People who train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu need these exercises thank you for an amazing video

🔥🔥
Yessir I’m doing the exact same thing just turned 18
You’re sports specific exercise videos are always so great and some of my favorites
Man, I am only 3 videos in through your content (I have just randomly discovered it), I am already hooked.
I am getting in shape to get back to my fav Sports Judo/BJJ after a long pause due to inflammatory disease, what you have shared will definitely help a long way.
Love from France 🇫🇷.
A fellow judoka 🔥🔥🔥
Oss!!!!
This is great! Thanks for posting.
This was really informative! 🙏🏽
LETS GO YALL MADE MY DAY
I'm glad I finally found your channel where have I been I love this content more wrestling and strength condition videos please I can't get enough

Thank you. Really glad you liked it 💪
Love this guy he is a genius coach.
THE BEST!!! THANKS
Great vid. Thanks!
My new favorite channel thank you
One of your best videos ty
The pull is so important. Burroughs has a stronger vertical pull at his weight than most Olympic weightlifters. I think wrestlers are the standard for pull strength
No they’re not or they wouldn’t be good wrestlers
@@np494609Burroughs. gold medalist. Sadulaev, (multiple single hand pull ups) gold medalist. youre thinking pulls off the floor. im talking overhead pulling. there's the chinese and everyone else is sub par compared to medaling freestyle wrestlers
@@np494609how in the hell would being strong make you a less good wresler
Great content
Great Video!
wow great video and i just subscribed to your channel. A plus content and material
You're crazy man, I love your content!
I needed this for BJJ thanks
Brutal😮coach..
Thank you
Ah... Perfect video brother. Congrstz
I was a college wrestler, and these seem great! Thanks for the drills💪🏼
Nice!
I don't wrestle but I love to implement these into my workouts
These are great! Do you also like zercher carries?
Sometimes you don’t know how to use your arms
It is boom boom 😂😂😂😂
Dane Miller is the best coach out there for both Olympic style weightlifting and wrestling 👍👍👍👍
A man full of positivity and motivation !!!
Respect for all.
I just did this today. Good workout. I wasnt able to do the rope climb though. Upsettingly.
Might be a good idea to cover excercises that eccentuate exploding from a seated position like wrestle ups for bjj?
So do you do these excercises during a special period of trainging, or do you just incorporate them troughout the whole year? Thanks for the video, really gave something to work with
My Grandson is wrestling in high school I know he's going to like this I like it AWESOME
That was a lot of "BOOM BOOM" for Today.!!!
Lol I love the noises you make when showing the exercises FOOOOOMMPPPP FOOOOOPPPPPP
Yur sound effects Crack me up!!!!
do some for boxers !! Would greatly appreciate it
also zerher squat is amazing.
Let’s get it
Me gustó pero debería tener variantes por sino tenemos algo como la soga
Please make some videos on judo strength and conditioning
I think I can name a harder single leg squat variation; put a log bar out on some safety pins, pick it up in your elbows, then do the single leg squat! Lurchers all day baybayyyyyyy
(I'll try it out Wed as Lurcher squats (i named them) are phenomenal)
Honestly I think just a strength routine in general paired with wrestling training is elite
we have power cleans as the king of gym exercises for wrestling 👌
Just subbed. This stuff shouldn't be free!
Hi Coach Dane. Hope you’re well.
Training experience - Novice.
Unable to wrestle due to inconvenience.
Do you have a beginner wrestling strength program that I can use to get the strength/size of a wrestler? Thanks 🙏🏽
Absolutely. Try the Peak Strength App choose beginner and choose wrestling under combat sports and you will get a program just for that www.peakstrength.app/?YT&Video&APP&BestWrestlingExercises
@@GarageStrength 11:45 "dohhhhh"
I just did all of these as a workout and it was fucking amazing
This channel should be 45% wrestling alone. Great video
What sandbag do you use?
I have trouble with the explosive push ups past clapping height
This is a great work out, I added Turkish get ups to work on getting up from bottom. And I’m cooked. Thanks for the video.
Are there any exercises that target these areas but are better with body weight and dumbbells. Specifically those that deal with exercises without the rope?
