Imagine how sad this is for Ashton Kutcher and how angry he must be. To bravely go before Congress on national tv and pour your heart and soul into legislation trying to prevent & stop human sxx trafficking and your former BFF Danny Masterson is doing this the whole time. Sad and infuriating. I heard Sam Elliot took it pretty hard, too and refuses to mention his name anymore because he once thought so highly of him. Had his character on "The Ranch" killed off immediately in a motorcycle wreck with barely a minimal funeral. Well done, Sam!
Multiple women, unless they made it up together, seem extremely unlikely. Danny also refused to take the stand. Why if you are innocent ? He is not afraid of public speaking.
Why tf is everyone here saying if? Literally spend five minutes looking into it, he definitely did it. Look at all the never ending list of men in Hollywood who rap3 girls and get away with it. There is no if here
Big yikes. Maybe you're from North Korea and is unaware of this, but the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says: '"Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence."
That attorney defending this serial rapi*t is an established kook. Leads me to think they had other law firms turn down this case because there was simply no defending this. This guy would defend Judas for betraying Jesus.
No, it is not being streamed. Masterson’s lawyer requested no media presence. He claimed, “We want a jury that is not contaminated by negative media coverage, and in the interest of fairness.” Interesting to note that the Weinstein trial is also happening in the same courthouse down the hall, and I believe there are also no cameras allowed in courtroom. There is also a civil suit against Masterson and Scientology for “stalking, physical invasion of privacy and conspiracy to obstruct justice.” As its civil and not criminal, it may be streamed. But this criminal trial is the first to go to trial.
I’m not going to give an opinion on innocent or guilty. My stance is that you shouldn’t be prosecuted for a crime 20 years later. I don’t care about “Scientology wouldn’t let them report it” you have the free will to do so. You’re choosing to follow Scientology and you’re choosing to listen to them. You also chose not to report it. Masterson has a family and kids now and you’re ripping him away from his family with no evidence. Not saying he didn’t do it but a he said/she said isn’t valid enough 20 years later to prosecute someone
You're the first person I have seen to finally say this! All of the evidence I heard from a few of the complaining parties is "I told my cousin and my cousin told me this", all hearsay evidence.
So it's not okay to rip Masterson away from his family, but she should have thrown hers away to try to take on Hollywood and Scientology back when no one gave two shits about allegations? That's just silly
It's the same thing they did to Bill Cosby. If they had reported him to begin with, there would be a lot less victims. I also don't believe for a second that any of these accusers should ever get a dime. They're b.s. that they figured no one would believe them. Well why do they think people will believe them now. Everyone is sounds guilty when they only say one side of the story.
The jury heard both sides.
@@coobay4786and the 1st jury was a hung jury. Which side do you believe illicits the most belief & sympathy? Answer honestly.
@@hahna77 Danny needs to go to jail.
@@coobay4786 how do you know? The evidence is few & sketchy and from 20 years ago. 30 to life tells me that he upset someone in the industry, big time. Truly vile criminals don't get this kind of time.
@@hahna77 First, it's not what I think it's what the jury thought which was guilty. Second, my personal opinion is that he has ties with one the biggest under the radar criminal organizations out there. The Church of Scientology.
I’m not hearing anything beyond a reasonable doubt. Terrible
What would constitute beyond a reasonable doubt??
Did you look into the actual evidence against him? Do that before you question what I say @@VanCityGal
How has it taken 50 years to get this guy to trial?
It took 20 years
@ Egil tell me you didn’t watch this video without telling me you didn’t watch the video
This aged well with his conviction. The prompted 'sentencing support letters' from Kutcher and visceral response to it also serves as ! delayed indirect justice for Ashton's unpunished cowardice when discovering his murdered girlfriend.
Good I’m Glad Dannys defence (I.E Scientology’s defence) is So BAD. I hope Scientology is Taken Down WITH Danny!!
Jesse Weber has really hit his stride this year :). Also like Tony Ortega.
I always thought there was something off about him.
I love his lawyers hair color.
Do you love me?
@@ijustdidahugeshit go away, weirdo. Nobody loves you
He was my favorite character on the show... Ugh.. Just shows how disillusioned you can be by Hollywood. And, none of the major news networks don't seem to be covering this wtf is that about?! Huh CNN?
Now if people who does that to kids would get life for their crimes. Not let them out after 10yrs etcetera. Because the victims don’t ever get their life back to the way it was before happened.
