Yep I love madaboutmeechy I've always done my quick weave that way except for the wraps. Also to minimize the amount of gel use wet your hair with water then slick it. It lays flatter and u save gel.
My cousin put me on to this method like 10 years ago, we also use pump it up after you put on the strips. I dislike going to people who don't use this method, it is so less damaging.
I mold mine the exact same way. The gel helps as a barrier to the glue. I also use growth protect solution also. The take down is easy as washing your hair.
Nice video!!! Thank you for sharing. You're always going to have people that are super negative. They always feel like they know it ALL. If a person doesn't like this method, they simply do not have to do it !! To each her own!!!
Yesssss!! I love Madaboutmeechie channel too! She is an awesome stylist and I'm glad she shares tips with the public, because some beauticians are stingy lol
Thanks for doing this video. I saw Meechie's video and I'm considering using this method. Except I think I need some tea tree and coconut oil or something to lightly coat my dry scalp. Thanks for showing how to do this on short hair. It looks so simple on the linger hair of her models. But, on your hair, I see that mine is doable. Not too much gel, cuz I hate glue on my hair.
I just have a problem with itching under cap once I mold it's definitely the chemicals I use to mold. I will try and let it dry real good and see if that works
I feel this is a good method I hate just putting gel in my short hair and when I put cap glue still get on back of head at bottom and it hurt cause still king is stuck on my hair edges I am definitely going to do your method
alot of ppl are cornrowing their hair underneath weaves now.....thats got to be ready damaging, untangling those braids with the glue on top...i still do the old school mold
I braid my hair under and use 3-4 caps and the gel or grow protect solution. I get the normal shed that would when I take down my braids from a protective style.
what is the difference between doing this quick weave and just clipping it onto your hair? side note I have collar bone length hair but its really thin and brittle bcuz I've recently moved to the Mojave desert.
Hey Ms Jazzy, nice video. I know u said u got the method from madaboutmechie (hope I spelled her name correctly ), but there's another young lady on youtube , tht do quick weave video to and she has been using tht method for a very long time, thts how I learned how to do the method. I've been following her for about 2 yrs now. She's really nice with it. Her name is tbdconfident check her out I think u will like her work to. I don't know het personally just passing on some info.
to much gell isnt good the moldin solution protect the glue and its a gard shield when it drys even have oils to mositure ur hair while the weave is in
Why can't you just braid the hair? Is it because u don't know how to braid? Seems like wwaayyyyyy too much work. Great idea for someone who's almost bald tho.
If you want your hair to grow you have got to stop putting weave in your hair at least wear wigs. My hair was thinning and I stop weaves and went natural now I'm bra strap length.
+NaturalBeauty17 I agree. What works for some doesn't always work for others. I find that quick weaves work for me bc my hair is actually "braided" underneath. It's all about maint.
+Lala Foreal For you! My hair has tremendously grown from wearing weaves and wigs. And just because I wear them doesn't mean I'm not natural. It doesn't work for you. So like I said, everyone is different. Have a blessed day.
Zordiah White Because most gels have alcohol in it, and that alone can cause your hair to become dry, brittle and weak; which can cause hair damage/breakage.
All that gel makes the scalp itch something fierce
Yep I love madaboutmeechy I've always done my quick weave that way except for the wraps. Also to minimize the amount of gel use wet your hair with water then slick it. It lays flatter and u save gel.
algeretta Thanks girl
I am looking at ur method😊 but I see ur using a cap too my hair is short and I am thinking of using your method..
My cousin put me on to this method like 10 years ago, we also use pump it up after you put on the strips. I dislike going to people who don't use this method, it is so less damaging.

