  • Why it’s important to flush your brake system every time you get your brakes done. Brake fluid absorbs moisture as time goes by and that moisture will rot your brake system from the inside out!!!

Real smart to send the old contaminated fluid through the ABS and back into the master…….for those without proper tooling: remove the fluid from the reservoir with a turkey baster, vacuum, etc., put in new fluid, open bleeder on farthest caliper first then either gravity drain and refill, or pump and open bleeder with a helper. Sending the fluid up as shown in this video, will cause you more problems than you need.

You pump from the master cylinder to the caliper, the moisture doesnt hurt the inside of your caliper, the reason you need to remove the old fluid with the moisture is because water doesnt work nearly as well as hydraulic fluid compared to brake fluid. Youll lose brake pressure and there will also be air and copper in old fluid which will also hurt your braking pressure.

Remove the screen to get old fluid out the resolver. Then replace briar to adding and bleeding process

The fluid that has moisture is removed because the brakes when they get hot like on a steep grade The moisture will expand creating a Air pocket and giving you a spongy break pedal or in some cases you could loose your brakes completely!!

If you do this before you start pumping into your calipers remove the fluid from the resevoir to prevent overflowing otherwise everything checks out right up until you have an ABS enabled vehical....👍😂👍

Sometimes people will hook that sucker machine up and see air bubbles continuously flowing- that's just air getting in through the threads of the nipple bolt could take the bolt out and put some grease on the threads to stop the air from getting in through the threads

I’ve never seen it done this way before. It’s always out the caliper bleeder screw, not in.

I wonder if he changes his oil by pumping the oil up through the drain hole.

You've just introduced air into the system. Bleed through the furthest caliper, then the next, then the other two, adding new fluid to the reservoir as you go, make sure you get all the air out of the system.

No all air gets bled out from the master cylinder reservoir. It is called reverse bleeding, air rises. This is how it is done in the aviation industry.
