    THE REAL best move on this list is #2 Its just as much effort to pull it off compared to all the others but notice how the rest have them landing on their base. This has the guy ready to be pinned, landing on his back.

    When I do a double leg or single leg (or when someone does it to me), I find that its easy to just put them in a headlock and choke them out as they expose their neck while doing it, how do I prevent this?

    • @chasonhayes435
      @chasonhayes435 7 місяців тому

      You are doing the take down wrong. You are bending over. When your knee hits the mat the hips, chest and head should all be vertical in a line. You can't put a headlock on someone unless they are bent over.

    The names of judo techniques are universal.
    On the other hand, why is there no universal terminology for the names of wrestling techniques?
    They seem to be very different from country to country.
    Is the UWW not worried about this?
    In Japan, single leg is called kataashi tackle, double leg is called ryōashi tackle, and gut wrench is called rolling.
    Since the term tackle is English, I assumed that the term was also used in English-speaking countries.