Girl I had to come back to this video, I'm tryna do my own quick weave lol
I just have a problem with itching under cap once I mold it's definitely the chemicals I use to mold. I will try and let it dry real good and see if that works
ITS ALOT OF GEL BUT GREAT TIP THE KILLER FOR ME IS THAT DRYING TIME CLIENTS HAVE TO BE IN & OUT
I feel this is a good method I hate just putting gel in my short hair and when I put cap glue still get on back of head at bottom and it hurt cause still king is stuck on my hair edges I am definitely going to do your method

Only if my hair was long enough to braid. But it's not. I have a pixie cut
I braid my hair under and use 3-4 caps and the gel or grow protect solution. I get the normal shed that would when I take down my braids from a protective style.
MIZ MOOKEY THE RECESSIONISTA Yes it is. Was almost bald by the time i took the glued braids out. I wanted to cry because so much hair came out.
You Can Also Use End Papers
smh all u have to do is buy the moldin solution it drys in 5 min with the blowdryer then u add the weave to wash it out ur weave use warm water
Your skin omg you are gorgeous
Yea man meechie is a great teacher and u2
what is the difference between doing this quick weave and just clipping it onto your hair? side note I have collar bone length hair but its really thin and brittle bcuz I've recently moved to the Mojave desert.
Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely try this for my next quick weave. I have been using the GPS.
Did your scalp itch? Usually ampro black gel makes your scalp itch....
Pro style gel does not work on my hair for some reason
I saw her do this method and loved it!!
how do u do some up some down hairstyle with short hair
Can do this on relax hair.
Do you have a clip for a short quick weave like a pixie cut?
You Molded Your Hair to The t Girl , I love meechie channel
Ha a my whole head just started itching watching this process!!!!!! How do you get that off your head!?? Good gosh

What do u use for molding?
She tells you all through the video. It's gel. Ampro styling gel
Love your videos
would jam work ?
jam will make the tracks slip
this was really helpful
I know rite easy way
Very informative as usual:)
omg i looked madaboutmeechie video too 😆😆😆
How do you wash your hair? Does the cap fall off? Also, how do you remove it? Thanks! 🙂
You don't wash your hair w a quick weave really.. To take down is as easy as washing your hair or using conditioner to pull the tracks out . Simple
+Terrica Turner oooohhh. I didn't know that. I kind of guessed they wouldn't wash until they removed it, but I wasn't sure. Thank you!
to much gell isnt good the moldin solution protect the glue and its a gard shield when it drys even have oils to mositure ur hair while the weave is in
algeretta the problem with doing it with your hair wet is that it will stunt your growth and you can produce fungus.
Jenniffer Paniagua you are right should dry it before putting on that cap...
Nothing about this is quick 😩
This is a mold. Not the actual installation process.
to much gel
Firstview like and comment boom
Bbbb

Everyone's hair is different.

+NaturalBeauty17 Well by the looks of things I believe I'm right.
+Lala Foreal For you! My hair has tremendously grown from wearing weaves and wigs. And just because I wear them doesn't mean I'm not natural. It doesn't work for you. So like I said, everyone is different. Have a blessed day.
Lala Foreal I'm dying at "bra strap thin"...that's me in some areas lol
That is so damaging to the hair
Rachel Isaac how if she's molding it 🤔
Zordiah White Because most gels have alcohol in it, and that alone can cause your hair to become dry, brittle and weak; which can cause hair damage/breakage.
Sade' Adams whats a better gel then⁉️
Let me get this straight.. gel..toilet paper and now a stocking cap.. ur scalp must have been itching every hour on the hour ..just saying..
if you do this method you will want to scratch your scalp off
If u use regular black gel TRUST ME YOU WILL BE BALD HEAD. YOU HAVE TO WEAVE GEL PROTECTOR. SMH
O my looks like to much 😕
I bet that smells horrible after day 2!!!
That's Me! It doesn't why would it stink ???
too extra and its not quick at all
It's definitely quick and the take down process was even quicker!😜
no no no lol
to much gel
if you do this method you will want to scratch your scalp off
to much gel
The more the merrier. Gel is your protection 👍🏾
+MsJazzy2Classy Yes girl!
