There is nothing political about a nation mourning the loss of their people. If in 2002 Kelly Clarkson had performed a song that referenced the pain of losing 2,977 Americans on 9.11.01, would you have called that a political song?
❤❤❤ to Eden from Berlin Germany
Spotify every year, at the end of each year, launches a playlist with the most listened to music per user. Surely when I see my playlist at the end of the year, the song "Hurricane" by Eden Golan will be among the 5 songs that I have listened to the most during 2024.
Greetings from Chile... 🇨🇱🤝🏻🇮🇱
AMAZING SONG! Leave music out of art! 12 POINTS
Emotional masterpieceI listen to it 100 times already
Millions of listens since its release just weeks ago.. already the second most watched ESC video this past month.. amazing singer, excellent song, powerful lyrics, and great choreography in the video. Yeah, I think Israel could win, or place well at the very least.
Of course, there are the haters that will ignore all of the qualities of a song, singer, performance, etc.. you know.. the stuff that actually matters in a song contest, but no matter where Hurricane places, it’s an incredibly well written song that’s performed with heart and soul that ultimately matters most and will continue to have a lasting impact long after ESC 24 has concluded. Am Israel Hai 🫶🏼🇮🇱 Thank you Israel. Thank you Eden. 🎗️in memory of 7.10🕊️
Hurricaine....a winner. Is there any other song that sparks so much emotion from the first lyric?
Amazing song ❤ 12 points from The Netherlands
amazing song!❤
This is the best song in this year’s contest, hands down! Powerful vocals, soulful lyrics and artistic choreography- Israel #1 👏👏👏👏🇮🇱🇮🇱

@@Minkamina49 you forgot to mention “Proud Zionist”. The pain is all yours 🥸
It’s a beautiful, powerful song and the singer has an amazing voice! ❤
Best song!
Hurricane song is the most important thing that Israel doing for telling the world about our filling and emotional.Good luck Eden 🇮🇱❤️🙏🌪
Would it win the contest? Hard to say. It is not the typical Eurovision sensational entry (that often wins).
However, of all the songs in ESC 2024 it is going to be Hurricane, the Swiss 'The Code' and perhaps two more that will survive the test of time. Survive in playlists 10 years from now....
Simply because these songs are musically valuable, while most of the rest are at best typical Eurovision sensational entries with short life expectancy.
Eden has a rich and beautiful voice.
As for the song = beautiful lyrics. Powerful and emotional.
Judge for yourself ....
[Verse 1]
Writer of my symphony, play with me
Look into my eyes and see
People walk away but never say goodbye
Someone stole the moon tonight, took my light
Everything is black and white
Who's the fool who told you boys don't cry?
[Pre-Chorus]
Hours and hours, empowers
Life is no game, but it's ours
While the time goes wild
[Chorus]
Every day, I'm losin' my mind
Holdin' on in this mysterious ride
Dancin' in the storm, I got nothin' to hide
Take it all and leave the world behind
Baby, promise me you'll hold me again
I'm still broken from this hurricane
This hurricane
[Verse 2]
Living in a fantasy, ecstasy
Everything is meant to be
We shall pass, but love will never die, mm
[Pre-Chorus]
Hours and hours, empowers
Life is no game, but it's ours
While the time goes wild
[Chorus]
Every day, I'm losin' my mind
Holdin' on in this mysterious ride
Dancin' in the storm, I got nothin' to hide
Take it all and leave the world behind
Baby, promise me you'll hold me again
I'm still broken from this hurricane
This hurricane, ooh
Ooh, ooh
(This hurricane) Ooh
Ooh, ooh
[Outro]
לא צריך מילים גדולות
No need for 'big' words
רק תפילות
Only prayers
אפילו אם קשה לראות
Even if it is hard to see
תמיד אתה משאיר לי אור אחד קטן
You always keep one small light for me.
Please go back and look at your verse 2. I don't think you meant some extra stuff right there. 👍

