!! 😀
Namaskara! I do not have a definitive answer now to the specific reliability question. The fact is that Honda is a world leader in quality and quantity. I suggest that you test ride both on the same route for at least 10 kms back to back to understand what works for you. Both are very different motorcycles. So, it’s you who must choose what suits you best. Cheers!

@@julianrose810 I am not a fan of serious by the book running-in. I choose to ride free rather than babying the engine. Also, neither do I push the engine to the redline right away. It has worked for me for decades.
Amazing motorcycle but my only complain is I find the rear suspension too stiff even at the soft setup at zero notch . Any suggestions would be appreciated 🙏🏼
I rode the meteor for about 370kms.. all was fine ... However the rear suspension felt too stiff... Even tho it was on the softest setting... Apart from suspension setup all was good...🙏
Hi! Yes I found it stiff too when I rode it when the motorcycle was new. And now it has run close to 3,000, the rear has softened out and is better. Cheers!
Suspensions soften up more initially and then the drop off is very slow. Besides it is at its softest setting now, so if it sags more then it can be adjusted. Regards.

Sir I've seen some people on yt replacing the stock rear shock of meteor with nitrox shocks that used to come in old classic 350s. They claim that it solves the stiffness issue of the rear suspension. Do think it would work? Will there be any disadvantages in changing the suspension?

@@shyamfootprints972 Investing in a good helmet and taking good care of it has benefits for sure. The internals will be durable & washable and they retain shape and functionality and safety for many years. I have used several brands of helmets and the last 12 years I have used a Nolan, an X-Lite and now use an Arai. I find them very comfortable and very durable compared to any other budget helmet. Mind you, helmets are a huge topic and sometimes controversial discussing them. Since I mostly ride adventure and touring motorcycles I prefer adventure helmets. I currently use an Arai XD4. For the Meteor cruiser I suggest that you consider a full face with a built-in sun visor, removable & washable linings, pinlock compatible visor (anti-fogging), with good air vents and with a D-ring strap. And if budget permits buy a Helmet that's made in Japan, Italy or Korea or from other developed nations. AGV has a range from 12k to 40k and the lower budget helmets are made in China while most of the expensive models are made in Italy. HJC is also a good budget brand. The helmet in this video is a Nexx Muddy Hog full face. Its light and compact but the drawback is its got a small field of vision and a fixed visor that can just open just an inch. But I love it for its light weight. I think its about 1200 gms. Cheers!

Sir I am facing rear brake squeal sound issue on my meteor 350. It was there before first service of 500 km, after the service sound was fixed. But the sound came again after a week. What could be the issue ?
As per ur riding style.for me i ride by hugging the tank like sport bike so causing lot of problem but if u ride in relax position not gripping the tank with ur thighs then not so much problem still if u choose fireball variant then it better as per me

My reference is more to the Himalayan mid size screens. Tall and short are manageable.

Clean disc and pads with brake cleaner and scrubbing pad.
