I have ADD, 16 months a widow. So much stress, paying bills are an issue, memory as well. Cero energy. So glad I came upon this tpoic, totally identify with it! Just wonder how long this will last! Had to move, and just can't finish putting everything in its place, it overwhelms me!
I have ADHD too.I understand 100%. Jan 6th it'll start of the 4th year. Without him. I seem to have been better when I had to refinance my house so I could afford to stay. My 2nd yr for me was the worst. It just happens....... ive been in this group pretty much when she started the videos . Im glad you found Leo ! She's wonderful & such a. help, !! There's always someone to talk with. That brain fog could leave at any time. All my best to you, Aleta ❤
Yes the Widows fog is real. I have Epilepsy and I have to take things in degrees, so this fog has lasted longer for me. The motivation for me has gone out the window. You are right it just amplifies things.
For me it was i had to hit the ground running. My Husband did not have life insurance and the house mortgage from our local credit union, as they say the mortgage was in his name only but I had the paper work pulled from the credit union had my name on it as well but they do not want to acknowledge me as the wife. It's like I'm doing the greving process in reverse
You can use your Apple Calendar app that's on your phone, program an event and it will give you a reminder option and you can make multiple reminder options. For appointments, I usually do a reminder for the day before because I like to plan my tomorrow the day before. Then I set a closer reminder more like the 1 - 2 hours before the scheduled appointment. Hope this helps! Does Google calendars on your phone not have the option for reminders? I don't use that app, so I wasn't sure.
I left my passport at a leasing office 2wks ago, my emdr therapist pointed out vagas nerve resetting exercises, which are super easy and all over gootube. I take the adhd meds, but stativa gummies are much easier on the kidney, adhd meds are actually legal methamphetamines.. ashwaganda is helpful as well for the grief and the fog!
Thanks for the advice- I also take gummies and that helps. The meds are from the same family as methamphetamines, and are a stimulant, but they are not the exact same thing, and they certainly help me manage my adhd symptoms. I’ll check into the other supplements, thanks!

Yes, the combination of grief and adhd has been a heavy combo for me to handle. Routines and medication helps me the most!
Thanks for your continued support!
