her hair came out pretty as hell. I've never watched a better quick weave tutorial either she did a great job of showing how he did it step by step. lots of comments about the gel, but she kept saying that's just how SHE likes to do it. that don't mean you gotta do it like that
I love Quick Weaves!! Most of you people say it breaks off your hair but for me it actually grew my hair!! I leave it up for about 2 weeks, wash it off, leave my natural hair out for a few days and on to another style, like braids or crochets.... Love It, Love It, Love It!!
It makes me proud to see someone in my city (Cleveland) doing her thang and inspiring others. I start cosmetology school soon, but I feel like I've already learned a lot from you!!! Keep doing your thing girl.
People must don't know that quick weave is all about the molding by using gel. It doesn't hurt your hair and it itches just like a sew in. Ive been getting quick weaves for 2 years now and my hair has grown more than anything.
I guess some of y'all are new to this shit,t his is the old school method if a lot of y'all did this then y'all's hair would be more healthy with no spots or thinning, this keeps her hair protected from glue, everybody don't want a wig on their head,we grew up doing this shit and it works!some of y'all been watching to many UA-cam vids, this is way before UA-cam
iktr... if I have to get a quick weave I prefer this method over any other.. its quick no hair damage and once the gel dries you can't even tell its on there and NO ITCHING.. These comments make me laugh... but your comment was the only one on point... Take care..
הידראנגאה שלי u must be a different race, lol you have no clue of what your talking about, this is a culture thing your in the wrong place no lice or mold here ,it is simply applying protection to the hair smh
This is sooo wonderful that you shared this quick technique. It took me a total of two and a half hours to complete the look. I washed and conditioned my hair and everything. It is so great that a professional, such as yourself, can share your tricks and skills of your trade. May God bless you and keep you always.
Great job. The first time I ever had a “glue in” this was precisely how it was done. I kept it in for two and a half months (I know too long) but still....once I removed it under the shower not only did I not have any hair loss but my hair had actually grown. A lot... and felt very healthy. I couldn’t see HOW she did it but I definitely recall the steps. Thank you so much for demonstrating and explaining. everything. Can’t wait to try this tomorrow. One question? I don’t own a “hood dryer” just a “hand held blow dryer”. Would that work or can I just allow it to “air dry”? Again ....great job.
I love how professionally you showed this tutorial. Love seeing Black women doing their thing and winning. Girl if i had hair I would buy some weave from you lol. Blessings :)
this is the best I've seen...your technique and end results are superior to many others. Your client's final style is neat and looks very natural. Beautiful work !!!
wow so many complaints you have my vote great job with this video I love the finish results the lady in the chair could've smiled more that's what make the style more beautiful
Omg I love it!!!! I always do my quick weaves with the weave wonder and pro style gel but now I'll just add strips instead of the weave wonder! Her hair was slayed!!! I love it!
Quick weaves are to be worn for 2 to 3 weeks, not months. This is a great way to protect your hair. Your head will not itch to death in that short period if time people. Great job on the style.
She is old school that's how I mold my hair and that's how you protect your hair and keep it healthy if you love hair you have to be willing to learn and enhance your skills it's so much fun good people i love to see people do great work her hair is da bomb baby
for those of u that is commenting on how much gel shes using....obviously u dnt know anything. the gel will not harm her harm it actually creates a barrier as well and helps the molding process so plz be quiet and stop watchin if ya gonna be negative
Jessica White girl half of these dumb bitches on here getting my nerves I had so many quick weaves and my shit ain't never came out in used to spritz to my shit wasn't coming down lol
AnJ B please I'm not mad it's just females wear so much I thought they would like they ain't put gel to hold it down talking it nasty they just sound dumb as hell
OMG! You're the absolute best hairstylist on UA-cam! You got me ready to move to Ohio just to be your apprentice. Lol. (I'm seriously considering it though) I graduated from beauty school in NY 7 yrs ago and I WISH I had a teacher like you. Your techniques are not only outside of the box, they SHATTER the box! Can't wait to try out some of your techniques!
THIS was amazing!!! All of your techniques from start to finish are flawless!!! You're making me want to come to OH just to get my hair done by you Miss.Meechie :-)
when i said most women i was actually speaking from personal experience. where as with some it doesn't work the same. i wasnt speaking from just reading the jar nor ther ingredients:) *****
omg im.so glad i found your page ! alot of stylist are selfish with their beauty secrets , i really appreciate you showing us your techniques , please continue you to do more videos .... could u possibly do a video on how to cut in layers , keyshia dior mohawk , and the latest L-part quick weave bob with the hair tucked behind the ear
This is beautiful obviously by my pic you can see I am white but I love using some tips from women of color because I have coarse dry hair and I have always had great luck with hair care suggested in these kind of videos ...could the technique you just used work on caucasian hair?
She never said they did. She said she has course, dry hair and black hair care tips help her the most. But to answer your question, I'd opt for a sew in unless you want something that won't last that long. I could never keep a quick weave to stay on longer than 2 weeks.
