Its technically harder for magnus cause the weight isnt distributed plus he is a smaller guy carrying weight rather than just a bigger guy who walks around at that weight
Well kind of, the real reason its u fair is juji weighs that much and most of it is muscle, magnus weighs 150 and just added 80 ibs of dead weight, juji can lift way more than magnus for instance because he has far more muscle mass, but when magnus doesn’t have the weight vest he can do far more pull ups, dips etc., anything that advantages strength to weight ratio. @@matthewbilton5943 Technically difficulty is relative. For a world class climber like Magnus EZ. Sooo not a lie 😂
Two videos from Magnus, Tom, and Juji, today is the best.
m.ua-cam.com/channels/nzy0VdwrqEnA6f6LbGyeGg.html
Juji did an impressive job here given his weight and lack of experience in rock climbing. Magnus, you are very strong guy and surprisingly so. It's one thing to have muscles but it's another thing to utilize every muscle in your body in a coordinated and synchronized manner all while knowing your strengths and limitations. I love how humble you are and how encouraging you are to everyone you compete against. Those extra pounds Magnus put on were not muscles but fat. Juji has them in the form of muscles which makes Magnus's job much harder but that's where his experience, skills, and strength compensate. Well done to both of you. You rock :-)
damn Isaac got big since we last saw him
His voice is much deeper too haha
He probably saw what he looked like on camera and that motivated him.
Yeah, legit 5lbs or more of muscle added. Looks healthier.
10:18 “Magnus’ favourite ice cream flavour is meth” 😂
This also cracked me up. Oh lord.
I rewinded to make sure i didnt miss anything after the TH in meth xD
I audibly wheezed.
@@saskiaahaaha3464 ba dum tss
It's interesting how different sports generally attract different personalities.
Next up: A strongman competition between Juji and Magnus, but you are strapping so many helium balloons to Juji, that he weighs the same as Magnus.
Damn bro, I need some carrots
Magnus is so down to earth and humble of his abilities. Its inspiring
We need a full Issac collab!!! He's the reason my skinny ass got into rock climbing.
“Are you about to watch your middle school principle tell you a story about his divorce?” 😂😂😂😂
14:38 Actually the Scandinavian languages do still have the word "smear"! That is to say, the ancestor word that turned into english "smear" turned into "smör" In swedish, and it means "butter". (also note, the ö is said kinda like a surfer dude saying "uh")
side note, its funky how this works. i weigh 223lbs and can climb 5.12 i think it really just comes down to which muscle groups you train.
"To make it fair." While he's wearing a weighted vest lmao
TFW you have Magnus' video open in one tab and Juji/Tom in the other. Feelsgoodman.
These guys make an awesome team. I enjoy the chemistry
What about a 600lb bigfoot like me
SHRED NATION what’s big foot gonna do with a workout compilation, he’s already huge
I see you every where
Smallfoot owes me 20 bucks
I've seen you 3 times before

"MAG DID V1 AS A 4 YEAR OLD"
Juji: falls down
"Oh, I've just never heard you breath from five feet away"
Juji's Weight is mainly muscle. Magnus' weight was mostly metal. This is so impressive from mitbø
that is so metal🤘
"Really feel the rocks." - Tom
*Juji immediately falls.
I love this video. My daughter has been climbing for a while and now my husband and I are getting into it. It is so much harder than it looks. Much love and respect to all of you who do this. Gotta know though, where is the gym you're at? It is so much bigger than where we go.
I feel like I could trust Magnus with my life.

Why?
I need to see Magnus and Clarence together.
Agree
Why
These are the two kindest souls in the world.
@@jujimufu I feel like their the best at what they do or at least my favorite guest.
@@jujimufu They'd make a cute couple tbh
Man, I just feel like a lot of people don’t realize how much technique is involved in being a good climber, instead of full on muscle. I think so many more people with low confidence could be introduced to and crush this sport if they practice technique. Respect for anyone who’s down to give it a shot, whether or not they think they’re strong enough.
I love every video with Magnus.
Tom & Juji: This time we've finally figured out how to handicap him so we can beat him.
10 minutes later: Well...fuck.
Jujis body looks more insane with someone else’s head on it lol.
Don't you mean Isaac's body looks more insane. He makes Juji look like a kid.
This is the guy that tested Todd Howard's Mountains for Skyrim.
its Todd and Magnus looks and sounds just like him
Tom Howard
See that mountain? You can climb it
magnus: “i weigh that amount”
Tom: “yes you think that..”
"if you fall its not going to be your head, its just going to be your organs that die"
-Tom
I love how supportive y'all are of each other. I originally started watching Magnus, but this came up. Enjoy the comeraderie and healthy competition;)
It’s always so wholesome to watch everyone help juji as he climbs
Would be cool to see juji climb with a 70lbs counterweight on the line.
Wow, Juji's totally colorblind.
When they call Juji "John" you know shit's gotten real.
m.ua-cam.com/channels/nzy0VdwrqEnA6f6LbGyeGg.html
I used to free climb in Utah wearing flip flops and ankle weights. After a week could practically run up bare foot. Partial conditioning is such a cool concept.
Just after watching Magnus vid with the dyno now this. Jackpot
Juji's reaction to magnus crushing the v1 is so relatable honestly 🤣 and I'm only 120 lbs
magnus pulling off with extra weights with the same back muscles and arms while juji has those mufu back and arms, a big difference indeed.
“Magnus did V1 as a 4 year old”
"Juji weighed 200lbs at age 12"
'Magnus' favorite flavor of ice cream is meth'
17:35 you can respect chess players and still say it's not a sport.
Those guys can lose more than a pound during a match becausr of the amount of thinking they do. Its actually insane how much energy is burnt without moving physicslly.
@@DhirC35 Can you provide a source?
@@DhirC35 proof?
This shows how talented the climber is, more than anything else.
Ya, the body holds its own weight way more effectively. Every bit of it is literally attached to you in the most strategic places. It’s probably a somewhat close comparison. Also, Jiji’s weight is muscle, so it is packed close to him distributed really evenly.
I love the reoccurring characters on this channel. Magnus is definitely a favorite
I prefer Devon, but Magnus is up there too
Calling them characters makes it sound like they're not real, genuine people, lol.
Juji's Adam Ondra impression on that V4 was impeccable
I love magnus so much 0:30
Tom: I wish we had someone that weighed as much as you to challenge
Magnus: I weigh asvvvuv **smiles**
lol pretty sure he said "I weigh an amount"
@@Me-uv6kc he said "i weigh that amount" lol
You're deaf bro

You can see how much magnus is using his legs to lift himself more than his arms.
