    Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

      I used to ride the bus in San Francisco…. I was sitting down when a woman got on. I was texting someone. She got mad at me for controlling her mind with my phone. I laughed until I realized she was serious.

      The best stories come from the bus. I remember once going to my golf class during university and being stuck next to these people talking about living in compounds, weapons, and fighting the system. I wanted to get off the bus as soon as possible because I was worried about what these people were carrying on them.

    Lol, there's a scene in criminal minds where the female agents are out at the bar and one comes over and says "you're not going to believe this! This guy works for the FBI!" And they all start fawning over him and ask about his job which "can't answer because it's top secret"
    Then one of them asks to see his badge and he says "I can't show it"
    "Oh, well does it look anything like this?" And they all pull out their FBI badges.

    “Anybody who is that obsessed with cheating is cheating themselves” 💯facts 💯

    • @rolandhansen812
      @rolandhansen812 23 дні тому +14

      Perhaps, perhaps not. I will say that people usually think others are like they are. So, if he is accusing you of cheating, he may not be cheating, but he is certainly thinking about it.

    • @rabbit9905
      @rabbit9905 23 дні тому +40

      Yeah I do agree it's a good indicator but personally I've never cheated, but I have self esteem issues and have been cheated on in the past. I dont accuse my man of cheating but I do express my fear that he will because im afraid I'm just not good enough. In any case, a partner 'obsessed' with cheating definitely needs therapy or some form of personal help. When they say "no one can love you until you love yourself" it's more like, your insecurity and fear of abandonment pushes people away even more. They can love you but eventually get worn down by needing to prove it over and over.

    • @naylas3908
      @naylas3908 23 дні тому +23

    • @karmagal78
      @karmagal78 23 дні тому +11

      Exactly! A friend’s ex husband kept accusing her of cheating. While talking to her, this is what she said “when?! When would I have the time?!” She and her (then) husband have 2 kids, the 1 at the time was a toddler (both kids are the spitting image of their dad), she was taking nursing classes at the time, working 2 jobs (1 at a nursing home and 1 at a gas station), and very little help from her (then) husband, who had plenty of time to cheat. When did she ever have the opportunity? Never. But he certainly did (and he did).

    • @sngray11
      @sngray11 23 дні тому +3

      This has definitely been my experience! 🤷🏼‍♀️ My ex kept accusing me of cheating (when I hadn’t) and it was because he was sleeping with other women behind my back. As soon as I caught him, the relationship was over. Once a cheater, always a cheater and I didn’t have time for that.

    When my ex told me one day I folded his laundry wrong, that day I stopped doing it. He also never wished me a happy birthday or was even nice to me on my birthday. He tried to isolate me from friends and family. And told me I would be alone forever if I left him. It took me years to get the courage to leave him...and by then being alone sounded so peaceful. Life after him is so much better.

    I will never forget in my second year of college there was a guy an ex girlfriend of this guy (don’t really remember why they broke up but pretty sure cheating was involved) but she waited until the very last day of the add/drop period of the next semester (for those that don’t know what i mean it’s usually the first week of the semester where you can make any last minute edits to your class schedule after trying it out and seeing the syllabus I.e. drop classes that obviously will be too much, add a class that fits your schedule better, etc) and dropped him from ALL of his classes so he basically had to drop out of school for a semester because the schedules were finalized now and he had no classes. Which subsequently meant he also had to move out of the dorms because he was not a full time student.
    Exes can be scary.

Forced me to be financially dependent on him, made me beg him for money and keys to the car to feed our daughter, and then told the judge that me begging for money to feed our daughter was harassment and the judge AGREED WITH HIM!!!!!
    I didn't have a lawyer, obvy, because I didn't have money, he did.

    Abusers rarely show their true colours in the initial honeymoon phase. The abuse starts subtle and slow. The abused party ends up isolated and with a diminished sense of self worth, and often this happens to people before they know enough of the world to know different, especially if they had an unhappy upbringing.

    That first story was so relatable. Ex basically wanted a 1950's housewife, to stay at home, cook, clean, take care of him. Not have a job, not have friends, not have a voice. Just shut up and stand there. Just like how his mother is (should have been red flag #1, I know). I finally decided to do something for myself and went to pharmacy school and he tried to sabotage it all 4 years bc I would be making about 3x more money than him and knew I wouldn't have to rely on him for $$ anymore. I prevailed and left him right after I graduated! The most craziest, nit-picky thing he said to me? That I couldn't have the blinds open in my bedroom (we slept in separate bedrooms) because the sun would come through the windows, heat up my bedroom, and therefore heat up the house, kicking the AC on. 🤦‍♀ Once you realize your worth, you'll be embarrassed by the sh*t you settled for!!

    1. He told me immediately about his job and I told about mine at the first date.
    2. He talked about his work, but never about actual cases and never mentioning details.
    3. He had years of study and so on, there's no course or shortcut.
    4. I met his friends, even colleagues without problems.
    5. After 6 months of relationship, he had to go on a "special mission" (lol), in reality, it was some kind of surveillance. It was unclear, how long it was going to be, so he gave me an emergency number, I could call and somebody would reach out to him.
    The relationship ended sadly because of his job. We weren't compatible. His job is dangerous and although it isn't likely that something happens to him, you feel on edge and stressed.

