I want teller to say "Now that is what i called originally"
Teller all the time : 🤐
Teller speaks off camera, so I hope he did say at least something after filming.
lol
Met him in Vegas he spoke like anyone else
Do u even know who ur talking about?
I wish they had a second kind of trophy for the wow factor or just great showmanship. There have been acts that fooled them that I just didn't care for. This was just full of wonder.
Totally agree!
I suggested one up above. The Blew Us... BU Award... Blew Us away award. They get both since they didn't expect to get blown that hard.
So they get BUFU. Both awards... Like a golden Shower I mean buzzer but less messy.
Yeah, despite the name of the show, the main draw of the it isn't to watch Penn and teller get fooled, it's to watch and appreciate the acts, and to listen to what P&T have to say about them.
I disagree with participation trophies
@@-Me_ Me too.
Honestly, out of all the acts I've seen on Penn and Teller, this was probably my favourite.
Agreed really makes you feel like you’re watching real magic again...
Yeah this was absolutely beautiful. The silence only adds to the magic!
I agree.. Pure magic
definitely one of my favorites!
Watch Javi Benitez Fool Us
The beauty and mystery of your act is a perfect example of what magic should be like. Your performance never had me asking "how did he do it?" but, rather, it had me in a state of mind that was beyond asking questions. I had been transported to a place that was all about surrendering completely to an experience of beauty. I do not care how you did it, nor do I want to know how you did it. I am simply thankful for being able to experience it. Thank you for bringing it to us. You are not only a man of immense talent but of immense heart and soul as well. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future. You have gained another great admirer!
Exactly how i felt. I was a child again just transfixed on something beautiful. I didnt care one bit about how e did it.
One of the most beautiful sensitive comment I ever read.
I, too think it is the most beautiful performance on this show.
Personally everything but the disappearing tricks were super obvious tome
it was a ball and a cup
I really love how Penn makes a point to avoid pointing out failures to fool them, or to point out how they spotted the weakness in the performer's show. Instead, they focused on everything good and wonderful about the show.
Base on what Penn and Teller said throughout the years, I believe they want to inspire other people to get into the craft. So they're very supportive.
I don't think that "weakness" is the right word. They are experts in the basic engineering of an illusion. It doesn't take weakness for them to understand, any more than it is "weak" for a marksman to hit a bullseye that another marksman can also hit.
@@SoloPilot6 amen 🙏
Honestly some Magicians come to Penn and Teller to showcase their Magic to an audience...not everyone is 100% trying hard to fool them...i mean if Penn and Teller are your idols then performing your favorite trick for them is just as special if not more...then creating a trick just to get them fooled, to me its more of a game when people do that. What he did was a performance.
At least for me, you don't need to be a fooler, to win in this show. Beautiful!
I agree definitely one of the best performances I’ve ever seen on Fool Us absolutely perfect and amazingly entertaining
I think that is the real purpose of Fool Us. While fooling Penn and Teller is the prime objective, another thing this show does is give a platform for lesser-known magicians to show off their craft.
Ill say it again, i love the fact they give these performers a copy of their performance for them to use however they like. It serves as a very high production value intro to the artist for people just discovering them on youtube or seeing it wherever they upload it.
Its exposed me to quite a few good artists that i never otherwise would have followed.
I think its pretty safe to assume a lot of other people have experienced this as well.
Kudos to P&T for always contributing to the growth, awareness and longevity of their craft.
I've seen performances fool them.
But this one was better than most of them in my opinion. It wasn't about how it's done
It was about how beautiful it was done!
This was so beautiful, emotional, and brilliant! What an absolute stunning masterpiece of magic!
3:45 is what every magician should inspire to receive. A child that still has their mind free to the world. Where you present to them what is magical. Today we are trapped in pace where it's "go go go".
This is beautiful. Your humbleness and humility gain the respect from millions who saw you on Penn and Teller. This is an amazing performance.
The translator tried his best, proud of him.
I’ve seen this twice now. With the screen I always come up with some ways in which it could be done...but that hole in the table gets me EVERY TIME! I have no idea how he does that and I kind of don’t want to know. Simply beautiful.
I was shocked when he pulled that off. That said, it must just br a gaffed table that has a hole in it, no?
My favorite moment is when he picks up the powder and throws it "onto" the invisible ball. I know how it works, but the story takes me away from the method into pure wonder.
Fantastic performance.
@@michaelclarkj yeah he does that powder thing really well
Amazing act; I literally yelled out "What the SH*T?!" at 6:24.
Me to myself: Well if there's one thing he can't do, it's roll the ball into that hole.
*rolls the ball into the hole*
Me: ....
thats a real hole.. as soon as he egg/ball got in he went to check the glass durinh which his right habd reach below/behind the cover to pick the gimmick hole.
"So boss, should we use the unobtrusive translator or go balls out awkward for no reason?"
"You're a professional Carol, just get it done."
"Hey guys, green light! Green light!"
The thing about this performance is that this doesnt look just as a magic trick, its more like art, the music, the ideas, brilliant and unique.
