Nice review guys. Mark, I’m looking at the Q3 for street and a few spontaneous outdoor portrait shots. Instead of lugging my D5 kit around would this fit the bill for an all around carry every day?
I've been trying hard to think what actual improvements over my Q2 would make me want this... but I could think of none. Tilt screen? No. 8K video on THIS particular camera? No. Wireless charger that is so slow? No. For the portraits I shoot anything over 47 MP just makes for extra retouching time on skin. Sadly, I've come to the belief that the Q3 is for folks with money to burn. A cash cow for Leica I'm sure with the new batch of 'accessories'... most of which should come with the camera in the first place. Q2 happy here.
I would disagree there’s not a reason to upgrade, specially taking into account the new BSI sensor with Pixel Binning. Maybe just not something you particularly need.
@@FernandoMartinezFilm There are certainly some features that are going to be great for some! If I were a nature or architecture guy the Q3 would be THE camera.
as a q2 owner, the bsi sensor and pixel binning is a massive upgrade. Go watch mathphotographers video on the Q3's dynamic range. the q2 is terrible in low light with its color noise and banding, that alone is worth the upgrade its a massive difference
The Q3 is a real nice redesign of an already staple camera. Very awesome and always great to see Mark
Great to see you Seth and chat about the incredible new features of the new Q3. Thanks for having me.
@@depaolapictures513 anytime you know that!
Such a fun shoot with the whole team - what a beautiful camera!
Hi Mark and Sage.... love you guys AND the Q
Always great to see Mark. Just took a workshop with him. Brilliant!
Very enjoyable video to watch - especially to see portraiture being done this way (wide angle, no flash).
street fashion photography interesting combination.
Sigma FP L + Leica/Zeiss L Lens can capture 12 bit 4k raw video + 60MP stills. Don't sleep!
Yeah but L lenses are bulky and the FP is ugly so definitely not for the Leica lawyers crowd.
Need to see more pictures in color from this camera
When is your store going to get them in stock to ship to those who have pre ordered.
What is the availability date?
I have the original and saving for the upgrade 👍🏽 excellent video 🔥
On UA-cam it looks like iPhone quality but price is 6000 EUR. Show this photo to any client and she will be your last client 08:36
I'm not impressed either!

hey Seth its your favorite Photolorian .. .Will the new camera Tether ? Also how many shots will the new battery get ? Great video
Many of the photographs do not have an even horizon, in some photographs the model has a "cut off" part of the foot. Artistic approach? Maybe.
Not a Leica shooter [yet} but, wondered if the Q2/Q3 will connect to Lightroom for a wireless or wired tether?
Does the Q3 have a leaf shutter and the accompanying high sync speeds? Thanks
Great!
Same Battery as the Q2/M?
A quick question regarding the Leica Q3 handgrip if I may. Is it swiss arca compatible ? Thanks.
Nope
What kind of memory card would you need with this?
SD memory
how is the tilt screen supported ? on plastic or metal elements ?
Leica is allergic to plastic.
Wide open is the way to go...
A7RV + 24 F1.4 GM vs Q3?
Size & Weight alone, Leica wins

Trust me ...i change my Q2 with q3 and everyday i luveeee ittttt.....offcourse its not cheap even you sell your Q2...but it worth it
It's a camera.
The Q3 seems to be a great camera. However I have to say that the images shot in this video are simply downright bad.
Panasonic autofocusing
Who cares. It’s great.
this is a weird video