The most bizarre thing that happened during his career was when the family lived in Iran, and the entire family moved suddenly when my father and uncle were in school and didn't tell them. @geminidragonreads it was 1960. The kids were in school and they had to move immediately but were never able to say why. They lived on the army base, so I guess there were only so many places they could have moved to. No idea why the neighbor knew unless they worked with my grandfather. I never knew my father's parents but I've head some disturbing shit. My grandfather died 6 years before I was born and my grandmother had some major psychiatric issues so she wasn't allowed to have any contact with us. I doubt she even knew the extent of why they moved that day. Prior to the job he had had a dangerous job in the army during WW2. It had to do with the targeting system for missiles. He was one of the soldiers who had a gunman with him to shoot him if they were ever under threat of being captured. I wish he had written some of his life down. But my dad has always told us anything that he related to him and the oldest uncle had done a bunch of research into his army career and after so that's how we found out he was in the CIA.

    I felt that 1st one! The gaslighting of “oh babe just stay home with the kids, it’s ok, I’ll take care of you. You don’t need to work and if I do change my mind and tell you to get a job, you will only work where I say you can” now during our divorce it’s “she did nothing to contribute financially so I don’t owe her anything!”

    My ex husband was Nucking Futz!
    It’s true what they say about how they treat you on your birthday is an indication of how they are as a person.
    I always take my birthday off of work so I can have some quality time on my own where I don’t need to think about anything or do anything for anyone else.
    On the last birthday where we were together, he said that he was going to take the day off of work. I told him no, I wanted/needed a day to myself (with my daughter) and that we’d see each other after work. He took the day off anyway.
    I planned to go out for cupcakes with my daughter, so he tagged along, ordered a cupcake for himself and after taking a bite said he didn’t bring his wallet or have any money on him, so I’d have to pay for his. I was naturally pissed.
    I had planned to treat my daughter for lunch, to go to the library together etc. and to take a drive out of the city, however he was being an a$$ the whole time and I wasn’t going to subsidize his meal on my birthday, so we ended up going home.
    He yelled at and berated me for not treating him better, pouted, literally stomped up the stairs (despite being in his 30s) and slammed the bedroom door shut.
    After a couple of hours of him pouting, he came downstairs, which I thought was to apologize.
    Nope!
    In front of my daughter, he told me that he wanted a divorce, that he’s done and that we’re through.
    Best worse birthday of my life.

    When you work for the American Federal government, you were told to never put a Target on your back. You don't tell people who you work for and what you do, and if you were in a uniform you have to cover up when you leave work. And I kid you not, we were told to never take the same route to work every single day. Because some people will either follow you to work and then back to your home.

    My husband, boyfri4nd at the time, was disappearing and staying late for our first Christmas a lot. We lived with my mom at the time and she's the one that noticed this behavior. So when she brought it to my attention I said, "look if he is cheating, then I'll tell him go be with the other chick. But I'm nor about to accuse him because I ain't got time to care right now. I'm in college and have a job. So when I do have time ill figure it out." Turned out he was making a shadow box filled with our best memories from that year. He was going to his friends and having him help get glass cut and getting the box together. I know it's not a bad story but I thought you'd all like it.
    Also, FBI agents are allowed to tell people they are an agent. Now if they're on a job and you are being investigated they may not tell you until they have finished the job. FBI agents are federal cops essentially so a daily basis means that they don't have to operate in secret.

Then says there was no one there and hung up. Funny thing was, the ringing never stopped. The ringing was coming from a second phone that was in his pants pocket. He still tried to gaslight me. I made an appt with a divorce attorney the very next day.

It took me forever to get in but I did! I found a hidden app that had a message that he got someone else pregnant too. I woke him up screaming at him. Later on after he deleted everything he told me it was there and that I never seen that lol. Like come on! To this day (no im not with him) he will tell our daughter, that I might tell her one day that he's a liar but that she shouldn't believe me because IM THE LIAR. lol

      @@Pam_Beesly They just can't comprehend the fact that we can see through them. You know, I even laughed in his face when it happened. It didn't hurt me because, by that time, I no longer cared. It was just the thing that finally made me do what I needed to do. He still tries to keep up with what's going on in my life. He texts me but I ignore every one of his messages. Once, he even had the Sheriff's Deputy do a well check on me. They couldn't tell me who had requested it (don't know why not). Anyway, I told them I knew it was my ex-husband and explained all the nonsense he was doing. They were quite put out with him. Haven't heard from him for awhile. Hope he has learned his lesson.

      It is not the gospel of my life. I only type ppl whn I run into narcissists, personality disordered egotists, & patent bullies.
      Quick, easy, good predictor of behavior, & no muss, fuss, or bloodshed.

    I wish wish wish "FBI Agent"'s girl had been a fan of Criminal Minds. XD There is literally a scene at the beginning of an episode where the 3 female team members are out drinking and one comes back with drinks and a guy who is a "REAL fbi agent!" and they proceed to grill him and then humiliate him by asking to see his badge which he says is "classified", and then whipping out their own badges. Why did I let him determine my self worth? I should be the one knowing my own worth!!!
