I just realised a detail in this scene When Eggsy and Harry are getting thrashed by Whiskey, their movements are out of sync with the music But at the end when they gain the upper hand, their movements are spot on with the rhythm 👌
I love how the bad guy has to get his speech out before he kills them 😂. If he shot them before they noticed he was there this movie would of been over.
I think Whiskey still saw Harry and Eggsy as fellow agents and out of respect for them, announced his sudden appearance and also made his intentions known. Doesn't even hate or look down on both of them like a more unfamiliar villain would, he just sees them in his way and would probably rather keep them as hostages than outright kill them.
Whiskey could have just focused on his stated objective and won without anyone dying either. Use the whip, or something else he could have armed himself with before coming there, and destroy the computer while the others were unarmed. At 2:34 just swing the whip into the case and instant victory.
To be fair, he had both of his signature weapons. That lasso's busted af whilst Eggsy and Harry were practically unarmed. Along with that, Eggsy is not as experienced as Whiskey and you could say Harry was a bit rusty with how long he had been out of commission. The way I see it, had it been pre-amnesia Harry vs Whiskey both with their weapons of choice. It could've been a very even fight.
I thought that too at first but actually it's harder for two people to fight one person in sync but they pulled it off because they were well trained. As it pertains to Whiskey 1v1ing, Eggsy is faster and Harry is a veteran so I think even if they were going solo they could have beat him.
Not really a fair comparison. Eggsy and Harry are at this point exhausted. They're both coming off of a major firefight and two boss fights, one that had Eggsy getting tossed around like a limp noodle and Harry running for his life from an unstoppable robot dog TWICE. On top of this, they're effectively both unarmed, scrounging half-empty weapons from the environment while Whiskey is entirely refreshed and using his signature loadout. Given the situation, the fact that they won at all is insane, and it's only possible with how well they work together. One of my favorite things about this fight is that there's never a moment of somebody standing around. Eggsy and Harry work in perfect harmony, and there's never a moment where they're both fighting and not overwhelming Whiskey. Like when Harry is shuffling with Whiskey and Eggsy comes in with the tackle from behind.
I appreciate that Whiskey has a point, and it goes from the lady trying to make all drugs legal is wrong, but the guy who wants to make all drug users die is also wrong. Because it shows that Poppy is still fucking evil despite wanting to jog the economy and regulate and tax drugs, but at the same time she holds millions of people hostage. And at the same time, Whiskey is right, drugs kill thousands and ruin the lives of thousands more, perhaps millions of lives in the past decades. But they’re both wrong, the film makes a point to show that the people who smoke some weed or tale ecstasy aren’t evil people all the time, and someone smoking weed isn’t the same as a guy robbing a gas station for more heroin. (Yeah the movie isn’t super deep and is basically a cartoon but this was a good storytelling choice)
If I get a chance to kill people who is not willing to stop using drugs at any cost but, don't want to harm others, I would still kill them. I would be happy doing that. If those people agree to stop using drugs I would be ok with that.
If Eggsu didn't have his girlfriends name as need to know he could have said that she was someone under enormous social pressure dating a secret agent who's reluctant to commit because secrecy.
I love that the Statesmen and the Kingsmen are pretty evenly matched. The Kingsmen only won because they outnumbered him and used teamwork to their advantage.
also add that Agent whiskey, might not have been running at 100% since he was shot in the head, so imagine if he was at full strength two of them might not have been enough
Guys! He's not some basic ass punk; he's a Statesman. One would assume he has similar training to them and may be as experienced as prime Harry. This is not prime Harry nor is Eggsy at that level yet. Thus it works he is able to hold his own for a while especially with the initial sneak attack.
So if a person smokes pot for ANY reason they deserve to die because technically it's a drug. It may not be meth but it's still a drug. People use it for recreation, people use it for pain. Vets use it, but I guess GOOD RIDDANCE but you don't think he's wrong. People are people. And with something like this you can NEVER generalize
You know, it's stated a lot that neither Merlin nor even Whiskey here had to die at all, and I think they're right. The latter could've just been knocked out cold and taken into secret service custody.
@@izzieb.2926i disagree, the kingsman system getting compromised and destroyed was a good plot point, it would have been weirder if she somehow managed to survive that