Thanks so much Nyesa...and Miss Diamond I didn't mean to imply that Afro hair is course and dry I know that is a stereotype the same as all white hair is soft silky and smooth...I just mean that African American hair products and techniques seem to all be geared towards frizz and moisture which is exactly what I battle daily I am a very curly frizzy haired child to 2 people with bone straight soft silky fine hair and because in the summer I am as dark as Halle Barry people often ask me if I am mixed so I started looking into the hair care and it has always been a success with my hair sorry you thought I was being stereotypical.
Ok GREAT VIDEO but when I hear my favorite son August alsina- kissing on my tattoos (instrumental) my heart dropped and I instantly subscribe and liked lol! 😂😂👏🏾🌹
Great tutorial. This is what quick weaving is all about. I came here to see the molding process and this is a good vid. Thanks for sharing your time, because you don't have to, You want to. Appreciate it.
it's a shame people....especially women...are so quick to disrespect what they don't even understand. let's see them do their style of quick weave or ANYTHING on their channel. oh....that's right..THEY DON'T HAVE ONE!!!!!. I'm sure your client loved it.
good job! :) I'm a Filipino and I believed mostly Filipinos cannot embrace this kind of method we're very conservative when it comes to proper hair cleaning but all your works are good! :)
You are an excellent stylist! Your videos are always informative and well done. I live in Pgh, and have family in Columbus. I am scheduling an appointment!
This stuff REALLY sticks too! Was given a sample at the beauty supply and put a small patch of it on my hair, let it dry for about 20 mins then put some hair glue and a small piece of weave on it. 2 hours later, I pulled and pulled and it would NOT come off! lol But it washes out in shampoo and warm water.
If they don't use the right products and stuff it could be , but I'm not all the way sure my aunt's wear weave and, they did that but the used grease to help keep it from drying.
Cosha Foster oh thanks... I think women who wear weave in general should stop it because it doesn't look good and they should embrace the hair they have because it's beautiful.. just my opinion
Same I love my natural hair I feel like it makes a lot woman look so beautiful especially when they just embrace it more makes them look so much prettier. My aunt's don't listen though lol
I'm just a white uneducated on the subject girl. Never had hair problems, never needed extra hair but this is so interesting and fascinating to me. Salute you women for going through all of this
Really wish I had a place around where I live that actually knows how to do my hair like this. You're so amazing at what you do and stunning as well, keep up the work you do :)
Hey meechie first of all let me congratulate you on your up coming make up line. Second i just ran across your videos i love your work i notice that you take a lot of pride in your work and care about your client's hair protection. I think you are truly talented with hair and fashion i also think you are beautiful. I look forward to seeing new videos continue to do what you love and god bless you!
I don't know how I ended up here since I don't wear weaves or wigs nor will I ever wear one, but I just had to comment on this video. This woman is already suffering from alopecia, damaged edges and damaged hair in general and yet she chooses to have the thin hair she still has gelled down and glued like this, smh. Why, just why? Her hair is sooo unhealthy, uneven and damaged. She should be trying to nurture it back to health before it's too late, instead of having is gelled and glued like this. These piss poor haircare practices are why some black women are walking around bald headed. When will these people learn to stop abusing their hair? When?! Smdh.
wrlcrl the same techniques that work for 1 person to grow their hair may not work for the next person. This may help to grow her hair as it does mine. My hair was severely damaged before I started wearing my hair in a protective style like this and happily I can say my hair has grown tremendously and is way healthier
Soooooo happy I found your page! It's amazing! I can't do hair, but watching your videos make me think I can (in my mind) lol! Keep them coming! Blessed hands!
It kills me when men tell women what they should be doing with their hair, they can wear their hair anyway they want and they don't have to damage it or hate their hair to do it. I do hair and every race of women sit in the salon to have done what they want. They will sit as long as it takes. You obviously don't know anything about women and beauty techniques hair or otherwise. White, Latina and Asian all wear hair and sit and have it done. Stop projecting what you want for women on them, they know what they want and how they want to look. It's their choice and men are weaving their hair too. It's called the man weave, look it up. Let's see you can find women saying just be bald.
Foxy MaryJane No a real wig, especially a good, one is actually costlier to purchase and more if installation is necessary. But this method is more comparable to a weave not a wig. And is meant for a very short term style anyways.
it's actually simple and easy to take the glue off of material like that. I have some clients tell me they do not want they're here so it down due to them not keeping it in so long. it really all depends on the person.
The style and cut is amazing but that is entirely wayyyyyyyyy wayyyyyyyyy too much gel!!! Damn! We all know that gel not only makes your hair break off it makes your hair itch like crazy! There was definitely a better method to use since there are so many molding products out there now like 30 Second Salon Pro Weave Wonder Wrap...I would have much rather seen her use that instead of all that damn gel. That poor lady lmao
her hair came out pretty as hell. I've never watched a better quick weave tutorial either she did a great job of showing how he did it step by step. lots of comments about the gel, but she kept saying that's just how SHE likes to do it. that don't mean you gotta do it like that