The winner of Eurovision 2024! Stunning song!
Winning? Probably not. Qualifying from Semi 2? Absolutely. It is a beautiful, heartbreaking song in a year of a lot of "in your face". I think U.S. people exposed to the song will have haunting feelings of 9/11, much like I did. May Eden have rhe best of luck.
I think you'll get surprised 🏆
@@ifarchi4 I hope so!
She's winning 1000%. The best song this year, lyrics, music, vocals, + it's a war. So perfect winning material on Eurovision 😂

Correction: this song is not about relationships, it is about 7.10. To remember the events that turned Israel and the world upside down. In the scenes where she's dancing with the dead= the victims of the Nova Peace Festival. Upside down tree= one of the sites at the festival where people were tortured, r@pd, and murdered (over 250 at this location alone). It also represents the uprooted lives of those who escaped the massacre. Sunrise= the massacre began at sunrise on 7.10. The lyrics "promise me you'll hold me again"= referring to the hostages taken by the terror organization Hams. There are many more references throughout, in the scenes, choreography and lyrics. Research the events of 7.10 and rewatch the music video to find them 💔
which is why this song shouldnt be allowed. You are not allowed to talk about political messages in the song. I understand that the music festival killings were horrible, but Israel has used this to completely and unjustifiably commit genocide. Israel shouldn't be allowed to compete this year.
@@nicolastartaras Incorrect. Israel has been invaded on 7/10/23 by thousands of Hamas terrorists. It was not a terror act against a music festival. Hamas the facto conquered the southern border of Israel with Gaza and slaughtered 1400 people (from 0 to 100 years old). Israel is now defending its people and itself by trying to erradicate Hamas and it is not commiting any genocide against thge palestinians. Good people worldwide shall justify Israel and stand with it and not blame Israel for defending itself. Shame on you, you have been brain washed by too much pro palestinian propaganda. Too much Al Jazeera...
well this is pure propaganda and pure political which got her in the first time to get her song refused if you wanna talk about the Nova Peace Festival, the idf admitted killing their own people no case of rapping has been proven and all the song has been used by israeli governement in order (with the hasbara propaganda program) again to try to victimise themselves and make people forget what they actually doing (which is killing the same number of people that died during that festival but everyday based on a death daily rate).
@@nicolastartarasits not about relationship, and the text is not political either. Its about the pain of losing a loved one. Pain, grieve and a little light at the end.Mourning your loved ones is not political, that's universal.
I think about a family member I lost.
Good luck, Israel. Its a wonderful song with a beautiful music arrangement.
Stay strong in these difficult times. ❤
@@nicolastartaras what are you on about dude it’s always political and that’s the only reason Ukraine won and I’m pretty sure you didn’t say a word. Can’t have it with the hypocrisy you guys have no standards nor understanding of your own values
Winner ❤
Never
She will be height, cuz of televote
Who cares if she doesn't win. HER MESSAGE IS EMBEDDED IN MY SOUL NOW ❤
Eden❤❤❤❤❤
A masterpiece
it has nothing to do with relationships...it was modified from October Rain, as it was forced to be removed from the contest
now watch October rain
The best song
Meilleure chanson, meilleure voix 12 points pour Israël 💙🫶🏻
I'll make the grand final, I'm sure, but not 1st. "Critics" are the loud people who want to see Israel crumble for political reasons. The silent majority speaks - they have voted Israel 5th so far in the popularity poll! It's a mesmerizing song, so captivating & beautiful, like Eden herself.
❤SHE IS Definitely a Winner it's gone global before the finals
I remember Abba do you ? critic's hated them from pure jealousy
ABBA THE REST IS HISTORY
They hated motzart when he was alive for the same reason
If this song wins then the lives of thousands of civilians killed by Israel in Gaza will count for nothing. Music competitions must not allow apartheid states to participate.
I seond that emotion.
Go away
I would vote it not just because its a good song but also to say FU to the hysterical protestors and Greta.

Hurricane feels like a song written speaking to God. Meanwhile the Irish song is a cartoon version of demon worship for the most annoying people on earth. Ireland deserves better. They used to be a powerhouse when it came to their Eurovision entries.
ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT!!
Mostly like oppositly would buried in the semifinal