this is some insane cinematography
I love how the bad guy has to get his speech out before he kills them 😂. If he shot them before they noticed he was there this movie would of been over.
Well where would the fun be in him just shooting Harry and eggsy
I think Whiskey still saw Harry and Eggsy as fellow agents and out of respect for them, announced his sudden appearance and also made his intentions known. Doesn't even hate or look down on both of them like a more unfamiliar villain would, he just sees them in his way and would probably rather keep them as hostages than outright kill them.
Whiskey could have just focused on his stated objective and won without anyone dying either. Use the whip, or something else he could have armed himself with before coming there, and destroy the computer while the others were unarmed. At 2:34 just swing the whip into the case and instant victory.
That throw of the whip to the grinder while ex-Galahad was trying to disarm Whiskey was a freaking genius move.
Every villan has its story of emotions
So Whiskey woulda beat their ass one on one, kinda a shame, seems like he’s the baddest agent
To be fair, he had both of his signature weapons. That lasso's busted af whilst Eggsy and Harry were practically unarmed.
Along with that, Eggsy is not as experienced as Whiskey
and you could say Harry was a bit rusty with how long he had been out of commission.
The way I see it, had it been pre-amnesia Harry vs Whiskey both with their weapons of choice. It could've been a very even fight.
i prefer tequilla more, so happy he joined kingsman at the end
He would of won if he turned the whip on when chocking eggsy. It’s pretty dumb that he didnt
This movie is like that Dave Chappelle skit about the crackhead and oppiod epidemic.
Those who use drugs are not always evil but they are bad and should die.
I can't get over these movies, I'm a sucker for their particular brand of action
I love that the Statesmen and the Kingsmen are pretty evenly matched. The Kingsmen only won because they outnumbered him and used teamwork to their advantage.
also add that Agent whiskey, might not have been running at 100% since he was shot in the head, so imagine if he was at full strength two of them might not have been enough
the meat grinder aspect is one of the most brutal things i’ve seen in movies
Definitely an unnecessary kill, but a cool fight nonetheless. He held his own pretty well against 2 Kingsmen
Villain has tragic backstory involving his wife and kid
Kingsmen: kill him in the most brutal way possible
@@dogestranding5047 they needed to end the fight quick, they didnt have the time to talk to him or restrain him
@@2000sancho b*tch, eggsy was happy to kill him. Your point.
Two Kingsmen just took out an army and had no gadgets left. He had a 6 shooter and an electric lasso and still lost
Guys! He's not some basic ass punk; he's a Statesman. One would assume he has similar training to them and may be as experienced as prime Harry. This is not prime Harry nor is Eggsy at that level yet. Thus it works he is able to hold his own for a while especially with the initial sneak attack.

A southern cowboy final boss fight with country music and an energy lasso. Damn, they went full-in with this. Great work.
From 3:03 on it's just one long continuous shot. Incredible
To be honest with you I actually agree with Whiskey. He went about things in an "extreme" way, but he wasn't _wrong..._

I like how Julianne Moore is still dead behind the counter during this and didn't magically disappear
2:40 That might be the bravest thing Eggsy has done in these movies.
The fight scenes in Kingsman are hypnotic.
You know, it's stated a lot that neither Merlin nor even Whiskey here had to die at all, and I think they're right. The latter could've just been knocked out cold and taken into secret service custody.
Roxy was also an unnecessary kill. To many major character deaths in this one
@@izzieb.2926i disagree, the kingsman system getting compromised and destroyed was a good plot point, it would have been weirder if she somehow managed to survive that
The choreography in these fuckin' movies is insane in the fighting scenes. Looks like Whiskey would have bodied either Galahad in a one on one.
Even as a villain, Pedro Pascal plays a charismatic and charming character.
Is no one going to appreciate the fact that Eggsy jumped through that electrified lasso hoop?? Shit was awesome.
At 3:28 when Harry gets a pan to the head is the funniest shit I've seen in a movie in years

Good on camera man for not dying while this fight scene was going on.
I get the feeling whiskey probably killed the people who killed his wife. He gives off those character vibes. But that clearly wasn't enough for him. He's a broken man driven by vengeance on the world at this point
throwing the whip into the meat thingy machine was a very big brain move

Such a wonderful fight.
Looking back at these scenes make me realize how badass the camera work is.
this scene is filmed so cleverly given all the difficult elements. the long continuous shot style is really tough with such crazy blocking but the choreographer/dp cleverly fit in some very smooth, seamless cuts. and i know those reflective surfaces were a bitch for both film crews and/or the vfx team afterwards unless they themselves were vfx-ed in.
What a fighting scene great👍👍
Some of the best fighting choreography I have ever seen
I had no idea at the time this was Pedro Pascal, and now in the year of 2024 that makes it so much funnier 😂
The fighting style in these movies is just something out of this world.
I love his tone and the emphasis on the f'ing convienent store. It shows how insignificant it was, that 2 meth heads would rob it. And that his wife would be unlucky enough to be there. Pedro pascal absolutely rocks this character
This is one of my favorite character that Perdo Pascal portrayed.
He is indeed the daddy looking here.
Bloody hell's bells, even I felt that frying pan😮!

The best part about these fight scenes are the fact that you study get to see the fight scene. No endless cuts, no missed impacts, no useless shaky cam.
The cinematography in this scene was awesome no jump cuts and ahd following the movements literally
After everything Harry and agent whiskey was my favourite ever
Just like a Mandalorian to put up such a good fight.
The coreography of this fight deserves an oscar
How'd whiskey get the bullwhip / lasso back in his hand after he lost it in the beginning of the fight on the outside of the bar, but then magically had it on this inside of the bar?
@@crank7283 it wasn’t the same whip. If it was, he could have easily turned it electric when it was around Eggsy’s neck and he pretty much woulda been screwed.
3:02 handgun combat tip. Close quarters - never stretch and point your arm out to fire. Shoot from the hip or somewhat close to your chest.
man i absolutely have to rewatch all the kingsman movies
I loved the first Kingsman, but this sequel... the epic fight in the end: two "good" against one "bad". But the bigger thing is: I think Whiskey really had a point.