+Ashley Williams I wear quickweaves all the time and my hair is just fine too.
It makes me proud to see someone in my city (Cleveland) doing her thang and inspiring others. I start cosmetology school soon, but I feel like I've already learned a lot from you!!! Keep doing your thing girl.
Congratulations and learn all tht u can, have your friends come in when u get to the salon
i have never seen a more professional, straight to the point, graceful, tutorial! you did that girl! you were was poised.. i loved it!
People must don't know that quick weave is all about the molding by using gel. It doesn't hurt your hair and it itches just like a sew in. Ive been getting quick weaves for 2 years now and my hair has grown more than anything.
thank you these dumb ass comments people act like she don't know what she doing
ms hello /indy girl right this is the oldest trick in the book! and it does protect your hair!
Really? And no damage? That's grear
I've watched a couple videos with this woman as the model, and the hairstyles you give her seem to take years off her age. Looks great!
I was thinking the same exact thing, this hair style makes her look like 20yrs younger for sum reason
Like, ten years fr.
My exact thought!
I agree. She looks brand new.

הידראנגאה שלי u must be a different race, lol you have no clue of what your talking about, this is a culture thing your in the wrong place no lice or mold here ,it is simply applying protection to the hair smh

I can tell a lot of y'all just put glue right on top of your hair...she is protecting her hair ladies, it's a Quickweave with glue.
thank you they don't know what talking about
this is the best I've seen...your technique and end results are superior to many others. Your client's final style is neat and looks very natural. Beautiful work !!!
wow so many complaints you have my vote great job with this video I love the finish results the lady in the chair could've smiled more that's what make the style more beautiful
Maybe she's not happy :P
GREAT video! inspiring me to do my own quick weave.. I've always done them on other people but never myself. thank you!! you're amazing stylist!
Love you Meechie. Keep educating those who want to be a successful Cosmetologist. Thank you for the Tut's.
I so loving this quick weave!!! Great job well done ma'am
I love your work ........ You explain so simple that everybody can understand the concept of putting weave in or a sewing thank you for that
I would rather have alot of gel on my head than anything else because it's protecting my hair from the glue
the paper and cap is protecting. she gonna be scratching her ass off or beating herself up
Angela Kemper. that's the only reason why i hate this method....you will be itching like hell! 😂😂
@@thedropqueenshow lol lol
Omg I love it!!!! I always do my quick weaves with the weave wonder and pro style gel but now I'll just add strips instead of the weave wonder! Her hair was slayed!!! I love it!

Sharelle Lucky exactly!!! Girl I use so much gel and my hair is never touched lol ppl that don't agree know nothing about molding
Jessica White girl half of these dumb bitches on here getting my nerves I had so many quick weaves and my shit ain't never came out in used to spritz to my shit wasn't coming down lol
+DaBoss Williams chill.. you don't have to get mad, just advise them in a nice way.. it's gel, nothing to get turnt over
AnJ B please I'm not mad it's just females wear so much I thought they would like they ain't put gel to hold it down talking it nasty they just sound dumb as hell
I think that's the best quick weave I have ever seen ..absolutely stunning
I just found out that I love the hell outta Meechie. This woman is talented.

