I watch 10th Generation Dairy Farmer and Welker Farms. Both channels with hardworking Farmers. Both very skilled multi generational farms. They do not deal with the public directly. This channel rocks. Great family, great shop, great energy. I’m in.

The new chickens are happy for you to be in the hen yard with them😁
In turn the rocks do decay slowly and release minerals the plants can use in the soil, preferably not on top😜

The fields look fabulous. I'm glad the rock-picking has helped so much. You probably have enough rock there to be the rubble inside the walls of a new bank barn. That would be a cool thing to do with it, and it would give you that calf barn you've been wanting. Hubby says to tell you that he appreciates all the explanations you've been giving. It really helps him to understand what you are doing and why. The babies look fantastic.

The way you plant your corn inspired me to do the something similar. I built a small corn patch out of cement blocks. Arched a couple of cattle panels over the top and covered them with plastic. germinated 30 plants in mid March and planted in early April. Took the plastic and cattle panels down last week. I kid you not, our corn is just about waist tall already! Shocking results for an Heirloom being grown organically.
    Thanks for the inspiration

Brian and Andrew. Use those rocks as fill for behind your concrete block wall.
Get a piece of drain tile and cover it with one of those sock covers. Run it to a weep hole in wall with a piece of gutter extension sticking out aimed down hill for drainage.
Put the field tile at the base of the wall behind it. May need to dig down some behind wall with shovel. Cover with the rocks then a small top layer of dirt. It should keep water from building up behind it and pushing on wall bulging or toppling it over.

Corn or flour tortillas with your fajitas? I flash fry corn tortillas and then freeze them so when I need some corn tortillas for enchiladas, huevos rancheros, or fajitas all I have to do is let the frozen corn tortillas defrost and reheat them on a comal. I buy the uncooked flour tortillas and also freeze them for emergency tortilla cravings.

My husband and I have learned so much from your videos. We live in Alberta Canada and heating our greenhouse is quite costly. This year, we draped plastic over the shelf and put a thermostatically controlled propane heater under the shelf. Each night, we go out and cover the plants with a second layer of plastic. We have a digital thermometer in the open greenhouse as well as between the two sheets of plastic with the plants and we keep it around 13c (55F) at a minimum between the two sheets. We have been doing this since April 14 - which is way early for us up in the cold north. Our germination rate is amazing and our plants are growing like a dream and our heating costs are way way down. We will likely have to continue to do this until the end of the first week of June or so, but we have spent about 1/3 of what we would have trying to heat the entire greenhouse. Thanks so much for all the good information you share. Those babies are beautiful and there is nothing like a REAL FAMILY FARM to wake up the world to what a beautiful life really is and how we were meant to live. Thank you , Andrew