One of my favorite acts on the show ever. Truly surprised me a couple times and the showmanship was incredible
Fooled or not, this routine is art. Straight up, beautiful art.
This act literally has me in tears.. it honestly reminds me of how I felt the first time I saw tellers shadow rose trick..
I have been doing magic for thirty-five years, and I've rarely seen anything this beautiful.
This is up there with Shin Lim’s first performance on the show in terms of just visual artistry and telling a really beautiful story through effect without being precious or saccharine. Congratulations, DK. Really, really gorgeously done!
I don't know why it took two years for UA-cam to recommend this to me.
I scrolled the comments and what I'm going to say is more of the same. That was a brilliant and beautiful routine!!!
From beginning to end, DK was astounding!
The best Fool Us performance of all time.
I didn't read the description and was watching it thinking this really should be in FISM, and I'm not surprised that it is indeed a FISM winning act. What a beautiful act.
I have watched a LOT of penn and teller fool us, and this is one of the only acts that left me feeling an actual sense of wonder. So many times during the performance I had no idea what the next move was going to be. Like when he crumpled the shadow cup I gasped.
honestly there were more "how did he do that" moments in this than most of the other routines I've watched. This is prob the most underrated and one of my favorites.
After serving in South Korea I feel that humility is still a big factor of honor in their country. Great show.
The best performance of Fool Us history. Absolutely incredible!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍beautiful!!
O
This is maybe Top 3 most beautiful acts of magic I have ever seen. 10/10 🏆
What a gorgeos act, your real magician, it doesn't matter if they fooled or not, your act is so beautiful...
Anas_ Omer Thank you so much😁👍🏻
@@DK-mp7qr your welcome, and you know what, i liked you, so i'm interesting in your show from now on, keep on it magician💪...
I've seen so many acts on this show. Without question, this was the most beautiful and amazing thing I have ever witnessed 💚.. really wonderful job! I never subscribe to any of the performers but I am this time. I need to see more!
One of my favorite acts ever! It almost made me cry. So beautifully touching ❤
We need another trophy win condition for acts like this that require insane skill and technique and are pieces of art and deserve to perform in Vegas...like the golden button Idol ...
Wonderful performance DK. Love your humility at the end. And it blew my mind when the ball went into the hole. Great job.
This is a very simple and free-flowing act that gives a sense of innocent exploration of a child. But it's clearly complex and masterful in execution.
I didn't think I would ever like a magic show until I saw this. This is my first love.
You did it dramatically.
It's just so damn beautiful that I stop caring that it's a trick. High level skills!
I'm looking forward to see your next show.
Stay humble and I'll keep my eyes on you, watch you get big. You did good job!👏
You don’t like Shin Lim?
@@ikon1403 Similar sense isn't it. This guy is like Shin Lim earlier in his career. A time traveler Shin Lim. Maybe that's a trick too haha.
@@darioinfini shin lim isn't the one who started doing these things, he's not even the inspiration for this act. magicians in asia have been more or less dominating the international professional magic scene for like 3 decades and shin lim likely got his inspiration from magicians in taiwan and korea. koreans especially have been killing it. that famous video of his that went viral was a good act for an up and coming magician, and it was the first time many people on youtube were introduced to magic but those were all very basic tricks.
@@jp-sn6si No kidding. Would love to see these others too then. Sounds like there's a lot of great magic not seen by many.
DK....this magician's skills and abilities is on another level. He does everything so smoothly and without let us knowing that everything he is doing just a trick. It looks SO AMAZING AND UNNATURAL...!!!!
AND our host Allison is so full of grace....fool us show would be feel SO EMPTY without her.
Big fan of Penn & Teller BUT
MORE BIGGER fan of our cute and adorable ALLISON...☺️😊☺️
This is the best performance on Fool Us I've seen yet, really incredible trick DK
I always ignore the backstory until after the show; it pollutes my opinion. This was simply beautiful and hearing the backstory afterward? Bravo sir
No matter you fool them or not. You won the show, D.K., great act indeed.
Much beautiful
For god sake give this man an award or something for 'most beautiful magic'
This was really like magic. Great show for all ages.
One of the best and most beautiful magic tricks I have ever seen. BRAVO!
This....was....stunningly....and gracefully....Beautiful !
I don't understand why this is considered impressive or entertaining. Just my opinion. I am glad that many, many other people enjoy it and are enthralled by it. I also think it's great that we still have "magic" in the world.
I DONT CARE IF YOU FOOLED THEM THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!
I don’t know why, but this made me so emotional that I cried. Absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful. A winner in deed.
To get that kind of compliment from Penn is really something. What a top notch trick!
This is how magic is supposed to be! Super clean and of course the wow factor
Magician and Drift King. So much talent.
Theres not much to say about this that than it was simply stunning, one of the best performances ever
I agree with Penn. Most beautiful act I've seen on this show.
A real magician great performance great story and thank you for being humble and not pretending like you have real magic or just outsmarted everyone I hate when magicians give you that face like I outsmarted you because I am real magic I hate this but this guy did it correct everything
The most talented is the most humble ☺️
When I saw Teller's rendition of shadow illusions, I had a feeling that he would notice some moves in your performance. But, like you said, your intention wasn't to fool but to perform. Which you did beautifully. Wonderful act.
