Request: I'd like to know how to get back to dance after years of break (and still a beginner 😓) tips for mental, pressure, comparison to others, embarrassing feelings, disappointment about myself.. potentially after weight gains, injuries, just a mental break (never been better after months of practicing so gave up but wanting to get back) etc. Because that type of people are not a true beginner, they know the basics and it's hard to find contents for them.

hi to anyone who reads this and hopefully steezy! i’ve been a dancer for a few years now and i used to be good at creating a good muscle memory in class to the point that recording that final open class video wasn’t so intimidating but recently, even through the beginner classes i’ve been blanking out terribly. i don’t consider myself a beginner but i know i am a beginner in different genres if dance. even if i get all the movements down during the drilling section of the class and the full run through, the moment i hit the camera it’s like everything’s forgotten. if there’s any tips and tricks to help me combat this i would love to hear them and any help would be soooo appreciated. i’m trying not to be hard on myself but it’s so hard not to when i have high standards and know i can be much better. thanks!!

this is a good general exercise warmup, but i don't think it's right for dance-- at least it's unlike anything i've done in 15+ years of dance. there aren't isolations / rotations here.
