This is just fantastic ! I was only if possible asking for a back and forth choice in time stretch mode... .???? 💓💓💓💓💓 lovlediga stuff ether way!!!!!!!
Jamie Lidell here (I am hanging out with audiophiles) Yes the timestretch needs to work with an offset between time spent forward and a different amount of time backwards. It’s a certain sound but pretty cool right? I was so happy when I came across it !
Is there a documentation for the midi implementation ?
I saw the midi chart p20 on the manual, but I feel (it seems) the device is also popping out midi information. is there information about this ?
Sounds awesome. If this is a customised app done by yourself, can I ask what software is being used to build it on? Thanks
Just incredible. Now I have to get into midi with this thing.
It’s very capable. I’m so happy they allowed so much to be controlled this way.
always a genius and a plain ol G, jamie
Can anyone explain the timestretch bit but away from the software? What is the pedal actually doing?
Most certainly. Jamie lidell here. What I did was set a metronome inside max for live. The metronome is free and not tempo sync’d. It moves fast and triggers the pedals reverse function. Originally I just wanted to use it to hold a section using the same amount of time forward as reverse but I thought it would be cool to send LESS time to the forward direction vs the reverse so the loop slowly progresses as it’s spending less time going backwards vs forwards. Hopefully like is all
Eh ? Hope that clears it up !
Great video. Where can you acquire that software?
Right now it’s available on my patreon www.patreon.com/HOWA which contains a full Manual and install instructions :)
Will the app work without Max For Live, or does it need that to function? I don't use Ableton but really would love this to open up the pedal for me
Needs ableton to host the max patches. There’s a lot of timing and exclusive behaviors that need logic that’s beyond my TouchOSC skills. A person who knows LUA might have a chance though
@@HANGINGOUTWITHAUDIOPHILES one could move the patches into Max, and then build an application out of them, right?
@@machinate yeah! Absolutely.
@@HANGINGOUTWITHAUDIOPHILES quick question Jamie - are you sending midi out to the Microcosm via your soundcard? I have the pedal (love it) and Live but not a soundcard with midi outs - might work with a USB to 5 pic midi cable I guess (I have one) let me know as I'd love to try this app!
@@ijazzmunki so long as you can send midi out from ableton (usb to DIN would be perfect) you’ll be good. You need an iPad too though. If so you’re set.
Wait, is there an app for Microcosm?!
this was made by me to expand the midi control of the unit and access new powers :) get it here! @t
@@HANGINGOUTWITHAUDIOPHILES get it where?
@@HANGINGOUTWITHAUDIOPHILES I did NOT realise the microCosm could do innerLoops like that. That's a VERY small club rn - it's like the Zoia, the eventides and Microcosm, more or less.
@@HANGINGOUTWITHAUDIOPHILES yeah, I also would like to know more.
Where can we get this ?
It’s wild ! Lovely sounding looper :)
guys give me one please
