Emmanuel is such an impressive and versatile singer, from his lyric baritone in the beginning to his perfect blend in every chord
He is very good.
Yeah his voice just sounds to cohesive. Even in his higher register and notes, his sound and tone is just so awesome
I absolutely love how clean every chord was. It sounded so good in an environment as wet as a cathedral. These guys are so good at filling up a space that it had me in tears
You gentlemen are absolute perfection! In all my years as a musician not only listening to but participating in part singing I am hard-pressed to think of a finer ensemble than yours. Your harmonies are intricate and your pitch is impeccable. I love that you can stand and deliver and let the music do its own work. No gimmicks. Just pure talent and the beauty and the art shine through. Please sing until you can no longer sing and share with the world your gifts. Bravo!

I graduated highschool this year (2020). I was a theater and choral student. at my school we do a show every other year that's a musical revue that spans across 1st-12th grades. This was supposed to be the finale......... that show never happened because of Covid-19. this performance brings a tear to my eye not only because it's beautiful, but because I never took learning this song seriously. I owe it to my school for giving me the love of music I have.
I also graduated this year... I was a choir student and I fell in love with it. I discovered Barbershop music during Quarantine and I’ve fallen so in love with the music, so moving and I enjoy so much of it! Stuff like this makes me so happy that music exists so we all have something to enjoy

That part switch between Rasmus and Emanuel at the end is so clean, didn't even notice it the first time

I noticed It the first time, but I thought that they switched in the '-lone', that would be more incredible
Not to mention the insane swap between them from 3:07-3:20. They are nuts for sure.
The high C# Emanuel hits at 3:10 just blows my mind 😭 his range throughout this song is over 2 octaves… and most people can’t even hear his part. Barbershop baris are heroes I swear

@@steyrz619 Martin and Ringmasters split over creative differences. Martin wanted to spend more time with his family and so they replaced Martin with Didier who was already their goto sub at the time
@Ethan , yes it appears that Martin Wahlgren never considered singing his career, as he had one, the other three are professional musicians, so it was never going to work. They needed to earn a living and he was too busy elsewhere.

I love tags with posts on the 5 (other examples being Go The Distance by Vocal Spectrum or As Long As You're Mine by Quorum)! Cool to hear Rasmus and Emmanuel switch parts at the end too. They are all such incredible singers

It’s the 5 of the chord but the 1 of the key on “lone” 😊 he goes E (the 3 of the chord and the key) then G# (the 3 of the chord and the #5 of the key) then c (the 5 of the chord and the 1 of the key)

Eureka! This is what I've been trying to find for You'll Never Walk Alone. ( stopped when the next song came.) The other UA-camrs either have a single singer or a small city of crooners, which really loses the harmony.

It wasn’t Jakob. Rasmus and Emanuel switched parts and it’s actually Emanuel that sings the high note at 3:06.

He had a career and couldn’t give the commitment required., the other three are career musicians, so it wasn’t working.

I am a huge Ringmasters fan but this isn't 'Ringmasters' as 99% people know them. This is excellent but you can hardly hear a winning bass here. No hate! Think back to Ringo Star, I say this with peace and love! This is weak. Sorry to the three Ringmasters but the band is broken. Peace and love!
@b33p, seriously? This is a fantastic performance and I was a huge fan of the previous incarnation too . This is certainly not ‘weak’ and I love this new ‘Ringmasters’.
Weak? Are you serious? Didier doesn't have to be a "winning" bass because they don't compete any more! What he is, is a very good, solid bass who has filled Martin's shoes very well despite critics like yourself. Ringmasters are a world class act and its about time people moved on from mourning Martin.
Martin was great but in terms of blend and resonance, he just fell short. Didier elevates the group to a whole new level and they are sounding utterly phenomenal here - and I didn’t think they could get any better! They just keep on getting stronger.
@@nooshiewest8738 Indeed he doesn't have to have won. And indeed, he is very good. He has done quite a good job of filling Martin's shoes but he's not on the same level and this we must simply agreed to disagree about.
@@b33p Didier isn’t Martin, true, but we would have had no Ringmasters if Didier hadn’t filled in for quite a while due to Martin not being able to perform with the group. I would rather have three original Ringmasters plus Didier than no Ringmasters at all!! I still don’t understand how you called this performance ‘weak’, you obviously were a big fan of Mr Wahlgren!!