WOW
Can you make one for lacrosse
No disrespect… just want to simply the amount of exercises and complexity.. I’d personally run it with a push pull sled incorporating a variation of movements with that single piece of equipment. So many viable options especially when you incorporate a rope on it or a belt. For my lower back. Rack pulls from just above the knee is great. Weighted barbell duck walks you can keep it relatively light and it’s been proven with different studies the benefits of remaining in a squat like catchers in baseball. Another exercise 40yd sprints.. variation of pull ups using the negative portion. Half rep dips to finish off a day.. for not having much equipment to use this is a great plan to mix and match that I’m putting out there..
What kind of shoes are you wearing?
Can we use those exercises for jiu-jitsu?
This videos helpful here in Africa.
Odu????? My friend Buddy Lee wrestled at old Dominion University. His coach was grey Simmons l.
Guess I started watching informercials again
Oss 👊🥋
Can anyone say how many times per week we can do these?
I AM a skinny of 145 pounds
Those routines are fire
Wrestling is best
Best way to get into wrestling shape and that's wrestle.
Finally
Can you do Weighted Calisthenics Content pls?
I think we could do that in the future
@@GarageStrength thanks man, best Coach!
What if you aren’t strong enough yet to do rope climbs or don’t have a rope?
What about neck bridges
Thank you very much, coach. I would like to talk about what distinguishes Dagestani wrestling from the mountains
Love the pops
I want to do wrestling but no wrestling gym in my city
Gotta teach myself at home i guess
do wrestlers emphasize chest training? if they do what sort of ones, do normal bench pressing translate well on the mat, any martial art really?
I think push strength lends itself really well to many martial arts, but most of it is going to be directed overhead or at least at an inclined angle.
Most athletic push movements in sports utilize our mechanical advantage as much as possible. You know what that means? Incorporating legs. Of all the possible lifts, I’d say the push press is likely the most applicable.
Now, there are some situations where horizontal pushing is useful. In BJJ, you often have to create frames from bottom positions and push your opponent away so that you can hip escape, side control being the most prominent. In boxing, you may gain slightly more punching power since the pecs adduct and internally rotate the humerus (the basis of the punch along with shoulder extension, scapular protraction, and elbow extension). Those aren’t the only instances of horizontal strength being useful. That’s just what comes to mind immediately.
As far as the bench press…it’s great for building absolute numerical strength, and I do think it has its place as a basic lift. However, priority should be given to lifts that involve scapular protraction, too. In the bench press, proper form necessitates maintaining scapular *retraction* (“pinning” your shoulder blades to the bench), and while this is excellent for targeting the pecs and anterior deltoids, it takes away scapular protraction and the full range of motion of the push as a movement. A better choice would be something like a deficit weighted push-up. You could get a massive range of motion via the stretch in the deficit at the bottom and full scapular protraction at the top!
BOOVE BOOVE BIYAH BIYAH
Am i going to do These in one workout?
seems a bit overcomplicated at times. Would replace single leg front squat with just front squat. Lunges with squats. Rope climb with weighted pull-ups. Also bench is essential imo
Please post a judo training video
damn son, I guess I gotta start wrestling to get that kind of physics.
I promote your videos among the Ukrainian wrestling coaches!! )))
Hips and wrist control
Interesting why he used an Ab Roller 1-wheel and then Dat used a Squat without both full waist belt with the powerlifting leather belt. 😮
although this is probably not your niche i'd love to see a video from you about tennis strength. it's a really weird sport for muscles because any weight has a huge cost to speed and mobility. the ideal body for tennis would be novak djokovic who is a string bean with massive flexibility, insane abs, and boosted legs.
What do I learned from coach Miller?
If you want to improve as athlete, you must single leg squat
Cannot escape one of thee most valuable tools lol enjoythesuck
👍
Should I wash these gs straps? They're beginning to smell weird. It could also be something else in the bag..I am a rugby player. 🤔
How much weight in hug lunges ?
I’d say something comfortable, then work up to what your opponent would weigh
I was curious if you'd subscribe to the theory about working out in explosive manner - I'm not sure it's factual or not, but I'm interested in it. Do you have any research to base the theory on? I'm not saying you're wrong, just curious if this has been studied deeply or if it's more based on practical experience. It makes sense intuitively to me... but so do plenty of things that end up being incorrect (or less correct or misguide or whatever).
Exercise is spelled wrong on your thumbnail
Beginner to pro make video for wrestling
Rope climbing should be top exercise for wrestlers.
👍🏼👍🏼
Will the exercise still work without the “boof” noise?
ya... but what if you are terrified of heights?
Darling ( no I am not a f...g) I will incorprate some of these exercises in my daily routine. At + 77 I have very little time left.