THIS was amazing!!! All of your techniques from start to finish are flawless!!! You're making me want to come to OH just to get my hair done by you Miss.Meechie :-)
I wonder what her hair looked like when she took it off...
Black Swan like a overcooked hard boiled egg.
Washing her hair for days
this is one of the best quick weaves i have ever seen
am i the only one who thinks the gel thing is unhealthy for you hair
Lol nope 🙈
Gel actually has protein in it , for most women it helps it GROW
I was thinking the same thing
when i said most women i was actually speaking from personal experience. where as with some it doesn't work the same. i wasnt speaking from just reading the jar nor ther ingredients:) *****
You moisturize your hair before you put the Gel & with this style you just wash it out & it comes right off. This method never messed up my hair
Her hair came out so nice😍😍
It looks gorgeous!
Congrats on the cosmetics! 2 days away! You make me proud to be a woman of color! Your an inspiration to me! Thank you.
That came out beautiful.
From one professional stylist to another. .great job!
Everyone hair is diffrent .Just give this woman her props dang.
Your finished work is amazing. The hair looks so real once you're done. ♡it.
That came out really pretty
omg im.so glad i found your page ! alot of stylist are selfish with their beauty secrets , i really appreciate you showing us your techniques , please continue you to do more videos .... could u possibly do a video on how to cut in layers , keyshia dior mohawk , and the latest L-part quick weave bob with the hair tucked behind the ear

lol well I will take that as a compliment

Trayce Guitard

I'm sorry but watching this made my hair itch....good detailing tutorial though
Lmaooo me too!!!! I couldn't do this.

Tiffany Rush-Hayes I just imagine her bestinhbthr he'll out her head that's gonna itch

Awesome work doll. Thanks for sharing. Congrats on your upcoming makeup launch!!
Ok GREAT VIDEO but when I hear my favorite son August alsina- kissing on my tattoos (instrumental) my heart dropped and I instantly subscribe and liked lol! 😂😂👏🏾🌹
Ayye! And she got "I hold you down" girl!!! Great music choice!! 😍👏🏾👑
Great tutorial. This is what quick weaving is all about. I came here to see the molding process and this is a good vid. Thanks for sharing your time, because you don't have to, You want to. Appreciate it.
how do you take care of your hair under that though?
I love the way she soo professional with it and very specific
She shoulda just got a wig
Omgg im so Inlove with the bob you did . New subbie girl :) great job with doing her hair also !
it's a shame people....especially women...are so quick to disrespect what they don't even understand. let's see them do their style of quick weave or ANYTHING on their channel. oh....that's right..THEY DON'T HAVE ONE!!!!!. I'm sure your client loved it.
good job! :)
I'm a Filipino and I believed mostly Filipinos cannot embrace this kind of method we're very conservative when it comes to proper hair cleaning but all your works are good! :)
I love her videos. But I just have to throw out there that her hands are really pretty lol.
awesome video. No one ever really shows the step by step molding process, which is so very important.
What happens when her scalp itches?
I absolutely love that you're extremely talented and don't mind sharing your talents with the world, thank you!
the hair came out nice.....but wouldn't have wasted good bundles/closure on this hair style. remi pack of hair would have been fine for a quick weave.
That looks awesome I didn't not expect the outcome to look that great. Thanks for teaching me something new on applying the closure.
Her edges tho
i love this! Never thought about gluing a closure down in a quick weave. Thanks for the inspiration.
Me either. Lol
My thing is why have a weave that long just to cut it up like that o.O
Kenya Rivera so she can cut it the way she wants it
You are an excellent stylist! Your videos are always informative and well done. I live in Pgh, and have family in Columbus. I am scheduling an appointment!
More gel! 😂😂
Perfection!! As usual. You should totally do a favorite product video because that mousse you use is excellent
Why not just get a sew in?
it's quicker and cheaper
Chara Wells quick weaves are cheaper and less tension on natural hair
I am totally mesmerized by her talent
she need to get these smiling clients
cuz they look mad asf and😒😒🐸🍵
This stuff REALLY sticks too! Was given a sample at the beauty supply and put a small patch of it on my hair, let it dry for about 20 mins then put some hair glue and a small piece of weave on it. 2 hours later, I pulled and pulled and it would NOT come off! lol But it washes out in shampoo and warm water.
I have never heard of gluing down a closure
a lot of people do it. you can take the glue off the closer
+Cosha Foster isn't it bad for the hair doe?
If they don't use the right products and stuff it could be , but I'm not all the way sure my aunt's wear weave and, they did that but the used grease to help keep it from drying.
Cosha Foster oh thanks... I think women who wear weave in general should stop it because it doesn't look good and they should embrace the hair they have because it's beautiful.. just my opinion
Same I love my natural hair I feel like it makes a lot woman look so beautiful especially when they just embrace it more makes them look so much prettier. My aunt's don't listen though lol
Meechie you the realest. Never thought it was possible to pull off a quick weave with a closure. This came out wonderful
I'm just a white uneducated on the subject girl. Never had hair problems, never needed extra hair but this is so interesting and fascinating to me. Salute you women for going through all of this
women who do this don't necessarily have hair problems or need extra hair done do it for a different look!
+TheMizzyamb *some
all that gel got me Nausea 😣
right way to much
Kyiesha Hardin yes
and she usung pro-style gel..the worst.
***** Chile the worst ever
+Maria Moss . girl yes lol
Really wish I had a place around where I live that actually knows how to do my hair like this. You're so amazing at what you do and stunning as well, keep up the work you do :)
Glue on that closure???!!!! I was about to cry....you never put glue on that good stuff. Get you a cheap pack if you want to destroy it.
I feel you. lol
Romans116gurl right
Romans116gurl it's a tutorial it's her hairline I'm sure she's just a hair model for her

