My take on Roy Orbison's classic. Much of the inspiration for the melodic choices on the lead guitar line actually came from Rebekah Del Rio's version in Mulholland Drive.

What a beautiful reinterpretation of Roy Orbison! The fantasy atmosphere, the build up and climax are so beautiful. What a great musician you are! Thanks a lot for this pleasent 4:30 minutes they took me away for a nice place. Thank you!!
Thank you very much, Angel. That’s encouraging to hear. Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for letting me know. ☺️🤘
mmm Just perfect for my Saturday night. Oh, yeah!
That makes me happy to hear! Thank you :)
More of this sort of thing , I beg you
Ha! Cheers, John!
Mantap..very beautiful
Absolutely beautiful! The guitar tone throughout was amazing and I loved the piano as well. Really emotionally evocative and majestic sounding overall. Thanks for putting this out for us to enjoy!
Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words, dude. Really appreciate that, glad you enjoyed it!🤘
i like it , nice choose tones ...nice melody... nice background ...
Thanks for listening! :)
When it builds it’s like Vai jammed with Roy!
Cheers dude!
Very well done. I feel it
Thanks, Stewart!
WOW! You really did that song justice, had to give it 3 listens and I know I'll come back for more. Reminded me of my parents, brought tears to my eyes.
That's lovely to hear. Thank you very much. 😊
Great interpretation, interesting. Jason Becker's atmosphere when he wrote music for other musicians. Very ambietnt, I do not know if the word fits, but this is the comparison to my head that comes to mind.
Keep going !!
Thanks Piotr. 🤘🎸
Beautiful.
Thank you.
Wow 😍
Thank you, Jeff.
Awesome work - I always loved the melody of this song - something about the way it builds is just so cool. You really did it justice. I loved the eery/dreamy atmosphere of the first part (of course) and the way it contrasted with the latter half. Beautiful! 😊
Thanks, Laura. There are a few Orbison songs with incredible melodies so picking this one was hard enough! I think it was having the Rebekah Del Rio A Capella version to draw on that clinched it.
I thought this might be a cover of the Rebekah del Rio version of Roy’s song. The Del Rio version’s lyrics are in Spanish (Llorando). David Lynch used the song in Mulholland Dr, in the Club Silencio scene. Definitely worth checking out.
My cover is actually mainly based on her version. I'm surprised you missed her in the video. I put an image of her from Mulholland Drive in at the end.
I discover Roy Orbison by being a Chris Isaak 's fan, I digged in his music, and so thank you for this version
Interesting! - I discovered Isaak's music through the Finnish group HIM. Orbison wrote some great tunes!
Lovely interpretation and dancer.
Thank you.
Beautiful!
Thank you, dude!
amazzy whammy work !!
Thanks Carlos! 🤘🎸
Dan ketika jiwamu terbang
Meniggal kan tubuh dan kenangan
Yang mulai terhapus waktu
Dalam sendiri kurenungi tak ada satupun keabadian
Semua akan terkubur bersama sepi
Indahnya instrumen dan tariannya 👍
Saya menghargai kata-kata baik Anda, terima kasih!
I commented somewhere but can't find it now. (prob in the live stream). Absolutely superb mate! That last minute gives me serious chills
Thank you, dude! Appreciate that 👍
To sum this up in a word I'd say.....restraint.
Interesting! I'd say your comment also shows plenty of restraint lol. Did you happen to watch the whole thing? I'd say the beginning definitely applies to what you said but would have the thought the ending to be the opposite. Anyway, perhaps it's lost in text, but I'm not quite sure how to interpret the comment. 😬
@@JWSoundworks2 Yes, it builds and the overall feeling I got from it was restraint. And meant in a good way or interpretation.
Sometimes less is more.
@@milton1448 ah, I get you now. Yes, I've never been as much of a fan of the overblown shred stuff (but it can be fun in small doses), so I guess the cover could have easily fallen into lots of widdling and fast scales, but I would always choose to favour melody and expression over technicality for the sake of it. 😊 Thanks for clarifying, by the way!
@@JWSoundworks2 Didn't want to leave you with mixed feeling as it was meant as a compliment. Emmpu from Night Wish also often relays more on restraint and melody over shredding, (for the sake of shredding).
Please reaction Alip ba ta...