After Cosby I'm not Shocked Any more
This is so sad to hear because always like Danny Masterson he was one of my favorite characters from That 70s Show and I love them on the ranch are they going to make a Lifetime movie about him since he was found convicted
It’s really sad to see this! He was literally my favorite character in “That 70s Show” and now it doesn’t even feel like I know who he is anymore 😢
It’s almost like he’s an actor 😅
Ummm... you don't know who he is. Ya never did
Yeah hyde was my fav too , never met Danny tho lol
Imagine how sad this is for Ashton Kutcher and how angry he must be. To bravely go before Congress on national tv and pour your heart and soul into legislation trying to prevent & stop human sxx trafficking and your former BFF Danny Masterson is doing this the whole time. Sad and infuriating.
I heard Sam Elliot took it pretty hard, too and refuses to mention his name anymore because he once thought so highly of him. Had his character on "The Ranch" killed off immediately in a motorcycle wreck with barely a minimal funeral. Well done, Sam!
@@danw1089 🤣🤣🤣
You are kidding me?
Where is the evidence?
What evidence do you want?
Multiple women, unless they made it up together, seem extremely unlikely. Danny also refused to take the stand. Why if you are innocent ? He is not afraid of public speaking.
Why tf is everyone here saying if? Literally spend five minutes looking into it, he definitely did it. Look at all the never ending list of men in Hollywood who rap3 girls and get away with it. There is no if here
While I agree....it still has to be proven...its the basis of our entire legal system.
I haven't seen any evidence. Many other accused men don't have evidence against them either, just claims from people who could very well be lying.
Big yikes. Maybe you're from North Korea and is unaware of this, but the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says: '"Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence."
Were you there? No? Then its if.
@@RMello26 What evidence do you want?
What a monster that guy is
That attorney defending this serial rapi*t is an established kook. Leads me to think they had other law firms turn down this case because there was simply no defending this. This guy would defend Judas for betraying Jesus.
😂😂😂😂
He would of gotten less time if he murdered one of them.
Is Ric Flair defending Danny Masterson?
Anyone else notice his attorney has a day planner with year 2020??? 😳
😂😂😂😂😂
And if its to note dates that reference and pertain to 2020?
The photo is from the preliminary hearing which was in 2020. That's Tom Mesereau who is no longer Danny's attorney.
Wonder who else is out there buying silence.
Scientology is weird and scary 😨
Is Ashley Schaefer his defense counsel ?
It’s hard to believe that the jury is comprised of people…. like y’all in the comment section 😂
Scientology is the problem. Doesn't anyone get that???
eddie munster hair hairline love it.
Is this case not getting streamed??
No, it is not being streamed. Masterson’s lawyer requested no media presence. He claimed, “We want a jury that is not contaminated by negative media coverage, and in the interest of fairness.” Interesting to note that the Weinstein trial is also happening in the same courthouse down the hall, and I believe there are also no cameras allowed in courtroom. There is also a civil suit against Masterson and Scientology for “stalking, physical invasion of privacy and conspiracy to obstruct justice.” As its civil and not criminal, it may be streamed. But this criminal trial is the first to go to trial.
Why Hyde? Whyyyy?!!!
Yoi cant find the trial anywhere why is that
She was worried about hurting David Miscavage but he doesn't care one bit about her/all of them! He is evil
Anyone else tired of this "no evidence? no problem!" bullsh!t?
Guilty!!
Yes 💯
Innocent
If you’re interested in learning more about Scientology, I recommend Mike Rinder’s new book. It’s enlightening.
Dudes used to be wild before the me too movement. He prolly did it and didn’t think he did anything wrong at the time.
Isn't that the same lawyer that represented Michael Jackson????
I ignore any show or podcast that TO is involved in. The man forgot how to be impartial as he aged
He did it
So it's not okay to rip Masterson away from his family, but she should have thrown hers away to try to take on Hollywood and Scientology back when no one gave two shits about allegations? That's just silly
Yeah what he said.
It's the same thing they did to Bill Cosby. If they had reported him to begin with, there would be a lot less victims. I also don't believe for a second that any of these accusers should ever get a dime. They're b.s. that they figured no one would believe them. Well why do they think people will believe them now. Money.
What are rediculous MLM companies....?"
Dep paid millions for that coverage as party of a pr strategy. No one on this case is doing that
