Eugene Burger did virtually the exact same trick as a closer to his stroll around routine. First he passed the bag around, which was folded into a 2-inch square and held together with a rubber band and asked the spectators if they could guess what he had inside. Then he would unfold it, reach in and produce a shot glass of whiskey. I used to do this trick at parties many years ago. It was quite the stunner. I wonder if since he passed, the rights are up for grabs?

An alternative is Refilled by Henry Harrius where you show an empty beer bottle in a bag that later turns into a full bottle. Then crumble the bag. It's $75, but you don't need a jacket or sloshing liquid. There are a few stages to the routine, so it has a longer run time.

I bought this at the Nemcon Convention Outstanding Great Trick !! Quality all the way ! I am going to order a fake Orange Juice glass . You can use real Orange Juice but I
want an easy setup . I don't think your audience care If you take a sip to prove it's real . You know why? cause their jaws will hit the ground when the drink appears . So in my opinion I am going to use a fake O.J glass 18.99 at ESTY 'Great Review as always Dave"

Can you speak to something my wife and daughter asked when they saw the trailer for the effect? Right after opening the bag, he sticks his fingers in the bag (presumingly to open the bag more) but we clearly see what looked like something being "dropped" into the bag. The movement on the outside, front of the bag showed what looked like something sliding into the bag. I told them that he then is able to show the Helper that there is nothing in the bag but they kept going back to what they saw just before that. So, can you tell me if either that was a mistake on the Magician's part that can be avoided with more practice OR my wife and daughter's suspicions are correct??

the only thing going in the bag is the glass and it happens when you hear him say "and then it happens" whatever you're seeing before is just the bag opening up

Tyvek is the same material used for CD Rom sleeves that used to come with PC games or operating systems. I used them for blank CDs and DVDs. They do wrinkle but are very hard to rip. I would love to use this effect with Infinity Wine.

The trailer looks great and he's not wearing a jacket per se, his shirt is unbuttoned and untucked. I got one and am looking forward to the possibilities. I do stand up comedy so producing a glass of water to start so makes sense.

maybe a little bit, but since the bag is water proof nobody will notice
I believe they talked about tydeck on the office ladies podcast. In movies and TV shows they really can’t afford to have props make too much noise so whenever there’s scenes where there’s paper bags because so much come grocery shopping, they use tydek bags cause they’re quiet.

tyvek. It what Fed Ex mailing pouches are made of. Also, housing insulation is tyvek.

Other versions like Osterlind's or Bill Abbot's S&S, are wonderful but they do not have the physical "drop in" effect.
At the beginning when he first opens the bag it looks like something is manipulated or dropped in the bag.
Not sure how, as you state towards the end of this review, you will get 5 to 7 minutes out of this. But it does look pretty good.

Not a trick that I would do. It is NOT easy to load the glass. You need to do this as an opener and you cannot do it strolling as he says. AND, you will spill when you do the appearance. This trick went immediately into my "Drawer of Never To Do Tricks". Ugh.