I loved the personality of this man. The look in his eyes just so
This makes me smile just like the first time i watched a magic trick
Devotion to an art form can very well be akin to love. The devotion, skill and beauty expressed in this routine is as pure an expression of love as I have seen in any magic act. Thank you, DK.
Probably the best performance I’ve ever seen on Fool Us he deserves to perform in their Live show whether he fooled them or not they would benefit from it more than he would he did an amazing job!!
It was the table.
Pure science , machenics and slight of hand ...well done sir.
Ive seen probably a hundred fool us acts this is my favorite..
This is the true craft of magic. It doesn't matter "how" he accomplished each effect, in fact.. who cares ? To sit and try to impress other viewers with an off-hand speculation or solution, just serves to cheapen this beautiful performance.
I love it when I can track a trick, every move, know exactly what you're doing.... until I can't. You, sir, fooled me!
i love that even when the boys know how something is done, they can still truly appreciate the techniques and skill of the person performing. this was done amazingly well!
Best act I’ve seen on penn and teller great job DK!!!
I performed magic professionally for almost two decades and could never even dream of achieving this much beauty. I'm speechless.
Not gonna lie. Started wack and turned into the most amazing thing I seen in a while.
A couple of "tricks" thrown in to mostly well done artistic illusions. Well worth the time to watch.
This was really wonderful. Penn said it best, it was beautiful
The bit where the cup vanished from the glass. Oh man. I turned the video back, watched it again with my mouth hanging open, and said "JESUS!!" I don't know what you did, but that moment just looks somehow different from any other vanish I've ever seen before.
This is an incredibly pretty, charming act. Love it. One of my favorites.
Generally when I watch a magic trick I immediately set into trying to find out how it's done. I like to see if I can figure it out and then go check the channel here on UA-cam that explains all the tricks that fool Penn and Teller- sometimes I get it right, most of the time I don't. But- this piece of magic was so beautiful, it captured my fascination so completely- I never want to know how this was done. There's something really special about being amazed like a little kid again- thank you so much for sharing this with the world. It puts me in mind of the act Pen and Teller do where Teller is pruning a flower- it's just gorgeous. Almost brings a tear to your eye to see it performed.
For all of the work you put into it alone they should have given you the trophy.
The Act is WOW!!! The editor could have been more sensible and careful. Not their mistake. Most of the time in my experience we end up fighting with the production side editors because they don’t see what we magician’s know and see. So sometimes best moves are exposed. Whataaaaaaaat an act!!! I loved the science , especially the ball with its precision fall. Became a fan of you Mr. DK. Andddddddd SUBSCRIBED. 😜
this routine put tears in Teller's eyes
This is one of the few Fool Us videos, I've come back to view multiple times. This was amazing.
This act is insanely beautiful
Absolutely gorgeous routine! It starts out so simple, but then the gradual build up of the composition made me emotional to see it, and it was truly a standout performance from the episode. I hope you are able to continue performing in Las Vegas, because I truly believe you have a lot to offer to American audiences.
i knew the big payoff was coming but it was so simple and good. just a ball rolling into a hole.
That's magic with a majesty to it. Bravo!
I enjoyed the whole act. But my favorite thing is... you made an ACME black hole. You took the black disk, "shadow", put it on the table, and sent a ball through it and into the glass. Bugs Bunny and Wile E Cayote would feel right at home. I am completely and delightfully amazed.
DAM, I knew 90 percent of what you did but it still made that feeling of child like wonder take me as if I saw REAL magic for a brief time. Thank you for giving me that feeling as I do not get it much theses days being in magic for over 50 years myself. And that 10 percent blew my mind.
Spectacular illusion. Right up there with Eric Chen and his ribbon trick.
That there is art. Gorgeous. And thank you!
I loved your act, man. Your humility and talent are worth praise.
That was fantastic. Your sleight of hand is immaculate.
Loved it. No surprise he's a FISM winner
What a graceful performance! Nice work, sir!
Mind boggling and breath taking.
Mechanically, it could be understood. Artistically, that was PHENOMENAL, and a JOY to watch.
Wow, that was incredible. And I don't think I've seen the crowd so involved as in this one; they were completely invested to the end
오오 대박! 너무 멋집니다! 축하드려요~!
If I could only use two words to describe this trick, I would say: Beautiful and Elegant
Instant Fool Us royalty.
I've seen your act from someone's "Reaction Video" but I seriously needed to search, find and comment this original video. What a fine, beautiful routine!! Thanks DK
Several parts truly amazed me. Great routine. Started slow and kind of boring, but then it had my full attention and by the end I was big smiling!
I love the fact that magicians like DK knew that they wouldn't fool P&T, but still wanted to show their amazing skills & ideas. The only sad thing about this is that so many wonderful magicians (again like DK), whose tricks did not fool them, would not be awarded an opening act with the P&T Show in Vegas.
This dude is good. That was a real joy to watch.
It’s so simple yet elegant. It’s moving how beautiful this magic is.
That was Friggen beautiful man. Well done