r.i.p hair
That is so nice! I always look forward to seeing your videos! I've learned so much just from watching you!!!!
All of that for a style that could be a achieved using a wig? I don't get it.
***** Ever think maybe the person couldn't afford to get a wig made and all they could afford is a quick weave?....
Maybe she don't want nobody snatching a wig off.
+Breanna Humes lol! That part! I don't like the idea of wigs either. I work hard everyday and my hair is in my budget.
Tia McClain exactly. I move to much and work to hard to be wearing a wig unless it's a sewed down u-part wig or something.
+Breanna Humes lol girl... 😂😂😂 I be think that same thing when I wear em so I just stick to my natural hair and weaves
I love your work! That bob is everything
I don't know how I ended up here since I don't wear weaves or wigs nor will I ever wear one, but I just had to comment on this video. exactly foh!
true 👋👋
thank you mama
I wonder how many are licensed cosmetologists?
Probably none, just men complaining about women as usual.
your videos are always so in-depth thanx for sharing came out beautifully ...
Oh my God! I sure hope that woman still has hair on her head when she's ready to take that weave out.
I am so in love with you and ur tutorials. U make it very easy
Wouldn't be easier and more cost efficient to buy a real hair wig
ikr
why does it matter what she get
Foxy MaryJane No a real wig, especially a good, one is actually costlier to purchase and more if installation is necessary. But this method is more comparable to a weave not a wig. And is meant for a very short term style anyways.
Really nice video. You are skilled at what you do Meechie and the hair style turned out beautifully. :)
My fear ( i never knew i had ) of gel just came out !!! #TeamNoQuickWeave #CantDoIt
THE BEST AND SOOOOO PROFESSIONAL!!! Luv your WORK!!💯💯
I cannot believe she's using GLUE on that good hair, you're only suppose to use glu on $9.99 beauty supply store hair
ikr. i said the same. closures aint cheap. no way in hell i put glue on it
i AGREE.. i was saying the same thing lol
in this situation I would assume she will deduct that on her taxes as advertising.
+fallen4j lmao
it's actually simple and easy to take the glue off of material like that. I have some clients tell me they do not want they're here so it down due to them not keeping it in so long. it really all depends on the person.
Congratulations on all your endeavors Meechie!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!
shoutout to the nonlicense mfs who talk gel can damage your hair...lmao said the women who been licensed for 10 yrs...but anywho..carry on
lol
Absolutely LOVE your work AND the quality of your videos! Can't wait to see more!!
My hair grows with black am pro protein gel
smh stfu damn
This is a good look and a clean fresh cut-I'll probably try this look out!
What a mess I'm glad I'm natural!!!!
I know it's gross that so much Is being slathered on just to create longer hair lengths. Gross
I'm a fan! This was really clean, you make it look so easy
Why df she put all that gel in the ladies hair never seen a weave done that way 😮
